No product but still paid

My purchased item got returned to Hipstory but they declined to return my money even after being in contact with them for over a month, if not two. Not very good customer service, it took them forever to answer me back and didn't have any information about my order etc.
The small amount I paid cannot be much for Hipstory's budget in general, so I don't understand why they would hurt their reputation instead of paying me my money back. A shame, they have nice products otherwise.
