I purchased a sopranino saxophone mouthpiece directly from the Selmer website because they were offering a free ligature. I received the mouthpiece, but no ligature, despite having sent two emails requesting one (with no response). I expected much different behavior from a well-known company like Selmer: I don't think they need to save some euros for a ligature, which was promised on the website and then never shipped. I've purchased three Selmer saxophones and numerous Selmer mouthpieces in my life, so I'm very disappointed.

Addendum 28.08.25 : Selmer write me today that the free ligature will be shipped ! So now 5 stars.

Usually the delivery is very quick but in this instance, the item was stuck in the Paris airport for a week. Also the packaging was not very effective. When the parcel arrived the box was partially crushed. Luckily the contents in this instance was not affected. I have photos of the both boxes I can send you. I bought a box of Selmer Jazz tenor saxophone reeds and non of the five reeds played well. In addition, I doudt the reed strength chart is too inaccurate to be usefull. I normally play D'addario Select Jazz 3H and Selmer's 3.5 was clearly harder. The reed cutter that I also purchased is good.

The shirt definitely does not even come close to fitting. 😞 the 2xl fits more like a Large or maybe a XL but definitely too small to be considered a 2xl.

Ordered a custom engraved nameplate guard that came free with my recently bought saxophone. Very good customer service.

I hope it can sound good with other reed brands...but i may still order Selmer reeds soon

We didn't received our order

The bass clarinet reeds with strength n° 3 were perfect in strength comparable to Vandoren tradional, V12 & V21 and to consider. I prefer reeds with a lighter strength, I can still work on that.
The clarinet reeds n° 3 were a disappointment for me. Those reeds were comparable to a strength comparable to Vandoren traditional n° 3.5 and therefore unusable for me.

I hope to buy Tenor mouth piece and Soprano mouthpiece in Concept series. Please make limited edition mouthpiece version for the Soprano. Then I definetely buy it.
