HG was hired to do garden work. I have never seen such shoddy work and after such poor, rushed work they insisted I pay over £1,000. The 3x3.5 concrete layer is uneven and has holes. My shed was mounted on it using broken left over sticks to balance ita, the sleepers were left unsecured and therefore now loose and the rest of the job was pretty much the same. What should have taken 1.5 days took two weeks. They would not respond to correcting their workers errors insisting they were professional. I invited them to place the evidence I sent to them, on their website, if they really believed the work was of good professional standard. Of course they did and would not. I was harrassed and told I was being "ridiculous". At no point did they accept fault or offer to respectfully meet the standard they claim. Their website does not portray what I received. Rather than take the risk of hit and miss work, please be watchful of who you hire at every point. Service being paid for should be consistent for everyone and not deliberately sloppy for others.

I booked this company to tidy up my garden (North London). They never turned up and I was only advised that they weren't coming when I chased (by email as the phone goes to voicemail). Whilst I was wasting my time waiting for them, I did a more thorough check of the reviews - and now I feel I've had a lucky escape!

Todd and his assistant did a wonderful job in my back garden. I had old shrubs looking really scary that no one touched for years hence there was a lot of clearance involved. The site was left very clear and guys made sure that all my requests were completed. All aspects of the cost ie the split between labour and waste removal were covered at the stage of initial quote and the job was competitively priced.

Todd and his assistant did an excellent job. They evened out the soil and then relayed and grouted the garden paving stones. They were clean, tidy and courteous. Highly recommend them and would use them again.

An incredible service. Thorough professional and well organised . Cleared up really well and ensured all the pruning was done properly with shrubs and climbers reshaped and cut back ahead of spring.

Todd and his assistant did a brilliant job transforming sad, winter, landscaped front and back gardens into something of their former beauty by expertly pruning multiple David Austin Roses, mowing and edging the lawn expertly, clearing all the leaves away, and taking away all the green waste. All this in just 2 hours, and it was competitively priced. It gives me great pleasure to look out on the garden now. They were also extremely polite, worked quickly and efficiently, and willing to please. It was obvious they took a pride in their work.
The booking process, handled by Mia, and phone updates from Maggie were friendly and efficient.
I am glad I have, at last, found reliable gardeners to replace our original gardener. I will use them for ongoing maintenance and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great garden work today by Todd. Two trees trimmed down, climbers removed, and general garden tidy up. It was a big job and they worked quickly and efficiently. They really went over and above!

The quote given was in line with their competitors, but the final costs were far higher. Green waste removal is on top and ended up more than doubling my quote (when other companies include it). They also billed for twice as many hours as they took until I asked for this to be corrected.

The purpose of a quote is to estimate the costs involved, that isn't done very effectively when most of the charges come on top of that. I wouldn't use them again, but if you do, I'd read the quote very carefully and double check the final bill is accurate as you're likely to end up paying much more.

Booked Handygardeners on a long shot and on a rainy Sunday morning Vladi and Ilian turned up on time and were very friendy, professional and did a great job of clearing and trimming despite the rain.
Work was done very well and they cleared up after themselves. I am very pleased with the service and the professionalism they showed.
A little pricy but in line with the area and it was worth it.

Bad service. Poor workmanship, instead of trimming back they managed to kill several bushes but completely over trimming. Don’t know how to cut back plants, just attack them with power tools. Dreadful. When clearing away, they also took items they shouldn’t have taken. Over priced and poor quality. Don’t use this company. Total con artists.

We called Handygardeners to relawn our garden. Todd did a fantastic job. He was fast, efficient, professional and the garden looks great now. The company’s admin people are very nice and costumer friendly.

Despite the rain, Vladi and Tony did an excellent job trimming the ivy and tidying up the garden of waste and weeds. They are hard working and very reliable and I would highly recommend them. I am so very pleased with how the garden looks now. Thank you Vladi and Tony!

Keiran and Antonio attended to my extremely overgrown garden, they cut back trees, cut my large hedge cleared all rubbish, plenty of sacks! They we're both extremely professional courteous nothing was a problem. Garden looks great, now I can maintain. I would recommend and use gardener's again. Thanks so much.

I chose Handy Gardeners to undertake some work in my front and back gardens. It was easy to get a quote and to arrange for the work to be done. They were professional and reliable in all respects. Todd did an amazing job with great skill and charm. I would have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them.

I've got to say I am truly impressed with the hard work and the out come of the front garden. Wish I could share a before and after photo. Vladi and his colleague were really nice and professional and worked extremely hard. Nothing was too much for them and very accommodating.
