My MacBook Air screen was replaced very quickly - next day - and at a reasonable cost. While I was collecting my MacBook I had a query about my iPhone (I'd looked online but whilst I consider myself a tech savvy oldie I can be easily confused by some of the jargon!) and everyone took time to be helpful. Thank you... it's not the first time I've used Halifax Computers and I can only fully recommend them.

Simon at Halifax computers is an asset to the company. Very helpful, kind and polite whilst being straight to the point. Brilliant service!

Excellent service. I took my computer in to them yesterday as the connector at the tip of my laptop's power lead wasn't connecting very well with my laptop, meaning it was a struggle to get it charged up. The staff member on the desk saw immediately that the connector was broken (I had had to wiggle it a lot to get it to connect and this had probably caused it), found a spare, fitted it, and it started charging immediately with no problems. I asked how much it was, and was told that there was no charge - he only asked that I perhaps give a positive review of the service. I am therefore happy to do this.

Great team, really friendly and helpful. Fixed my old imac and retrieved the data from the dead hard disc same day as it was urgent. Then helped set up my new mini mac. Definitely five star service.

Hey im jade and i live in halifax - so yesterday my speaker fell very lightly on my pc and basically the screen wouldnt come on etc. i was really worried because i had tax returns to get in etc oh and world of warcraft to play :P anyway the guys let me bring it straight in i dropped it off and didnt even get home before the guy phoned to say the pc was coming on so he started working on it straight away anyway then he phone a hour later and said its ready for pick up fantastic and good price thanks will be coming here for pc upgrades etc in the future

Halifax Computers are a professional organisation with a true understanding on how to deliver quality work, advice and most importantly liaise with you to truly understand your needs to ensure that they can deliver a quality service in a timely manner. I have worked with Simon, Lee and Chris for some time now and I cannot speak highly enough of them, polite, professional, informative and extremely hardworking. Halifax is lucky to have them.

We are a large veterinary company who have used Halifax Computers for some years, they work conscientiously, professionally, above and beyond, yet remain friendly and approachable.
They support our in house IT and remote access for our mobile solutions, in addition they also look after our telecommunications, nothing is too much trouble we ask, they deliver !
We would recommend this company to any business from a home PC to a multi million pound company.

I have dealt with Simon at Halifax and the team for over 10 years as a supplier and customer. They have always gone above and beyond. I look forwards to another 10 years working together.

Recently purchased a laptop form them, the emphasis was on service and meeting my requirements, they setup the new laptop, transferred all pictures, music and documents from my old computer to the new one. Gave me advice on which antivirus software to use (which was free or paid for - not by them so you could tell they were not on commission). All I had to do when i was unbox the laptop, turn on and connect to my WiFi at home. Many thanks - Highly Recommend would 100% use again for myself or others in our family.

Simon and his team have provided superb service to my company Peter David Properties for over 10 years now. They have been professional in their dealings and they really know what they are talking about when it comes to IT. As well as looking after our PC network they have assisted us to move to a cloud based system which is very flexible and creates many efficiencies within the business. I can highly recommend them.

Halifax Computers have looked after the IT side of our business for over 15 years and have always been great. Since the company was sold they now look after the new companies IT for the whole of the UK (6 Offices, 300+ users). We get all our new equipment and IT support from them now.
They provide an excellent service to us and have proved ivaluable with the Covid-19 homeworking for all of our staff.

I used to be a technophobe, however, working with Simon, Lee and the gang over the last 16 years has put an end to that! I am so grateful that they have kitted out my office at home to have everything I need to facilitate workshops across the globe. Quality service, professional advice and attitude as standard over the last twelve years. Our company has grown over the last decade and their support and guidance has always been outstanding. Whatever our requirements have been, from a little adjustment for a laptop or to installing a huge new server we have always been treated professionally and courteously. We had to change our server quickly due to it being hit by a virus. Halifax Computers came to the rescue and got us back up and running. Since then we have ordered various products, always delivered promptly. We also use their support team on a regular basis - always on hand to help us oldies deal with any technical issues. Would highly recommend Simon and his team.....great friendly bunch

I'm sure most business owners would agree that changing to a new IT company is a VERY big decision. However, we took this decision after (years) of deliberating and I have to say it was one of the best decisions we have made. Everyone at Halifax Computers is knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I have never written a review for anyone so this is a first for me and I am happy to be doing it!

Whilst the staff were excellent and the service to repair my pc was great, the rudeness I have just experienced from the 'manager' (whoever answered the phone - I deeply suspect it was not a manager at all) was unacceptable.

I called there as the adapter given to be compatible with the graphics card that they supplied was incorrect, having lost two days of work and made two trips over from huddersfield already this week I was reluctant to return for a third time due to an incorrect adapter.

The staff working there were so helpful and my one star is aimed solely at the rudeness I was shown when I explained I was two days behind and reluctant to make a third trip, could I post the adapter back instead.

I was told that in my efforts to explain why this is a mistake of theirs as they had seen my existing graphics card ports so could work out what I needed from there, that I was 'procrastinating' and when I suggested they perhaps should say sorry we made a mistake (which he at no point did) I was told that I should be grateful that they repaired my pc - whilst of course I am, I did actually pay £185 for this privilege... I was unaware that it is not practice for a customer to call back when supplied the wrong parts, clearly...

When I said this was objectionable, the person I was speaking to asked if I would 'like him to be a little bit more objectionable' and terminated the call. I immediately called back and asked to speak to his manager to which he said he 'was the manager' so I asked for someone above him, to which he then for a second time terminated my call.

So if you would like to be dealt with by this 'manager' rudely and inconsiderately, and recieve incomplete service, then this is the computer store for you. If however you value politeness, and service resolution when they have made a mistake, however small and regardless that you have received and paid for previously good service from the lovely and knowledgeable staff (he let you down, which is a shame as you were all so lovely and helpful) then I'd say AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I will never use this company again, not even a simple sorry we made a mistake. RUDE.

I notice since my review was first published on google, that it has been intentionally buried under numberous reviews from people who curiously are BRAND NEW google users who have had NO PREVIOUS REVIEWS postings or dealings before this one review... interesting indeed... YOU CHOOSE WHO YOU TRUST
