Cute shoe. They were comfortable out of the box. It would be better if the insole had a bit more arch support.

The order came quickly, and the product looked like the examples online. The shoes are great for wide feet! Very comfortable and cute too!

The shoes are great but customer service are awful. I never received my shoes and they want proof of non-delivery. Thats impossible, i dont have them, thsts orrpf enough. They need to prove delivery. They were sent my signed for post, i never signed for them and they cant prove i did. Im a single parent and cant afford to just lose that amount of money so I will never use them again. Very unprofessional.

Ordered two pairs of shoes and they provided a fake tracking number with SF Express. They kept updating it pretending it was getting closer until finally they said it was at a shipping center in my town. My town has a population of 1,000 and there is no shipping center here. After 18 more days of waiting I reported them to my credit card and asked for a refund. They keep delaying and sending one line replies offering to re-ship (like there ever was anything shipped) or asking my to try contacting the shipping company based on mainland China and as of yet haven't provided a refund. So glad I purchased with a credit card. Scam.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Don‘t order from them. Having a UK address, sending from China and if you want to return they are telling you, you should not because of many reasons and you have to return on your costs. The shoes are smelly, way to small and very uncomfy. But the company in China is the worst itself when it comes to a return. I am sure if I return them, that they will never arrive. Really, don‘t bother ordering directly with that company.

Terrible company, unprofessional. The return process is essentially impossible! They want me to keep 3 pairs of issues my kids will never wear (sizes too small), keep adding obstacles to the return process and essentially forcing me to one option - keep the shoes with a 30% money back. How inefficient and unprofessional! Do not use this company which has nothing to do with the UK as they claim on their website.

Fraudulent company! I placed an online order for 2 casual style shoes and did receive a notification after my payment was submitted but then I never received any other email notifications about shipping. I emailed the co. asking why I am not getting updates to which they replied, "your shoes are out of stock " A legitimate site does not allow an out of stock item to even be purchased! They offered 10% off if I waited, I declined and demanded a refund which wasn't easy. Check the BBB about this company.

I ordered the Hobibear snowboots in need of a zero drop heel and adequate toe box, which is what they advertise their footwear to focus on aka barefoot shoes. When the boots arrived and I tried them on, I immediately felt the bone of my big toe crank inward to fit the bunion brace shaped boot. I took them off instantly and placed them back in their packaging, then sent an email asking for return instructions and a refund. Several days later, they offered me a 15% credit, if I would just keep the boots. I declined. A couple days later they are offering me a 30% discount on the boots I do not want, if i will just keep them and asking for photos of them if I still want to return before they send an address which I will be required to pay shipping for. They are offering discounts on another pair of shoes, but this is what they have for winter boots, which is what I need. None of their other shoes interest me and I was hoping I could trust them to offer a reasonable pair of snowboots. This is not the case and I would prefer to be respected in ly decision to return instead of receiving repeated unwanted offers and coaxing to keep boots that are harmful to my feet.

Unbelievably horrible company and terrible shoes. They look nothing like the pictures, the quality is awful, so wide id snap my ankle if i wore them. Their customers service is a complete scam, the first two email responses were spent trying to convince me to keep the shoes? No return label, i have to tell them when the shoes arrive in their warehouse? How is that even possible??! WHAT KIND OF SICK JOKE IS THIS!? Oh and i get to pay for shipping. Great. Thats $20 of shipping costs for $40 shoes. Thats criminal. What a a scam!

Sham of a company, they make it extremely difficult to return shoes that do not fit to the point that it costs so much to return its not worth the effort. The website looks like its a UK based company shipping from the UK but then the shoes arrive from china and you return them to Germany paying shipping and taxes! Just a scam to keep the sales and not take returns.

Ordered shoes on 5 November. Sent via Evri, marked as delivered, but never received.

The delivery photo they sent me is not my building or mail room. I reported this immediately and provided clear photos proving it.

Their website advertises an 18-day policy for a replacement or refund if an order doesn’t arrive. This has been ignored completely even when I cited it to them.

Over 5 weeks later, the item has not arrived and the company is still keeping my money while sending generic replies, asking repeatedly for evidence already provided, or claiming that it has been delivered (it obviously hasn’t).

I ordered the Hobibear shoes on November 29,2025 and I have not received them yet!

Terrible customer service. The shoes are not proper barefoot shoes, bought a pair of their winter boots for my toddler and the sole is so stiff there was absolutely no point paying the premium for barefoot. When I raised this, despite their returns policy saying if there is an issue with quality they will pay the cost of a return, they have refused.
They may be cheaper than other barefoot brands, but there’s a reason. To be avoided

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I placed my order in October and have spent nearly two months trying to get a straightforward resolution. Throughout this time, I’ve been given contradictory information, repeated delays, and promises that never materialised.

Despite the website showing items as “in stock,” I was repeatedly told that the colours I selected were unavailable for a replacement. Each time I chose an alternative, I was told that colour was also unavailable. I was then offered replacements, but even those were delayed with no clear shipping date or tracking information.

I was also told I would need to pay return shipping to Germany — something that was not made clear at the time of purchase — and was then encouraged to keep unsuitable shoes in exchange for a partial refund or a “free pair,” which also never arrived.

As of 08 December, I still have no update on the replacement they claimed was shipped from Asia, and no tracking information has ever been provided.

This experience has felt like being led in circles rather than receiving genuine customer service. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Absolutely appalling customer service. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY. At no time before purchasing do they tell you that you will have to return the shoes to Germany and you will have to pay the postage!

shoes are ok, but dont order the wrong size. They wont give you the return address and will make you buy new shoes to give you 30% refund on the old order, but when you order new ones they are sayin you already used the discount and cant give you refund.
And they offer you 20% refund on the new order when you get the shoes, but then same story..after you get them, they are arguing that you have used your discount. Scam chinese company. If you order be sure to get the right size, and sizes are too big by 0.5-1 size. I wont be ordering again.

It's a Chinese scam, they send no invoice and it's impossible to return the order.
I've been in contact with service at hobibear.de and the email seems to no longer exist.
I returned the shoes and did not receive a refund

Should have read the reviews! Once they have your money they will not return it come rain nor shine, only contact is via email and they will reply 2 or 3 days later. They are deceitful scam artists. Use your consumer rights protection and get your bank to cancel the transaction. Do not excpect any help from Hobibear they are blood sucking vampires sucking on your funds. be smarter than me. AVOID!

Products arrived later than expected…it’s not a UK based company despite being a .co.uk website.
Products arrived in poorly packed and damaged packaging.
Quality of the shoes is very poor feels very cheep. Sizing is not accurate to typical UK standards.

To top it off customer service is awful. The website states if the item is damaged or there is quality issues then refund would be given and a postage would be covered however they are not honouring this. And as their not UK based returns are not only a very long process but they want me to cover all the costs which include international shipping.

For a shoe that was meant for school and isn’t cheap at all. Everything about this brand is poor to say the least.

The products arrived broken, and customer service has not responded to me for more than 15 days. They are CHINESE.
