Do no buy from this company

Do no buy from this company, promised before valentines delivery didn't arrive then told by the unhelpful chat bot that I have to wait until 17th to take further action. 2 claims have now been raised with customer service but they can take 6 working days to come back to you. There is no telephone number that I could find. If I don't hear back from someone today I will get a refund from my credit card.

Tigers eye necklace

Tigers eye necklace, it was lovely until 6 weeks after wearing it, it broke while out with beads everywhere and we were shocked to see that one strand of cotton held this £100 necklace together. It was frayed in about 4 parts and could have snapped easily. The cotton snapped with no pressure at all. You couldn’t see how poor the quality was until the beads fell away. I’ve reported to customer service but am yet to even get an acknowledgment.

Just Perfect

great Service, great Product, Beautiful design, hear warming materials, perfect colours and even robust enough to live long and age. I've been very satisfied end to end and there is no room for any even tiny complain. Thank you dear HoltzKern Team. It is nice to have you on the Market.

Amazing customer service

The customer service at Holzkern is great. I have only bought 1 piece (necklace) from them but I will definitely consider buying from them for future gifts as I find their prices are fair and their staff went above and beyond.

Poor quality, awful service

Ordered a necklace in time for valentines. It arrived damaged. I messaged immediately, thinking I could get this sorted still in time for valentines. Filled out their issues form, attached photos etc. 3 days later still no reply, now missing any chance to get something sorted before Valentine’s Day. Posting this in the hope it might encourage them to look at my messages.Extremely poor service, avoid.

Bought a pair of Koa/Gold stencil…

Bought a pair of Koa/Gold stencil earrings for my wifes anniversary and she absolutely loved them. Unfortunately the wood insert dropped out of one of the earrings and went missing. I spoke to Anja at Holzkern who was absolutely superb and replaced them for me free of charge. Will definitely be using them again and would recommend to anyone thinking of buying one of their products as a gift.

A Watch That Doesn't Tell Time

UPDATE: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE buying from Holzkern. I purchased a watch from them for €200 that didn't work properly from the start. It lagged daily, making it impossible to use it for it's intended purpose. After numerous tries I finally got a response from Holzkern with information on how to send it back. Just yesterday I recieve my watch, supposedly repaired, but after one day of just letting it sit on my desk the watch quit running again. It runs on batteries. I liked the appearance of this watch very much, but I will most likely never buy a watch from Holzkern again.

Horrible customer servie

Abosolutely absent customer service. They don't mind sending and charging you for items that you did not order, but when we try to reach out and send them back, no one replies. We have been trying to contact anyne since December. Do not buy from them.

24 month guarantee not honoured

I bought a wooden watch for my son in December 2024 (for Christmas present) which had a 24 month guarantee. Unfortunately just through daily wear the watch has split where it joins to the watch face. I have raised a service report for a defect as this area cannot be replaced with a spare link. I have been now informed I need to purchase a new watch strap ( bracelet) which they have also provided a 35% discount code. This watch had a 24 month guarantee and it is only 14 months since I purchased and i do not understand why I have to purchase a new strap when the original strap failed and obviously had a flaw, I am not sure what this guarantee covers.

Highly recommend 😊

The watch I bought is beautiful and came in a beautifully crafted box.
I'm delighted with it.
I had a small issue tracking my item (couriers fault) and the seller was quick and very friendly in their response to help me out.
Would highly recommend the company.

Resolution to a problem

Just a thank you for resolving the issue with the watch I recieved as a gift. The resolution to this took longer than it should, and I think Holzkern customer services ultimately realised that taking responsibility for goods which may not be perfect every time is important.
No issues with the replacement, so all good in the end. Keep developing comms on aftersales quality for your customers and the company should continue to grow.

Christmas Present

Edit: Although customer service took slightly longer than expected to get back to me, they were kind and eager to resolve my concern. I still believe that their products are high quality and beautiful. I will be purchasing them in the future. Thanks!

Original: I want to start by saying that Holzkern seems like a really awesome company, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of the watch. The craftsmanship and design feel premium, and overall the product itself exceeded my expectations.

The only reason I’m leaving a 2-star review is due to my experience with customer support. I reached out regarding a return for a watch I purchased as a Christmas gift. My goal isn’t to leave the brand, but to explore other Holzkern models that may be a better fit.

Unfortunately, I haven’t received a response yet, and with the return window closing, I’m concerned that my return may no longer be valid simply due to the lack of communication.

I’m more than happy to update this review once the issue is resolved, as I truly like the product and would love to have a smoother experience with Holzkern moving forward.

Outstanding from start to finish!

I was gifted a beautiful watch by my partner for my Christmas Birthday but unfortunately the bracelet was defective after only being worn a handful of times. I was absolutely gutted but after completing an online form, Fatima swiftly contacted me and my watch has now been replaced. The online/email support and customer service I received was outstanding from start to finish. Thank you for all your help! Highly, highly recommend!

I can only presume that if you get a watch that works they would be good. If, however, you get one that doesn't they are very unhelpful and incredible slow to responded. Apparently 'sorry we will sort this problem out' is most definitely not in there skill set. Not recommended.

Disappointed return customer

I am a return customer, having purchased a piece as a gift several years ago. This time, I bought my partner a dark coloured bandlet as a gift. Unfortunately, the bandlet stains his wrist every time he wears it, presumably due to dye being used to stain the wood without a coating to seal it in. Customer service was initially prompt, but have quickly tailed off and I'm concerned that I won't get a replacement product as despite a chaser, they have gone silent on me. It's a huge shame as the product is beautiful, but can't be worn. Overall, a very disappointing purchase, particularly as it was a Christmas present. I won't be risking it with Holzkern again.

Fake, cheap and no customer service

I bought my husband a bracelet for the holidays. He wore it for an hour and it turned his wrist black. Cheap jewelry that they do not guarantee even though they say they do. I asked for a refund and was refused. DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this fake company!

I appreciate the quality of the…

I appreciate the quality of the bandlet. But I am very desapointed of the missing sodalite on few chain links. In m'y case 5 links without. This is not what I see on the Web site. All links are with sodalite. What you see is not what you get.
(After contacting Holzkern, they kindly sent me three additional links. Unfortunately, only one of them contained sodalite. While I appreciate the effort, the issue is still not fully resolved.)
