They make a big difference
38 Degrees is a marvellous organisation that makes me feel that what I think matters and that I can make a difference. Its campaigns are well thought out and very effective.
Taking action with 38degrees
38degrees is nearly always quickly onto issues that matter to me. This means that I can sign up to most actions. The ones I cannot support, I try to explain the reasons.
We can and do get things done
I spend much of time taking actions, whether small or large, on issues that I truly care about, which combined with many other like minded people achieves many impressive outcomes and results. The voices of many are heard and listened to, whether it's an issue that affects people locally or nationally. We can, and do, get things done.
I will always give my valuable time and continue to contribute and support these worthy causes.
I am pleased to receive your information, because it keeps me updated with current affairs,
I am pleased to receive your information keeping me up to date with current affairs. I can choose whether to support a campaign or not and am glad to have the option.
38degrees is greet
38degrees is a great concept. It covers subjects that government conveniently side-step and airs them directly to their public, thus giving people like me a better view of what. Is going on in the halls of power! Bad reviews are a way of skewing our perceptions and therefore should only be given the credit they deserve, I.e. none,
Great at raising awareness
Great at raising awareness of vital topics things that may not be in the news but campaigns about things I care about.
A voice for everyone
Before 38 Degrees, I had no voice to express my opinions or concerns about the effects of injustice and inequality on UK citizens. I am very grateful for the chance to speak out in support of those who need it, and I donate to them monthly to help fund what they do. 38 Degrees seeks my views and always gives me the option to give my reasons if I disagree with a campaign. It gives me a way to hold decision makers accountable.
They keep me in the picture and…
They keep me in the picture and informed on important issues and it is up to me whether I wish to go forward or not. I don’t really have any complaints at all except to say that perhaps less emails would be nice. I get a lot but of course we shouldn’t avoid important issues.
A valuable service
A fairly constant stream of petitions to consider and sign, most of which are tailored to my human rights interests and so are relevant to me. Some are too local or only concern on family, but in general they are an excellent way for ordinary people to express their preference for (mainly non-political) change. Its a valuable service.
Making a real difference to important…
Making a real difference to important issues. They've got a finger on the pulse of what's affecting all of us
38 Degrees
Not afraid to take those who consider themselves above criticism to task.
People Powered Results
People powered results, bringing issues to the public's attention, I have been a supporter for a number of years now. Run by the people for the people.
38 Degrees is a different NGO who works very effectively.
38 Degrees is prepared to challenge Governments, companies any one who is doing a disservice to the people they should be representing or attempting to harm either individual, communities or the environment. They way they challenge is frequently different, projecting images on buildings or places e.g. White cliffs of Dover.
Positive ACTION
38 Degrees takes action where it is needed to shift opinion and make a difference. 38 Degrees asks for our views and acts with our preferences in mind. Great work for the good of all of us. Well done and keep it going.
38 degrees gives me a way to protest at actions I find hard to show in other ways…
38 degrees is a way of little people making their voices heard in an increasingly complicated world. Anyone can raise an issue and ask for support. If you do not feel strongly about an issue you can just ignore or delete that email. Often recently they have raised issues they are not sure about and asked for an opinion from the community before carrying out a campaign. I would like to see more of this. Nobody should just accept other peoples views without question or debate and this is a forum to do this. It tends to lean slightly more to the left than to the right in politics. However some issues raised are about large corporations eg water companies and executive bonuses for losing money. That in my opinion is not political but standing up for the right thing. Other issues such as closure of a well loved cinema are not political at all but do affect our quality of life.
Overall I feel they do a good job representing the views of ordinary people and if I disagree then I either comment or just ignore the email.
38 do their best to bring honesty and…
38 do their best to bring honesty and justice by bringing some shocking truths to our attention I 100% support them. I am 77 disabled and badly let down by the NHS. They constantly try to improve that by campaigning. I can’t always help them financially, but always by supporting them online. I’m a retired nurse of 40+ years service. The NHS is broken, never to be fixed without massive help.
38 Degrees are great!
They're working tirelessly and creatively for a wide range of good causes, including saving the environment, improving health, housing and social services.
I think 38 degrees generally do a good…
I think 38 degrees generally do a good honest job. It is important to keep challenging the establishment and the lies, the greed the dishonesty and the half truths which seem to be ever more rampent in our society. So I mostly am happy to support their campaigns.

Progressive Team
I think this is a progressive and dedicated team who push forward their ideas to the general public. I have to say I have not supported all the proposals they have come forward with, but in the main good ideas.
I wish them every success
The Big voice
They fight frequently for excellent cases of injustice and also for peoples rights
that are trying to be eroded.
