same team as behind the sms-activate service. sms-activate decided to do exit scam so they claimed the shutdown of the service and only 30+ $ balance could be withdrawed. balances with less than 30$ were forced to transfer to hero-sms with the only option : "promocode". then. user cant withdraw funds transferred to hero-sms service, as they were credited as "promocode".
so they stoled thousands users funds. pure scam.

SMS-Activate is closing and recommends HeroSMS as "alternative", but refuses to transfer my balance (5.455 USD, ID 10160627) because "separate company".I created HeroSMS account (ID 451937, ), but no way to get my money from old service.This feels like a scam: money disappears during shutdown without clear prior warning about minimums or transfers. EU users deserve transparency!Avoid until they fix payouts for small balances from SMS-Activate migrants.

Great but Missing key feature from SMS-Active!
This is a great alternative to SMS-Activate; however, it is missing an important feature. Please consider add back the network operator selection option, as I specifically need UK phone numbers from the Three network and there is currently no way to select a network operator.

sms-activate.io was shut down and users were told that their balances would be transferred to a “new platform”.
I was a VIP user and had around $20 balance in my account.
Since the shutdown, support has been constantly delaying with generic responses and no real action.
They now redirect users to a so-called new site called hero-sms.com.
The biggest red flag: every time you try to deposit crypto, they give a different wallet address, with no user-specific memo, tag, or automatic transaction matching system.
Technically, this makes it impossible for them to reliably know which user deposited what amount, unless everything is handled manually.
Support is only available via Telegram and keeps saying “wait” without any proof or timeline.
Old balances are NOT transferred, and users are pushed to deposit again on the new site.
This strongly looks like an exit scam with rebranding.
I strongly warn former sms-activate users not to deposit any money into hero-sms.com.

SCAM ALERT: HeroSMS is just a rebrand of the dishonest SMS-Activate!
Do not trust this platform! HeroSMS is the "new" site launched by the same team behind SMS-Activate.io. They just shut down SMS-Activate and intentionally set an impossible $30 minimum withdrawal limit, effectively stealing balances from thousands of users (including my $9.26). They are forcing users to move here while holding our old funds hostage. This is a classic "exit scam" and rebrand tactic. Save your money and stay away from these thieves. They will take your deposit and close the site whenever they feel like it.
