Again, very pleased with Halstead Glass. All the staff are very professional and pleasant to work with. The first time nearly 6 years ago they installed beautiful Crittall style bi-fold patio doors and now they have supplied and fitted a back door up to EPC standard. The new door fits well and looks good. Would I recommend them? Absolutely!

Despite the appalling weather, the guys did a fantastic job installing our warm roof. The electrician and plasterer were also very professional. Extremely pleased with all aspects of the work!

We recently asked Halstead Glass to quote for the supply and installation of replacement composite doors. While the initial consultation / site visit was positive, we were disappointed to later discover a major payment term that had not been made clear upfront. After paying a 25% deposit, we discovered, by reading their contract, that a further 50% would be required immediately after the site survey — meaning 75% of the total cost must be paid, in our case, 3 months before installation.

This condition was not mentioned during the initial site visit or when we signed their contract. When we raised our concern and asked for this condition to be waived, on the understanding we would pay the remaining 75% immediately upon satisfactory completion, the company refused to make any exception.

It was clear that the sales manager had no authority to apply flexibility based on his own assessment of a genuine customer’s circumstances.

Overall, we feel the lack of transparency and empowerment at Halstead Glass reflects poorly on its approach to customer care.

Prospective customers should ensure they fully understand the payment terms before committing to a deposit.

From initial enquiry through to installation everything was very smooth. The two chaps who fitted our window did a great job! Very pleased!

We recently had our old wooden window frames replaced as well as a new front and back door. From our initial contact to the completion of the work, Halstead Glass could not be faulted. The salesmen were knowledgeable and never put us under any pressure. Although, we had cheaper quotes we chose HG because we felt more confident about their ability to deliver a quality product efficiently and we were not disappointed. The team of fitters completed the job brilliantly and we have been very pleased with the finished product. We would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I cannot praise Halstead Glass enough! I am thrilled with my windows with the whole experience being seamless and straightforward. Every step of the process was explained clearly and the guys who fitted the windows were courteous, professional and hard working. My sincere thanks to George and his team and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Prompt, on time and very highly organised. Had patio door and window fitted by two very friendly and competent fitters. Once they were done they cleared up thoroughly, and there was no making good to do as they had done it all! Just A1 work. Very pleased and I would recommend them to anyone. This is the second time I have used them (last time about 8 years ago) and they remain the best in the area

I cannot praise Halstead Glass enough in all my dealings with them. I had all my doors and windows installed 6 years ago now to perfection to which I posted a glowing review and now they are still easy and friendly to deal with on after-sales. After a problem with my front door their friendly engineer came and fixed the problem and as a goodwill gesture I wasn’t even charged for the call-out although my warranty had expired. I even had a full cleanup and service of the locking mechanisms. Thanks to all at Halstead Glass for everything you have done for me.

Very pleased with end result. The few problems we had were taken care of without a fuss. The guys were very professional and every day left the house tidy. Highly recommend.

We particularly wanted a black door and found that there were only a few manufacturers who would give a 10 Year Manufacturer's Warranty on a South Facing Front Door. We are so glad we chose Halstead Glass who did a brilliant job removing the old doors and the surround, installing the new door, sidelights and the architrave. It looks perfect and no touching up was needed. We have no hesitation in recommending Halstead Glass and delighted we chose them. Great service and attention to detail from start to finish.

We had our conservatory glass roof replaced by a light weight solid roof.
Halstead Glass quoted us a very reasonable price for the complete job.

Craig and Luke the fitters were exceptional they were very efficient and tidy with their work. Also they were very friendly and pleasant, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. All the old glass roof and debris was removed promptly! Dean the projects manager was equally helpful and attentive pleasant friendly, he made sure that we were happy with the project!
I am an ex builder myself so I know what is good and bad within the building trade. Attention to detail and Quality appears to be a very high priority for this company, which is so nice to report.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Halstead Glass for conservatory roof replacement, my wife and I are absolutely delighted with the whole experience.

I have just had all my windows and doors replaced by Halstead Glass and I am very impressed with the quality of their products and the team who made this whole process a surprisingly pleasant experience. The initial quotation was very detailed and their surveyor was really helpful, when he came, in addressing any concerns I had about the small print in the contract. Their installers were polite, friendly and professional and left everywhere clean and tidy each day. I would thoroughly recommend this company. They are not the cheapest but the quality of their product and the professionalism of their employees was worth paying a little extra for.

Honest Review - after looking hours on the web I decided to go with Halstead Doors. Not sure why they have a low rating but the doors are perfect. Even my builder said the quality was very good for how much they cost! Quick delivery under 2 weeks and would recommend to anyone!!! Don’t listen to other reviews, thank you!

I recently had all my windows , front door fitted by Halstead glass I found the whole experience a delight from the sales team who helped me decide on the best options and price , to the installation team that turned up on time and were very friendly and tidy , the new windows look amazing I’m very happy with them and would recommend anyone to choose halstead glass .

There is nothing favourable about this Company for a potential customer. They don’t care about Customers. If you are in a dispute about their work and their goods, most people would withhold the final balance, which is only reasonable. If you do this with Halstead Glass they will threaten you with debt collectors. Reputable Companies would make every effort to resolve the dispute and not resort to lies and threatening behaviour. I replaced my old wooden frame glazing with patio doors in my lounge with a modern double glazed unit. I sincerely wish I had my old wooden unit back. 2cm of black rubber is showing at the bottom and you can see daylight through it.The whole purpose of this unit is to keep the house warmer and keep out drafts.

Great service from start to finish. Honest family run business. Had whole house refitted including doors and the quality of the fit is top notch. Fitters were nice chaps and kept everything clean & tidy as they worked. I know 2 other people that recommended them to me and am so pleased they did! Would recommend
