Like others, I have been trying to contact Callum for an annual maintenance for weeks. No response at all. I reckon he is dropping individual customers for business, which is his prerogative but it would have been polite to inform us. After all, we supported him when he was setting up his business and were used to get his business up and running.

Echoing what the other 1 star reviews say. My alarm has a flashing warning light saying a service is required so have left messages and sent emails but they never respond. I pay a significant monthly fee for maintenance and monitoring and this is completely unprofessional.

Moved into a home with an alarm system installed and maintained by HS, despite numerous efforts to register myself as the new home owner I get no reply.

Our Henson Security contact doesn't respond to any emails, texts or voicemails. I get an automated message back that says he is on a call. We have now left the company after being with them for years as this is the fourth time we have to chase to get an annual service. This is unacceptable to have to repeatedly call the main office and his direct number with no results. Very frustrating as this used to be a solid company. AVOID.

No response to calls whatever. Not recommended in any way. 4, 5 star reviews in one day. Make your own mind up but I simply don't believe them. Avoid.
Phones, messages, emails unanswered
I have been diligently paying my monthly direct debit for full maintenance. My alarm is due for its annual service visit but [x] doesn't answer his phone, messages or emails. All of the '24 hour support numbers' actually just go to his mobile. AVOID.

Kian installed my alarm for us
Kian installed my alarm for us, he was very knowledgeable and patient whilst we understood how it worked and the app, its all very easy to use once we understood it. Thank you
Aftercare non existent
We used Henson Security (Callum) to take over our alarm system in 2017 based on their competitive pricing, then managed to get a service in 2020, less than a year later we experience some problems and I attempted to contact Calum / Henson Security with no luck - zero replies to emails, texts, they have no voicemail but had a personal assistant service who took our details but we never heard back. After this point we stopped using the alarm. Fast forward to 2024 and issues have arisen again where batteries need replacing and alarm happens to go off regularly in the middle of the night. Although I thought the company had gone out of business I tried again hoping for more luck and also saw some recent reviews. Same experience trying to get any response, I once managed to get Callum on the phone after many tries and said I’d call him back to arrange a date, tried calling, emailing, texting and no pick up - even my partner tried but no luck. He did respond via text saying he would call me later that week to help but didn’t.
In summary, they do not respond to any emails, text messages, or phone calls, it's impossible to get any follow-up support or resolve issues that arise. The lack of communication and support is incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend Henson Security/Callum to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive service.
Don’t waste your time getting sucked in with their cheaper quotes as the after care does not exist and you'll be stuck with an alarm that goes off randomly with no way of resolving it and still end up calling a separate company with additional cost to take over the alarm service.

Quick to reply and the quote was reasonable. The works were completed out of hours and we hadn’t even noticed the works were done other than the new reader and lock on the door.

I’ve had my alarm for a few years now. Always been impressed with the service provided. Callum and Kian are always on time, kind and friendly. They are very efficient and always tidy up after. Nothing is ever a problem. Communication is always spot on. Very grateful for the service that you provide. Have recommended to friends on many occasions and will continue to recommend. Thanks guys

Excellent alarm install
Henson Security installed an alarm for me after I was worried about a rise in burglaries in the area. They provided a really reasonable quote compared to another company I had around. Installed an alarm in my home with sensors, key pad alarm and window alarms. I’m so happy with the install, it was quick, tidy and has given me peace of mind. Thank you so so much to the team, who were so knowledgeable and friendly. Coming up with clever ways to conseal the keypad and giving me an app where I can set the alarm form anywhere in the world. I’ve had the alarm for over a year now and had no problems at all.
