What a disappointment.
I’ve been installing gas boilers for over just a year now and Hiber has to be one of the worst companies I’ve worked alongside to try and take my company to the next level by being able to offer financial services.
To start with I’m not criticising the beginning of the signing up process as I had an amazing chap called Jayce who was helpful during the signup process to becoming an FCA-regulated company.
However, I am hugely disappointed at the lack of, extremely bad communication and awful rude manners of one particular individual whom I spoke to recently called Rebecca who claimed to be a district manager after I wanted to make a complaint.
I called to pick up on job that I was due to be paid out on Tuesday this week as I had called in a week in hand before for confirmation as to when I would get paid for it. I had no emails regarding when payment would be made to me as cash flow is extremely important for my business or any when having to pay wages and material costs, yet I was told from a lady that it would be Tuesday.

Which I checked when waking up. I called in the morning and spoke to Rebecca, who then said she would call me back as soon as possible due to having to speak to finance department to at which then five hours later in the afternoon I’d get a callback an hour before 16:00.
Upon this phone call Rebecca had said that there had been a mistake made from the previous lady the week when I’d called in to check before and that payment wasn’t due until Wednesday whilst speaking in such a horrendous tone. This has now cost me over £120 in direct debit failures on Tuesday due to awaiting the money to arrive to pay company bills otherwise I would have transferred money from the company savings but due to Hibers awful and misjudged communication, it had cost me money and put so much stress on me which was also very embarrassing let alone to be spoken to so rudely by Rebecca who showed little to no remorse and only offered a formal apology in such a rude and stuck up tone which I’ve recorded on a business phone call. Payment has only just been made today/Thursday so it didn’t arrive at stated on Wednesday either which wasn’t a surprise.
For what I’ve paid to use their services I’m hugely disappointed with how badly a company can treat small to medium-sized companies let alone having little to no manners with customer service, their app also doesn’t work and they don’t inform you of the fees when a customer takes out finance as I wasn’t updated on during the process of this particular job being paid out.

I have been using hiber for nearly a month now, and I couldn't be happier, customers love seeing you quote Infront of them so they can trust what your quoting is accurate, but more importantly they have made my prices very competitive.
Behind the scenes I have Dani who is my point of contact for any and all queries, so any issues, she puts them right whether it's just myself making a mistake or anything else, she had made using hiber so easy and had given me the confidence that this is the right app for me. All in all fantastic app, fantastic people, fantastic company!

So I started using Hiber around a year ago I guess, hard to tell with how 2020 has been. For me being a smaller business using Hiber is an absolute joy.
It’s nice to know someone has your back and is always there to assist you, it feels very much like they are part of your business and keen to drive you forward. The biggest positives for me are the terms for equipment and materials, the warranties that are otherwise unavailable and the payment plans I can now offer to my customers. So thanks again Hiber, keep it up, I’ll catch you down the road!

If you want to scale your business with a back office support network without any hassle then you can’t fault Hiber.
There is added features to consider such as the ability to quote real time off the app so before you leave your customer your quote is in.
Payment handling is an extra bonus.
I was sceptical at first but I’ve tried and tested hiber and it really does work. No gimmicks just an honest transparent solution. If anyone is thinking hiber is to good to be true speak to my directly and I’ll give you the good points and the bad points.
