Since 1989, we have been providing compassionate, person-centred care at home to individuals across the UK. Our journey started in a small house in Warwickshire, and today, we have over 150 branches across the country. This growth has allowed us to extend our exceptional care and make a bigger difference while allowing our customers to remain in the place they love. Our carers are kind and compassionate individuals who always go the extra mile. They are fully trained to provide the highest level of care, no matter what condition you are living with. We are also recognised for delivering specialist dementia care, a service we have enhanced through our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society. This has allowed us to provide our carers with dementia training to help support our customers living with different types of dementia. Our service is fully regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. We are proud to have received an overall rating of GOOD, and the CIW reported that our carers go “above and beyond, doing things that are ‘not on the list’.

Good, flexible (within reason) service. The increase in advance notice requirements for change/cancellation has been a degradation and has not helped to work around short notice medical appointments. Not receiving the following week's schedule mid afternoon on a Friday does not allow for any changes for the following week. However I am very happy with the service provided.
Some carers suit me far better than others and having given details to the office they do tend to meet my requirements. Since my strength has returned (somewhat) and I am able to do more for myself I do prefer to have more proactive carers who can spot my personal assistance requirements and where I need help around the house (Michelle, Vicky and Mirelle especially are good, kind, caring and cheerful)
Not sure that I like this method of using Trustpilot for reviews, them being public and being chased to complete a review. Perhaps customer service could reconsider as I would have thought that many of your customers are older people.

Staff are always courteous and friendly. The report that my brother and I can see each week is informative and relative. We appreciate the 6 monthly face to face review that ensures we are all happy with the service.

I phone wigan branch for information about care for my sister only to be told that they was private care company and they said that I should contact adult services that was before I could ask them anything so I said I know who you are and told the person who seemed to be a very high managing director that I employed a care company for my sister and I was just wanting to know what helping hands prices for live in care would be l said that I paid £1750 per week and she told me thats about something on par on what we charge and she said its £1800 per week for helping hands company so I said thank you for that and I will have to a think about it. It’s seems to me that care company's only care about the money they can get didn’t even ask what if anything they could do to help. So my conclusion is that’s another care company off the list

Great service and support from professional care agency. Very friendly, helpful and thorough from the start. Confirmed 2-3 care visits per day for my Mum for meal prep and medication - all has gone very well with lovely carers.

The carers are helpful and understanding of my situation caring for my husband. The office staff are also supportive of when I have to move care around and understand that my husband will only accept certain carers.

The Helping Hands branch in Darlington have provided my Mum with a reliable and friendly service in keeping with the agreements they have made with us in the first instance. Each team member have made good relationships with my Mum and when necessary have communicated with us to alert us of any concerns beyond which they have followed through on how to address these. on occasions they have gone out of their way to ensure my Mum's care and safety, which has been extremely helpful to us all.
Their support to my Mam, has enabled my husband and I to return home after we had relocated to live with her in the first instance after her needs became significant.
Their attentive care has given us peace of mind and we are assured of her ability to remain living in her own home for as long as possible which is her primary wish.

I have been a client for 18 months and I am very happy with the service and the reliability of Helping Hands. My regular carer, visiting for 2 hours every Wednesday, is outstanding and instinctively knows the tasks I need help with. I would recommend Helping Hands to anyone who just needs support at home.
