Very good service

Daniel Johnson [Hampton's St Alban's] has been intrepid in following up a number of difficult challenges arising from the rental of our flat. He is committed to helping both property owner and tenant resolve differences and move on to successful outcomes. Daniel is polite and professional. I can fully recommend his work and the work of his company.

Great service from Hamptons Caterham

Carrie and Anna at Hamptons Caterham were brilliant! Very friendly, clear, communicative and honest team throughout the whole house sale process. After months of not finding the right buyers, Hamptons quickly found us our buyers and with a respectable offer - we couldn’t be happier. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

The house we have rented through the…

The house we have rented through the Parsons Green office has been a great experience from the beginning. We haven’t rented in a number of years but are doing so while renovating our own house. The property is managed by Hamptons through the help and expertise of Danish at their property management. Everything issue is dealt with efficiently and politely through Danish making our lives so much easier! I can trust that it will be done always, thank you Danish.

A very professional company with a…

A very professional company with a personable and approachable team. I was at first apprehensive with renting out my home. I was put at ease and the process fully explained to me. They found a lovely family which matched with my requirements perfectly.
Jenny in the Property Management has always been helpful and very prompt with her communication. Thank you for looking after me. Would have no hesitation with recommending this team.

Hamptons are a highly recommended company

I have been dealing with Hamptons for the last 10 years, both for lettings in London (Ealing) and Cirencester. They are a very professional company, they are proactive, give excellent advice and are quick to respond to any issues and work really hard. Thank you to all at Hamptons! I would like to mention the following people. In London, Aaliyah Joumana and Aman Shahid from the lettings team, and Anca Ciobanu and Mya Miller from the property management team. In Cirencester, Justin Partt and Abi Piercy from the lettings team, and Jennifer Powell from the property management team. Thank you! I highly recommend Hamptons.

Excellent experience

Awful customer engagement.

Terrible service from a buyers perspective dealing with the Cirencester office. Made an offer and absolutely no feedback even after chasing them.
Extremely disappointing that basic customer service seems so far from being an important part when buying or selling a house.
We now know who we would not want to sell our house !

Total Fraud

I recently moved out of Crawford Buildingand had a very frustrating experience with the property manager, Brooke, and the management company.

My deposit was unfairly withheld for weeks after moving out on 22 August 2025.

The manager falsely claimed large items (a couch and keys) were missing, only to later admit they had them after I involved third parties.

Their communication was sloppy and confusing — including out-of-office messages with the wrong dates, making it impossible to know who was handling my case.

Only after escalating through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) and sending a formal written demand did I finally get most of my deposit back.

In the end, I received £1,980 of £2,800 — but only after a month of unnecessary stress, misinformation, and chasing. The management company made what should have been a simple process incredibly difficult.

If you’re considering renting through them, because you have no choice, be prepared to fight hard for what you’re legally owed. Keep everything in writing, document your check-in/out carefully, and don’t be afraid to escalate through TDS or the courts if necessary.

Good experience as house buyers

We weren't direct customers of Hamptons, but we bought a house where the seller was represented by Andrew Gartan of Hamptons in east London. The purchase itself took a while to push through, but Andrew was always quick to take action without being pushy. I would be happy to have him represent us on a house sale.
