Customer service is excellent, the service charges are reasonable. I will suggest others to use their services.

Ordered a sim card and paid online one day before the pick up date. And then I chose the pick up location at Haneda Airport. Although the counter at Haneda said the computer was not working at that time, I am able to pick up my sim card at Narita airport later the same day.

The activation process is very quick and simple. Data plan is expensive but everything is good if you just need it to make phone calls.

I've been back from Japan for almost month now, so this review is long overdue but I would definitely recommend this provider if you must require a JP number for reservations or any ticket lotteries.

Activation was smooth and easy to set up once you arrive in Japan. I was able to successfully register for ticketing apps without issue (for me in particular, Lawson I-tike, since I had planned to attend a concert and tickets were delivered to the number). I'm sure there are many other use cases for needing a JP number (Mercari, Rakuten, YA, etc...) and I am certain you won't run into any issues verifying your number as it's a legitimate 070, 080, or 090 number that shouldn't be flagged as spam! Lastly, the best part is that you can maintain and keep the same number for future travels for $8/yr, so no need to worry about losing account(s) attached to your number.

This is first time to use SIM card with voice call . I was looking for other companies to compare with. This doesn’t need a fee for activation and only cost you $8 USD to keep your number is good. I haven’t use it but it looks so easy to activate SIM card when we get to there.

I'm korean traveler who loves Japan. With this Hanacell USIM, I can access to many Japanese-only services, such as ticket services(Lawson ticket,
Ticketpia, E-plus, Movie ticket, TOHO CINEMA....). This time, I reserved my movie ticket in Ikebukuro, and it was very convenient. I could also download convenient store applications(Lawson, 7/11) and get some discount for my onigiri. I'm going to reserve concert ticket next time. Recommend for people who plans to visit japan later.
