The single biggest reason for frustration for an online customer of Happy Gaming World (HGW) will be their horrible after-sales support. This is not to completely discredit HGW by saying that they do not care. At the very least, their support personnel is polite. However, resolutions to issues come after inordinate delays, EVERY SINGLE TIME!
I have had multiple instances of delay in my case. In the first instance (faulty PS4 controller), I was told that it was due to a staff member being on medical leave. The whole episode took a little more than a month to be resolved. But yes, it was resolved. And they also shipped a second controller as compensation. However, during the period, nobody reached out to me or even answered my calls.
In the second instance, the refund for shipping back a hard drive (which was supposed to contain all the games that I had requested as part of my actual order, but wasn't sent) was issued after 20 days of multiple messages and calls.
In the third instance, when I sent back the hard drive to get back my security deposit of 1500/-, it took them a month from receiving the hard drive to process my refund. (And this only happened after writing a nasty review on Trustpilot)
In the fourth instance, when my PS4's internal 1 TB hard drive got corrupted, they replaced it with a 500 GB internal and a 500 GB external hard drive without informing me. The rationale for this move, according to them, was that 1 TB ones are more prone to failure. Notwithstanding the nonsensical rationale, this episode has shown me how broken their support system is. To top it off, I still haven't received the refund for the shipping charges for the pick up from my location as part of the warranty. Whenever I get through to them on this issue, they keep telling me that it will be credited by 8 PM EOD. I am still waiting for 8 PM. (Edit: 24 days after the first request and a few days after posting this review, I have received the refund)
Should you buy from HGW?

If you live close to their physical store, then perhaps yes. In-person visits may speed up the resolution process.
However, if, like me, you live away and only have access to their online store and support, DO NOT purchase anything from them. Anybody who has anything worthwhile to do in their life SHOULD NOT be spending so much time on fixing things that shouldn't have been broken in the first place or running around for refunds.
What's the easiest way to get a response from HGW?

In my experience with HGW, sharing your legitimate concerns at Trustpilot, along with a bad rating, is the only foolproof way of making their customer support team do something. Otherwise, I do not think the team has enough manpower or a proper system in place to handle the volume of queries they receive.

Two purchases. Total disappointment. Zero or half stars is what I want to give it. But there's no option for that.
My previous review has been taken down by them as I cannot see it when I try to access it online. That shows how transparent and accountable they are. Offline they might be good, but I do not have a personal experience, so friends, purchase at your own peril. But I can tell you with certainty, their online service is incompetent at all levels except at their payment gateway and their website design which gives a so-called professional look to unsuspecting victims.
Purchase number 1:
I bought an OLED switch from them. But what they advertised online is not what they provided. after purchase when I tried to contact them, they did not reply immediately. They took their own sweet time to reply and even in that, those replies have not been adequate or helpful to me in anyway. But since they replied they seem to call that inadequate response a service. And to top that they call their delayed service unintentional due to lack of personnel. If unintentional, why do they publicize false advertising in their timelines on service and response?
A pathetic service is what they provide, and they know it. For the OLED switch, they said they would schedule a pickup through one of their representative Mr. Rupnarayanan. That also has not yet happened. It has been nearly a year. I do not think that pickup is going to happen.
They lie a lot.
After payment. Their true colors come out. They are like an Angel of light.
The second purchase was a psn india card. They advertised instant WhatsApp delivery if purchased during working hours. Knowing their nature from my previous encounter, immediately after purchase I sent their sales Representative Mr. Rishi Agarwal a msg telling him to keep his company's promise of instant delivery or at the very least delivery within a few hours or that day. There were no replies. But after the working hours were over, an automated reply came from this person to contact during working hours. This is what they are. I tried contacting via phone thereafter. But there was no reply whatsoever. Not on WhatsApp calls or messages, nor on SMS and nor on regular calls through cellular network. They maintained radio silence for the day. Do not buy online from this group. They are incompetent and will make your life miserable instead of happy. It's an irony that their website is called happy gaming world and they claim that providing gaming through their platform is their passion. If this is how they treat their passion I shudder to think how they treat other things on a personnel level. It's not their passion. It's just that they advertise that Gaming is their passion so that really passionate people can fall in their trap and then make a purchase they will regret.
happy gaming world does not make Gaming a happy experience for you, instead it makes Gaming miserable for those who purchase from them. This is my online experience. I do not know about offline service.
Edit- After posting publicly about the above issues attempts were made to right the wrongs.. I am happy with that..but a public outcry shouldn't be necessary for proper customer service..

My friend order a game console from them it stopped working in few days and then my friend tried to call them and get the replacement, they did not respond for month and later they did replace the console.
Funny part that new console did even start on connect with tv and now again the same issue no sure what kind of service they provide, they say they are not fraud, after reading so many comments and so many failed promises it look like they are

First of all, if you’re planning to buy a new console, I highly recommend visiting a store and purchasing it in person.
Initially, I ordered a PS4 Slim (jailbroken, 2TB with 30 games), but after 3 weeks, the seller informed me it would take even longer. So, I decided to cancel or switch to a PS5 instead.
They then offered me a brand-new PS5 Slim with the seal intact and a 1-year Indian warranty. However, when I received the package, it turned out to be the Fortnite Edition — something I never ordered.
Worse, the seal had been tampered with, and it was obvious they had removed the Fortnite redeem code before shipping. Thankfully, I recorded a video while unboxing for proof. I’m still in the process of figuring out what exactly happened and whether this was an honest mistake or something else.”

Actually first I thought this website is good but after paying 500 confirmation fees for PS4 slim that I ordered they tell me that they will deliver my order in 10-12 days but after they told my order is delayed and it takes 7-10 days again I have ordered on 7 june 2025 july has started but I haven't received my order PS4 slim was my childhood dream to buy please do something happy gaming world
Long story short, Don't trust their customer service and their check & buy policy. They won't let you check & buy, and they won't reply to your messages or answer your calls. I was incredibly frustrated with their service.
My Experience:
I have ordered a ps4 slim version with additional one year warranty from them with custom loaded games on 24th May and paid the initial deposit, but my order has been dragged through till 25th June. Other than the initial confirmation call which was answered perfunctorily after some 10 or so messages and missed calls, they never answered me ever again till 10th june on which I got an automated message saying sorry for the delay and my device is being prepared and I would receive it soon. I have called them and messaged them yet again to get the status and remind them regarding my custom games selection, but no response again. I even requested at least to send me a working snapshot of the device which again went ignored. All of this has been bugging me the whole time, but I still trusted their check & buy policy, which was the reason I have ever ordered from them. I got the call from xpressbees their delivery partner on 24th June and I promptly reminded them that I would check the contents of the package. They denied the request and said that the order was not a open package order and they won't allow me to check the package. I requested the delivery service to wait for a while and once again called and messaged hgworld service multiple times only to be ignored. At this point I was completely fed up. I spoke with the regional mangager of the delivery service and postponed the delivery by one more day to try my luck finally to see if I can get some kind of response from hgworld. But nope, they never responded. Mean while the next day the delivery service people called me multiple times during which I requested the same and they denied it even after I offered them to pay for the open package service. They finally just asked me to come and pick the order if I needed it and at this point I finally let it go and refused to pick it up. They lost my trust completely and I am not taking a risk to buy from someone with such pathetic service. I am sharing this here as the whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and emotionally exhausting and I hope no one else goes through the same.

I order one M33 game console from them , it stopped working 7 days after the use , I have complaint about it they picked up my entire game set, they replaced with new one and the new only also doesn't work and they are not reply at all now and not even picking up tha call.
