Incredibly happy with Hamptons Balham
We have been incredibly happy with our experience of selling our house through Hamptons Balham. Tom and Jack were the main estate agents we worked with. Also loved their photographer Bo who spent over an hour and a half getting excellent photos and a detailed floor plan (a lot of estate agencies won’t spend that type of money and time on the house marketing). Davina was also fab.
The advice we were given was spot on and in a difficult buyers market we managed to get 5 offers on our house after our open house (meaning we only had to tidy the house once), £20,000 above asking price and chain free buyers. Hampton’s also helped us to go from offer to completion in 12 weeks (which was just what we wanted…in time for Christmas). We were in an unusual situation because we already knew where we wanted to buy, and had a very limited timeframe in which to be able to secure the place and Hamptons made it happen!
Loved the WhatsApp group they created for communicating. Loved that we were given all of their individual phone numbers (again a lot of estate agencies don’t give out these numbers so you are stuck ringing through reception). Communication, advice, marketing, pricing and sales were all excellent.
Felt like we were in very safe hands. Never felt I had to chase up to get to exchange and completion, Jack was always on the ball.
Couldn’t be more pleased and I’ve recommended Hamptons Balham to many of my friends!

A big thanks to Gary, Grant and the team at Hamptons who successfully sold our house in St Albans earlier this year. Our initial meeting with Gary was very reassuring; he clearly knew the market well and never descended to "sales pitch speak". Grant negotiated well with potential purchasers. Despite the market being in an odd place, we managed to get two offers for our house and the sale was very smooth. I would thoroughly recommend Hamptons.

My experience of Hamptons has been positive throughout my tenancy. Mya Miller (Ealing) is an excellent property manager who always answered my queries and worked hard to try and resolve any issues I had. She is professional, understanding and will always do her best to try and help you which I greatly appreciated.
Old Listed Country House
Very friendly and approachable team. Willing to adapt to our requests, listen and respond. Very good brochures printed. Online advertising constantly up dated and feedback. We were told about viewings in good time and also given ideas regarding what we could do to improve the house. They were all very diligent and hard working. Hamptons in Headington lead by Heather were extremely good estate agents and they all Genuinely wanted to sell our house and were extremely professional.
Sale and rental experience
I have used Hamptons both for a sale and rental. The sales team In Alton Hampshire were awful. They disregarded my instructions, were patronising and rude to me and liaised with the buyer without informing me. Some of their actions behind my back almost collapsed the sale. I felt pressurised to accept an offer. The whole experience was something I never want to repeat. In terms of the rental, they refused to problems with the property despite repeated requests and then charged me for the repairs from my deposit. Absolutely dishonest.

Danish in the property management team quickly resolved some issues we had with the house we are renting. His communication was great and he looked to resolve them as soon as he could, following up to make sure they were resolved with the contractor.

I recently moved into a rental property in Iver in August 2025, managed by Hamptons – Gerrards Cross Lettings, and the entire experience has been exceptionally honest, smooth, and professional.
From the very beginning, Jake Finch provided outstanding support. He was my first point of contact and demonstrated honesty, professionalism, and genuine care throughout the entire process. From the initial viewing to the final move-in, he communicated clearly, answered every question with patience, and ensured that every step was handled efficiently and effectively. His positive attitude and commitment to delivering a reliable service made the whole transition significantly easier. Jake’s approach truly stands out and reflects very well on Hamptons.
The property manager, Andzelika Pilewska, has also been remarkable. She is extremely efficient, organised, and highly responsive. Every issue or query I have raised has been resolved quickly and without the need for any reminders. Her professionalism and attention to detail give a strong sense of reassurance, and it is clear that she takes great pride in providing excellent service and support to tenants. Her ability to manage matters promptly and smoothly has made settling into the property much more comfortable.
I am genuinely pleased that I chose this property, especially knowing that it is supported by such capable and dedicated individuals. I truly appreciate the efforts of both Jake and Andzelika for ensuring that the process was well managed and that any concerns were promptly addressed.
