Absolute scam! Three months and no product has arrived or been dispatched. Avoid!
I've had to wait months for my order and I've had to continually reach out to the company to see what's up with my order and they kept saying "oh, sorry, we will ship that right away". Another month, no product, another email. Same thing over and over and I still haven't received my order. Buy from somewhere else.

Over 2 months with no products received, all communication stopped after the first few weeks and only resumed when I logged a claim to refund through Paypal. Then I keep getting emails saying they will only refund if I remove my claim... nice try, absolute BS, avoid this "business".

These guys suck. I placed an order on 27/04/2024 and I'm still waiting 22/08/2024. Extremely poor communication and zero customer care. Even the slantboard guys tried to help me out without any success. Numerous emails on my part with little to no response. I asked for a refund but have heard zip. Out of pocket to the tune of $412.04. To top it off my order is apparently just sitting on a shelf (for weeks) waiting for them to post it. Get your act together.

Placed my Order 29th July 2024 still waiting after the 2 week dispatch timeframe. Asked for an update and didn't get much information if any. Possibly the slowest business I have ordered from. Still waiting and from the looks of the reviews I might end up waiting forever.......

I bought two items two months ago and still did not received them. Sent them emails and I was told they still waiting for some parts. Sent another emails asking for refunds and now they not replying to my emails anymore. After reading so many disappointing reviews I realised this Company is out to scams people. Please report your case to your local fraud authorities.

Happy with the equipment quality and ease of use. The Nordic Bar, ISOTIB-LT and Wrist Axe are all great additions to the training options at my gym.
Absolutely abysmal customer service. I placed an order in November of 2023. Heard absolutely nothing until I reached out to them in May of 2024 and they “lost” my package. They told me they’d get a new one made up brand new and ship it out ASAP. Another month and a half went by with no word until I followed up and called them out. Which finally kicked them in gear and I got a shipping notification for the first time since November. The package came in 3 days, full of rust, missing the most crucial piece of the sled (the entire reason I purchased it) and it came with an extra piece of equipment that I requested as compensation for the 6 month wait (and no they did not offer a refund or compensation until I called them out for it). I still have not received the piece required to pull the c4 sled after they told me they’d have it made up and shipped out, I’ve had to get custom work done as the bars are too short, AND they won’t reply to my emails now.
Do not ever support or buy from this company.

Again at month 2 same story and now they won't reply to my emails at all. Wish I'd read the reviews beforehand. If I don't hear anything I'm getting an ombudsman involved

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything in my life. Their lead time on the website said 3 weeks. With no communication up to week 4, I followed up to ask them what's going on. They said they are having a "technical issue to create overseas consignments" which sounds kinda silly but whatever okay. Yet again no communication for another 2.5 weeks until I follow up again. They reply it's not resolved yet but can send it via Australia Post this Friday if it's not resolved. At this point it has been almost 2 full months. Friday came, obviously I heard nothing. Followed up 4 almost a week later to ask them to send it, to which they replied they have sent it, without giving me a tracking number or dispatch notification. So obviously I knew they were lying and had to follow up AGAIN for a tracking number.
Each message I sent took between 2-5 days to get a response.
I finally received this package almost 3 full months from my order date, and it did not contain an essential bolt inside to use the product. I had to buy it from a hardware store because I'm not going to wait 3 months for a bolt.
They offered me $10 store credit, as if that's at all reasonable compensation waiting 3 months for this product, or that I'm ever going to purchase from them again.
Had I looked up reviews of HGG prior to ordering, I would have ordered from somewhere else without a second thought. Based on reviews it looks like their poor turnaround time is an ongoing problem, and they give everyone a garbage excuse on why their company sucks.
Don't make the same mistake I did.
HGG significantly misrepresents their dispatch timeframes. I placed an order that was supposed to have a 3-week turnaround. Three months later, I still haven't received the product. Their explanation is that there are shipping delays from their supplier, which may be true.
However, the real problem is that their website continues to advertise a 3-week dispatch time. They're selling products with the promise of quick delivery, knowing full well it isn't possible.
This deliberate deception of customers is what turns me off. I get they’re a business trying to make sales and less people are going to want to buy with a long lead time. But that’s a problem for the business to solve. Don’t just lie and put the burden of waiting on the customer. Its just so short sighted, like as if customers are going to be happy after being so obviously lied to.
The lack of transparency and false advertising make it impossible for me to recommend or support HGG. Potential customers should be aware of these practices before making a purchase.
Finally received my items today. It was worth the wait. Great quality.
I am sure as soon as the delivery time on check out 7-10 days versus the order actually being on preorder 3-4 weeks ordeal is sorted and made clearer on the website...HGG will be getting a lot better reviews. Fantastic product. Very glad I didn't cancel.
After my previous experience, Rimmy reached out to me. He told me that they had made some changes to their service infrastructure. I gave them another try and I do not regret it. The communication was great the items took about three weeks to arrive. The only time communications issues came from customs which is not HGG's fault, just a heads up for anyone important to be patient. I am happy with the product and the service I would definitely buy from them again. Great work!
Cannot fault them, I had 2 separate orders and they both arrived within the advised timeframe. There was a slight problem with 1 item (nothing major, I could still use the equipment) and it was rectified immediately. Fantastic quality, I'm already enjoying playing with the new toys! Great to be able to support an Aussie business killing it. I can see some people haven't had a 5 star experience, but everyone makes mistakes, so I urge you to give them a chance and reap the health rewards!
