GabyLu responded almost immediately to my enquiry and worked with our time difference to ensure I was contacted exactly when I asked to be. She was helpful, knowledgeable and worked to find me the perfect 2-day trip to the Cloud Forest to enhance my upcoming break. Great bookin experience
We've now booked our honeymoon to the Galapagos via Happy Gringo thanks to the help of Jonathan. He has been very helpfull all a long of the booking, with great recommandations and has organised a wonderful plan for our trip in September. We are very much looking forward to it. Cotopaxi experience
We had an amazing day visiting Cotopaxi. Andries is a great guide. He was v helpful and encouraging as we made the walk up to the refuge on Cotopaxi, which is a challenging but so well worth doing. He gave us lots of information about the area. This is an excellent tour and one of the highlights of our Ecuador trip.

A Happy Gringo Fan - AGAIN
We had such a great experience on the Galapagos trip we booked 10 years ago through Happy Gringo that we went back through them for our upcoming trip in December '25 to the Amazon rainforest trip in Ecuador. We generally don't use travel agencies but liked the fact that Happy Gringo works with 'local' providers that offer adventure experiences in South America and they know all the ins and outs. You get a lot of personal attention from knowledgable and friendly agents who will give you as much handholding that you need or want when planning a 'Trip of a Lifetime.' The process is seamless from booking through payment.

Lifelong dream Galapagos trip coming true!!!
We have booked our lifelong dream trip to Galapagos with assistance from Dave at Happy Gringo and he has been a pleasure to deal with from the start. Normally I am a hands on, do it myself trip planner, but for Galapgos I was overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. I also wanted to ensure I was dealing with Ministry of Tourism certified companies and was unsure how to verify this independently. Dave has taken all the stress away in planning trip, booked every detail including hotels, inter-island transfers (flights and ferries), tours and our yacht trip. He offered us several options to customize our trip, staying within our budget range, and always provided excellent and timely responses. He answered all of our questions as they came up (and I was probably a bit of a pest at times with my constant inquiries!).
