We had a lovely time in the Little Small House.
The house had everything we needed, and the location was perfect for us. I would love to come back again.

Lovely cottage, well-located, friendly owner.

Quick, convenient, efficient. Will try some more perhaps to establish how things go in the future. We haven’t booked a cottage for a long time and we were impressed with this outfit and it’s use of tech.

Second time here. Lovely cottage. Perfect location. Really well equipped. We love the courtyard with the shed full of useful things. BBQ , beach trolly , windbreak,chairs, whirlygigg for washing.
A really great place to stay.
Our only complaint this year is the cleanliness of the cottage.
My son used the Shark vacuum cleaner provided on the 3rd day of our stay and filled the dust chamber 4 times just found the stairs and landings!
My daughter- in-law dropped something in the lounge tgat rolled under the sofa.
When trying to retrieve it we realised how dirty it was underneath. I got a broom from the cupboard and was discussed with what came out from under the sofa ! If had obvioysly not been cleaned fof months.
I would also a suggest a usable mop for guests to keep floor clean.
Other than better housekeeping it is perfect.

Away from it all, characterful property but modernised to an extremely high standard. Tasteful decoration and lovely garden.

This was a lovely home to stay in. The location was perfect. It was walking distance to the beach, to restaurants, shopping, we hardly used our car the entire time. The commons nearby was great for flying a kite, watching sunsets, star gazing and seeing the solstice. The rooms were all comfortable and it was very clean, and easy to keep clean. The bed linens were cotton and cooling. Even in the heat wave it was easy to keep the house cool because of shades. When we had one minor issue (operator error) someone came out the next day to help. Great service from the team. Also many cute treats on arrival. Thank you!

We all have great memories of our stay. Truly restful and enjoyable.

Always use holiday cottages as I trust them and haven’t let me down.

Very quite and secluded with plenty of wildlife. Hottubs are great.

Beautiful property to stay at set in an equally gorgeous location. My wife and I had a 4 night stay in this magnificently equipped shepherds hut.
Hosts are very welcoming and friendly and always readily available with helpful local knowledge.
Our booking was at very short notice but we couldn’t have asked for it to be any smoother on arrival. Parking on site, short walk through the garden to the shepherds hut passing lovely tree lined paddocks with horses for company. Nice and very tasty cake and biscuits with bottled water, milk and fruit juice were a welcome arrival pack. Nice shower and extremely comfortable bed await you. Kitchen is fully equipped with all you’d need for cooking any meal, and alternatively a bbq awaits all you outdoor cooks. Great choice to go here.

Great accommodation and amenities for a multi-generational family. The house is even better than the description with large, airy rooms all well decorated to a high standard. Overlooking wild flower meadows and with a lake on the estate, it is in a great location for local walks and within easy driving distance of beaches and well-known holiday destinations and attractions.

This comfortable property is in a lovely quiet location close to two pubs and within easy reach of Sheffield and the Peak district. There are walks nearby of varying lengths, including the Blacka Moor nature reserve through beautiful woodland.

Perfect place for a great holiday: cosy beds, a well-equipped kitchen and a real “feel-at-home” atmosphere throughout. Fantastic views from every level – the terrace, entrance, living room and bedroom. There’s so much to see and do nearby, including beautiful walks and fascinating industrial heritage sites. Our favourite spot was the bench overlooking Cromford, perfect for morning tea and an evening aperitif. We really recommend to book this lovely place.

We had a lovely holiday but house was quite a walk from the beach and town. Holiday Cottages gave their usual informative and efficient service.

A lovely home from home cottage with everything you could need and delicious treats on arrival. It was a great base to explore the area including Weymouth, Portland and Lyme Regis.
