Honestly one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.
I ordered a pair of shoes thinking it was a US-based company, turns out everything ships directly from China with zero transparency. It took almost 4 weeks for the shoes to arrive, with no tracking updates for most of that time. I emailed customer support twice during the wait and got generic copy-paste replies that didn’t answer anything.
When the shoes finally arrived, they looked nothing like the photos. Materials felt cheap, stitching was already coming loose, and the soles were so thin they felt like they’d wear out after a couple of uses. I wouldn't pay $10 for these at a market stall.
Tried to contact them for a refund and never got a straight answer. Just delay tactics and unhelpful responses.
Totally regret giving this site a chance. If you’re reading this don’t make the same mistake. The whole operation feels like a scam hiding behind fake positive reviews.

I purchased two pairs of shoes from Hobibear (hobibear.com) and had a terrible experience. They claim to offer a hassle-free, no questions asked return policy, this is completely false.

I’ve worn a US men’s size 10 my entire adult life, but the US 10s I received were significantly too small. These are not true to size. I contacted customer service, explained the issue clearly, and provided photos showing the shoes were unworn (just briefly tried on indoors), complete with original packaging and ready to resell.

Instead of honouring their return policy, they offered me a 15% refund and told me to “sell the shoes to someone else.” When I refused and asked for a proper return and full refund, they kept increasing their offer to 30% still refusing to cover return shipping. Eventually, they gave me a return address in the US (I’m in Australia), but the return shipping cost is over 50% of the order value. I told them they should cover this cost due to the inaccurate sizing, but they refused.

They just keep going in circles, stalling and wearing you down. Completely unprofessional.

After reading other Trustpilot reviews, it’s clear that this is a pattern with same excuses, same tactics. I also suspect many of the 5-star reviews here are fake, given how widespread these issues are.

Avoid this company. They don’t stand behind their products or their own policies, and they make returning anything as difficult and costly as possible.

I’ve been using these barefoot shoes for a few days now, and I’m genuinely impressed. They’re super lightweight and soft — it almost feels like walking on fresh grass barefoot. 🍃
The flexibility and breathability make them perfect for daily walks, errands, or just relaxing outside. Highly recommend if you love that natural, grounded feel!

Apart from my work long hours and just the thought of how exhausted my feet are going to be after really get to me. These really help. Comfortable, supportive and they still look good after weeks of use

I am on my feet all day and after a long shift they are usually sore. Those have helped a lot. Comfortable, supportive, still stylish after a few weeks of wear.

Whether I’m wearing leggings, jeans, or even a casual dress, these shoes work. Minimalist design with max comfort. I've been wearing them nonstop.

Do NOT buy here. No service and no retour option. Also bad customservice and quality

At one pair, I was fully committed, had a second pair quick and was already jonesing for a third. You have a customer for life, here.

The shoes are really comfy, I ordered them off Amazon and they came the next day. Perfect fit. The shoes help my toes splay out. Worth purchasing . If you're going to purchase them they sell in a US size so you have to find out what size you're in your country.

they are apparently intending to screw me out of my money. issue with the delivery address given, they will not reroute to a deliverable address, nor will they refund. scumbags.

Thought I was getting a decent brand turns out to be one of those fake fronts for Chinese generic shoes. Should have read trustpilot but it's my fault I have been fooled before by these and the price was low enough to take a chance. The sandals I bought are rubbish though but I will wear them till they fall apart in a couple of weeks.

It's a scam. They won't refund returns and it's taking months and months to receive any response. Truly unprofessional and horrible company.

The company has a UK website, so imagine my surprise when I go to check the tracking of my delivery to see my order is literally being shipped from China. Ordered 3 days ago and the goods are still in China.

This should be made clear when ordering.

I ordered 2x pairs of shoes in the same size - one fit perfectly, the other was too small. I reached out to organise a refund and was told that there is no returns hub in the UK. If I wanted to return the item, it would be very expensive for me. Instead, they offered to send me another pair of shoes for free to make up for the inconvenience. I didn't love this idea as it feels very wasteful and environmentally unfriendly but agreed. When I received the new pair (in the same size as the other two) they were far too big for me. I reached out to customer service and they essentially blamed me for not reading their sizing chart (which is incorrect... EU sizes do not correlate to the correct UK size...). The shoes are okay quality - not worth the hassle in my opinion.

Never received shoes even though says delivered. HORRIBLE to get in touch with them to discuss. Will try reverse charge with paypal. Don’t buy from them!!!!!

I requested a return on shoes that were the wrong size. I was very specific in my initial e-mail that I wanted to return the shoes for a refund. I received a timely reply with an option to keep the shoes (and resell or give to someone as a gift), receive a 15% refund as well as a 20% discount on my next purchase. This is some shady business practice. This does not benefit the customer at all. There was no indication that I was ordering shoes being shipped from China. I had to reply that I want to return.

Been emailing since April, twice returned and twice not collected, the return address is Germany so paid twice for nothing, telling me about custom fees, then make sure the courier can send it there
Don’t waste your time as the return is nothing but stress and hassle

I ordered a pair of wide-toe-box running shoes. I was looking for cushioned wide-toe-box, which is very uneasy to find, at prices that are over the top or out of stock. The pair I found here ticked all boxes.
I got my shoes in 15 days as mentionned on the website. They are what I ordered, cushioned no-barefoot wide-toe-box. But the sizing is not good. I am a 38, ordered 39 as I always do to have bigger shoes, but.... they finally are nearly not big enough. I can use them, but they are slightly uncomfortable as my toe touches the end of the shoe and I am not used to this. They are uneasy to tighten, laces are very thin, and the foot moves a lot in the shoe. The insole is uncomfortable, I switched it for a memory foam one, much better.

Now, I am very displeased by the marketing practices. I ordered on the german website, and realized after I ordered that this company just uses a german domain and german language, they are 100% chinese and it's hidden dropshipping. Your shoes just travel all the way from China, and there is no customer service whatsoever.
I usually don't have aproblem buying out of Chinese companies, but I am very unhappy that they are faking being German. Consider that the size might not fit, and how much you are willing to lose before ordering, and I would suggest to pay through PayPal..

They don't even deserve a one star, there is no way to return trainers which don't fit, very small sizing. Very unhappy.
