A smart operation. Surveyed and installed in a few days. The installation engineer arrived on time with the new boiler. it was fitted the same day and it works.

Fitters were subcontractors who said they couldn't fit the thermostat for the boiler but an electrician would be along same day, noone turned up so had to chase Homeserve. Electrician arrived 5 days later. New boiler all fine now though

When I needed a new boiler in a hurry I contacted Help-Link regarding a quote they had sent me last year. I was really impressed with the way they were able to help me and arrange installation in a few days.
The installation was carried out in a really good and professional manner. The guy that did the job was quick,helpful and did a great job.
Had a problem a few days later so needed to arrange for someone to come out and check the system. I made an appointment but needed to change it.
This is where my problem lies. The staff that I spoke too were all very good and helpful. The problem is with the systems. I was passed to 3 different people and eventually told that the person I was speaking to could not cancel the appointment. So why was I put through? Was told I would get a call back but had to call again in order to speak to someone who could re-arrange the existing appointment.
Product, installation and staff are excellent just let down by not very good admin process.

All great - boiler fitter really nice and helpful. I can't get the thermostat to work via my phone though (the light won't switch on) but will phone for assistance.

The service relating to my new boiler supply and installation went very smoothly from the initial home advice through to final installation.Time schedules were set and adhered to and were carried out promptly and efficiently.
A receipt for the initial 30% deposit and full payment a few days after completion, imo, should have been made - I had to request clarification on his point.
However, generally speaking I am well satisfied with the Help- Link staff that I dealt with and will use this service again

Disasterous service from start to finish. Impossible to get through to anyone who knew anything on the phone. Was promised callbacks several times but was not called back (in fact I am still waiting for a call back - good job i arranged for the installation problems to be fixed myself or I would still be without heating and hot water). It was totally unacceptable to be without heating ang hot water for 10 days and no-one seemed to care about this. I am looking forward to a response to my complaint, but won't be holding my breath.

Where do i start. From the date of installation the engineer turned up late said he was sent the job by homeserve at the last minute.
When fitted, i could smell gas leaking for two days. Decided to contact homeserve again. The inspector arrived at my home and realised the boiler was resting on the pipe, that caused the joints to leak and that was why i was smelling gas.
Once that was corrected I had heat for two days then one evening i could not feel know heat at all.Again i had to use electric heaters to keep the house warm, contacted homeserve they got in touch with helplink to arrange for an engineer to come out to sort the problem waited and still know one got in touch, instead a manager called and apologised for what had happened, said helplink will get touch, lost a day off work waiting and still know one has got in touch. When i decided to call homeserve to complain about know one getting in touch i was put through to two different depts, and once put through to the right dept they said their was nothing on their system about an engineer coming out to see me.I have now gone down the complaint route.
Will not be staying with Homeserve after this. So disappointed. My mum is also with homeserve, she won't be staying with them after this.
I've just had a response from homeserve as me to contact them on a 0808 number just rang explained to the person that answered the phone and he said " i don't know what to do with your call i only work on reception" I then disconnected the call and i will be takeing this too the ombudsman. Not good enough. Why ask me to respond and then been told i don't know what to do with the call I only work on reception""

Survey and quote provided by Mark was excellent. Installation was fine. One small problem was fixed by Charlie the following day. Was impressed by him.
But despite reminders, still nothing on a servicing plan.
Otherwise all good.

Let's see where do I begin !! Engineer turned up bang on time as did the new boiler only for the engineer to tell me he couldn't fit new boiler as the old boiler needed to be removed by asbestos team first which should of Been arranged for the same time but technical dept failed to organise it even tho it was added to the job just so took 2 days off work for nothing plus put child up in hotel cos suffers from asthma and didn't want her getting loads of dust on chest !! Attempt 2 engineer came to do the job so did asbestos removal team happy days so job went ahead only for them to leave gaping hole in ceiling for inspection hatch and was told take 2 weeks for joiner to come to do that job still waiting plus they removed outside flue which was to be left in place and now trying charge me extra for job which didn't need doing !! Plus when removed flue as soon as it rained roof started leaking so when rang to get that sorted they said would be a week for joiner so sent engineer who bodged the job with plastic bag and gaffer tape which his not his fault as he is not a joiner or roofer . Engineers were friendly and spot on its the people who pull the strings who aint got a clue !!! Ps still waiting for job to be finished with no communication to say when going finish the job but quick enough to ring when want charge you extra for jobs they did off their own backs

Very good service and installation. We made an inter net enquiry late Sunday evening, surveyor / estimator vistied following Thursday, agreed installation required with full explanation of works to be completed and possible time this would take. The surveyor booked in the installation and confirmed start time which was to be the following Thursday at 8am, we received confirmation call a couple of days before, engineer turned up exactly at 8am and finished at 5pm, all compete. Very good communications and service.

Person who came out and did survey amazing 10 out of 10. Then had an engineer who didn't wanna do the work so he left and person who did survey stepped in and sorted it. 1 man came when I was told 2 were booked and he didn't stop moaning about the job. Ripped all the bedroom carpet and the hall carpet and got my tenant to sign disclaimer when I was there. Boiler pipes and filter are not as neat as I was lead to belive and will be difficult to disguise. Electrician went back into bedroom on second day and pulled all the carpet up and when asked if it will all be put back he had attitude and said "I'm just here to do this!" All got finished and boiler works well but I don't know what I'm paying monthly and yesterday I was sent a bill that doesn't match anything I have purchased.
