Excellent walking tour for two hours - great overview of San Sebastian’s story including some individual tales of people in the past who helped to shape it. Our guide was amusing, informative and smart. Highly recommend.

We’ve done a few of these walking tours. In all instances, the guides have been extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The tours have been fascinating. Highly recommend.

Gdansk tour with Martin
We took a free guided tour in Gdansk with Martin, who was excellent. Full of passon for the city where he was born and bred. Also very witty and entertaining. It's just a pity some people leave before the end in order not to pay a tip - it's quite shameful. These guides work so hard and the trip is worth every penny.

Fantastic tour
The tour was fantastic. It was both very informative and fun. While exploring the city’s most iconic landmarks, we also learned about the country’s history. This was my first experience with a free city tour and I regret not having tried it before. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way to explore the city.

Amusing insights with no sugar coating
Alexander was knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. He was also nice and loud so everyone could hear. He did not sugarcoat the negative aspects of his hometown but managed to inject plenty of humour. He was rightly proud of the Opera house and the link with Mother Teresa.

Santa Marta, Colombia
I’ve used GuruWalk in several cities world wide and find this a great way to get my bearings and learn about the area, history and people - usually from a local resident. My most recent tour was in Santa Marta, Colombia with Cesar. I was slightly dismayed to be the only person on the tour that day but Cesar put me at ease and was extremely knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed a guided tour of the gold museum and learned loads about the history and culture of the area.

Really enjoyed, not rushed, Eduardo spent a lot of effort and care putting the tour together. Lovely to get an evening tour too. Highly recommend, especially early in your trip to Madeira.
