I ORDERED SOME CURRENT WHICH I WAS PROMISED FOR TODAY, RECEIVED NO PHONE CALL, TRAVELLED TO PICK IT UP WHEN I GOT THERE IT THEY HADN'T GOT IT.
I RECEIVED NO NOTIFICATION, AWFUL SERVICE, I ALWAYS GET MY CURRENCY FROM YOU, BUT I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.
STAFF WASNT EVEN BOTHERED.

Big thank you to H & T been looking for a plain band wedding ring for quite a while spotted what I was looking for and purchased simply - delivered promptly and was actually polished immaculately - so pleased will definitely use in future

I bought a watch from H&T and now it turns out it had been stolen!
I've had the watch for 9 years and when I came to trade it in with a different company last week as part of their buying process they checked on the Watch Register and it had been logged as stolen in August 2016 by the insurance company that paid out on it.

I bought it from H&T over a year later in Dec 2017. So why did H&T buy in an obviously stolen watch and then re-sell it?

So the watch is now confiscated and despite both me and the original reporting insurance company contacting H&T to resolve the issue all we are getting is no help and no urgency and radio-silence from Customer Services. As a result I'm without my watch and out at the moment a considerable sum of money. So obviously I'm not at all happy.

Prospective buyers - please learn from my experience, and be warned although H&T profess to be a member of safer selling schemes and trade bodies that say their members carry out suitable checking into the provenance of goods being bought - seems like they weren't done on this watch, as when I purchased the watch I asked and was assured by the salesperson it had been checked, it now looks like I was lied to.

Very good service from the Huyton branch Liverpool

I placed an order for euros on website today which was very straight forward and was given a collection time of pm today.

I received the best euro rate in the local area by going on line and completing the areas required on the drop down sections.

On visiting the branch at Grimsby I spoke with the branch manager who dealt with me in a polite, professional manner being discreet with my order and questions put to me as other persons were in the branch at the time.

I received my euros and paperwork in a swift timely manner.

I always use the local branch in Grimsby due to the staff that work there, always a pleasure.

I had an excellent experience thanks to Dovilė Kriščiūnienė. She provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The whole process was smooth, and I felt valued as a customer throughout. Waiting for supervisor to call me…. I have been using H & T for many years. Yesterday’s experience was bad. I only got 1.13 when they advertised 1.15. The assistant said the computer was causing problems and she could not adjust it. The advertising lighted board wasn’t working correctly and giving an even higher rate. A right fiasco. Please call me supervisor.
I asked the customer service lady if she understood why I was anoyed. Her reply ‘Not really’. I give up.

Payment Portal not fit for purpose!! I recently pawned an item for £300 which is quite high for me and I usually like to pay my pledges off quickly. Since they've updated their system ive not been able to log in as it keeps saying your acct is locked. Despite re-registering and changing my password. On Monday I managed to get in but then it said i needed a code which would be given in branch if I showed valid photo id. I went to my local branch and the assistant had no clue what I was talking about saying they already had my id on the system eventually giving me the 0800 customer service number. I then spoke to a lady on Thursday after resetting my password again and getting temporary locked message. She admitted other customers had called with this issue and they've not been given any further advice on what to do. But would log a complaint on my behalf and could take my payment over the phone. H&t This is simply not good enough and is actually a barrier and a huge inconvenience to your customers and the business as it also generates more calls. I have mobility issues and problems accessing the store. Ringing up to make payment is not always convenient. Also i get why the service is there but in the age of apps and self service these should also be an option. As it stands its costing me more money as im not able to easily see a visible total and have to keep doing mental arithmetic to keep up with my payments. As a money lender I dont think this is responsible behaviour.

When entering the store I felt at ease Aqata the assistant was very knowledgeable and I felt at ease with her during my visit.

Staff at Barnsley are great. Online portal for making payments is an absolute nightmare.
One minute- logged out.
Then - You don’t meet security credentials
Then- Manage to get logged on. After 30 seconds there is a security issue.
All I want is my goods back. All simple really. Pay and collect.

Hatfield branch the bird ain't got a clue and the boy in there ain't t got a back bone im pawning the same stuff still in the plastic what they gave me he gives me a price but yet the bird cant tell me if the golds 9k 14k or 18k so how do you give a price when you don't know the k

No words to describe how pleased I am with my diamond ring. The service was excellent, and the ring itself is beyond timeless and elegant. I also ringed H&T as I was worried the item had not been delivered, and the lady was incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I have ordered another diamond ring, and simply cannot wait for its arrival. I definitely recommend this company if one wants to purchase beautiful rings. Thank you.
