Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 126 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the products to be of poor quality, often describing them as cheap costume jewelry rather than the advertised precious metals. People frequently reported that items did not resemble the online advertisements, with some even comparing them to contents from a Christmas cracker. The pricing was also a major concern, as many felt they paid excessive postage for items that were essentially worthless or could be found much cheaper elsewhere. Reviewers also noted issues with orders and delivery, including items not arriving, or being shipped from China despite claims of being made in the UK. Some people also felt that the company's promotions, offering

FAKE SCAM FAKE SCAM FAKE

FAKE SCAM FAKE SCAM FAKE SCAM
Ordered several pieces including an emerald cross necklace which was advertised as gold but when it arrived it said stainless steel. I also ordered a sapphire & diamond gold ring but the sapphire is plastic. All items were cheap looking and not as advertised and the ring certainly doesn't come in a box in fact the packaging is exactly the same as you expect from Temu or Shein.
The advert stated that the store was closing the sunday beginning of May yet here we are weeks later and they are still advertising and selling crap cheap jewellery and stating they are closing down "this Sunday" Shipping was £15 per item. Avoid and don't fall for the scam like so many have.

SCAM

SCAM, SCAN, SCAM. I ordered a FREE pendant (worth £179 😆). Postage cost £13.95 for a tiny item and took 2 weeks to arrive. When I finally unknotted the chain it wouldn’t fit through the loop. Very cheap product

Supposed closing down sale

Placed and order on their closing down sale. Luckily it was for postage only. Supposed to have arrived 2 days ago but so far nothing. Keep getting emails from them now still advertising and they were supposed to have closed down 5 days ago. Possibly a scam.

Cheap tat advertised and sold as quality

Well I have to give them a rating so 1 star it is, Like so many others I've fallen for this scam however there is hope about getting a refund.

A refund well sort of firstly anyone who has paid using their debit card contact your bank so they can block any further transactions being made by them. Secondly you can open a dispute with the bank and they'll look to recover the funds / credit your account.

Even if the goods have arrived going by other reviews the items received are not of the quality expected or have fallen apart then a dispute is the way forward.

For anyone who hasn't ordered anything please don't as its a scam and pretty convincing one at that.

Harrison & James

Harrison & James – 1/5 Stars ⚠️ FULL SCAM ALERT – DO NOT TRUST

STAY AWAY – THIS IS A FAKE SCAM WEBSITE, NOT A REAL JEWELRY STORE

I’m writing this to warn everyone before anyone gets tricked into losing money or giving away personal details. I haven’t bought anything, but I’ve looked at every part of this site, and it is 100% a scam. Here’s exactly how they’re lying to you:

🚩 EVERY RED FLAG – PROOF IT’S FAKE

• “Closing after 46 years” = TOTAL LIE – The website was only registered a few weeks/months ago. A real business that’s been running 46 years would have an old domain, real history, and proper records. This site is brand new — they just made up the story to sound trustworthy.

• “EVERYTHING FREE” = CLASSIC SCAM BAIT – Look at the prices: £0.00 on everything. They say it’s a thank-you gift for customers… but you still have to pay shipping/fees. That’s exactly how these scams work: they charge you £10–£30 “shipping”, you pay, and you get nothing at all. No jewelry, no reply, no refund.

• Fake owners & fake photo – The photo of the elderly couple “Marie James” is a stock image you can find online. They are not real people, this is not a real family business. No real company name, no UK registration number, no physical address, no phone number — only a generic email form so you can never reach them.

• All gold jewelry – all fake – The items look nice, but they’re just stolen photos from real brands. You will never get what you see — if anything arrives, it’s cheap, thin, gold-plated rubbish worth pennies, nothing like the pictures.

• Zero real reviews – You won’t find them on Trustpilot, Google, or anywhere. All “testimonials” on their site are made up. Trust scores are rock-bottom — every safety tool marks them as high-risk scam.

How they trick you

They use the emotional story: “46 years, closing down, everything free as a thank you”. It sounds nice, makes you want to trust them… but it’s all scripted to make you enter your card details and pay “shipping”. Once you pay, you never hear from them again.

✅ FINAL VERDICT

Harrison & James = SCAM. It is not a real jewelry shop, it’s not closing down, and nothing is free — they just want your money and details.

DO NOT ORDER. DO NOT PAY. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS OR CARD INFO.

Please share this warning — don’t let anyone fall for this fake “free jewelry” trick.

Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Waited over 3 weeks for delivery and not worth the wait. I will say that Sophie on their customer service was very nice helpful and polite. However Sophie I think you deserve to work for a proper company and not this scam.

At the price offered

At the price offered, i knew it was fake, but expected a good quality costume ring. The suggested retail price is reflective of proper materials and stones, i'm not that daft. I recieved the ring 23 days after ordering, considering you ONLY pay for postage at that price it should have been days. Yrs the ring looked good, but despite ordering the correct size, was 2 sizes too small. It did fit on the pinky finger so whilst not for the intended digit, i could still wear it. After a few days 4 fake stones fell out then one dsy whilst washing my hands the ring seperated (it was one of those spinning rings) and whilst i have the base of the ring i have nothing else, it broke.
The one star i leave is because no negative stars are available

I wouldn't even give it 1 star if I had the option. THIS IS A SCAM and does not look like jewellery that would cost £179, especially if your finger turns green after wearing it!!! Do not waste your money as delivery is near £60!!!!
