Had concrete flooring done by Ryan Adam and Jake and they done a fantastic job very professional, i would highly recommend these guys to anyone. Very polite and want to do the job to the best they can also cleaning up after they finished the work and communicated the job and what was being done each day.

Ellick came out today and was really fantastic, really friendly and helpful. Gave a comprehensive and knowledgeable consultation.

Home energy staff arrived promptly put down protective coverings on the floors of the two rooms being treated carried the damp course injection , scraped off the damp plaster and swept it up and bagged it and took it away with them applied damp course inhibitor paint . Applied rough plaster and made a keyway . Told me they would return to apply the top coat plaster in two days to allow bottom coat to dry out, all work carried to a high standard

Surveyor Stephen I, not sure if he is still with the company but he impressed my son and daughter in law so much by the way he gave such honest feedback about his findings and broke it down so well and in such a way we felt in total control about how much we spend and what work we do now, we called him on a Sunday and he was out with his son and he took the call and helped us and prevented us from needing to speak to the call centre on the following Monday, we told Stephen some personal information that we were going through as a family at the time when he visited our home and his response and the way he went about things we couldn’t recommend him enough, proper surveyor and proper person 10/10 he was great not sure if he is still with the company think he may have moved on but if you want a quote ask for him he was amazing from the minute he turned up, breath of fresh air and very respectful

Very friendly and helpful staff, Mark, Luke, Rick and James. Rick and James worked very well and it was left clean and tidy and they did everything I asked including taking some wood away, thank you, much appreciated Mrs J Mason.

Mike Toy come to undertake a survey of my home for insulating suspended wooden floorboards. He was polite, friendly and professional. He explained what the company could offer in terms of types of insulation and advised which would be best for my home. It was very helpful.

The removal of Loft Insulation installed in 2013 in a Government scheme, was part of a two part contract with HES GB.The installation (by another company) had not been a huge success.

I arranged with HES GB for the removal and a also some remedial work (under guarantee) of King Span type panels.

Two operatives Rick and Eevan arrived on time and this very messy and hazardous job was very professionally completed.

The nature of fibre glass material made me switch to HESGB advised Earthwool a more environmental and less hazardous product.

They removed it all and it is worth noting that once disturbed its very nature can settle on some surfaces as it taken away. Hardly visible but I so glad it has gone and thank those two gentlemen for all their effort

To sum up the payment was made and they even helped in contacting the office

Johnny came and checked our loft and carried out a thorough survey of the whole property. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Johnny is a really nice man who put us at ease strait away. Would highly recommend

We had a fantastic experience with Home Energy Save GB Limited, thanks to their surveyor, Ellick. After struggling to find help with cavity wall insulation, we booked a free survey, and Ellick was brilliant. He came after work, which was really convenient. He was super thorough, drilling into the walls to check for cavity space. Although we didn't need additional insulation, he gave us a detailed check for early signs of moisture in some walls. He gave us honest advice on how to be proactive and stop any issues from escalating. He was transparent, knowledgeable, and gave us loads of extra information. Highly recommend!

A surveyor called Ellick Peters came today and did a thorough survey of our property for free. He identified and explained the damp problems we have been having and the solutions and gave a detailed breakdown of pricing. He answered all our questions. He was polite, respectful and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their property.

When Johnny and Mike attended my property to do a report quote on a damp check,they were very thorough on explaining everything and gave me fantastic advice.
I was happy with the service received. I was given a recommendation to consider an external wall coating which I will pursue in the future, and would gladly contact Home Energy again,and recommend,

EDIT - the reply says they “cannot identify me as a customer”. Of course not. Absolute rubbish and they are fully aware of that. I asked that my details be removed (as per below) under GDPR as the inappropriate sales person called Sammy/Sam (clearly referred to in other reviews on here by the way yet they deny all knowledge of our visit - of which we have ring video doorbell footage of her on the property by the way) took photos and information on our property, but they never bothered to send us a written quote after we said no way to her pushy sales tactics. Very convenient way to deny all knowledge , and they are fully aware of that. AVOID, seriously. I never ever write reviews and felt very very passionate about writing this one we were so disgusted.

Our experience with this company was not merely disappointing — it was wholly inappropriate and deeply concerning. Sam, who visited us, was overly familiar from the outset and took photos of our property on her personal phone without asking for permission. What was described as a “short survey” somehow became three and a half hours of scaremongering, pressure, and manipulation.

We were subjected to alarmist claims using an unexplained “damp detection” device, despite there being no visible signs of damp and despite our professional surveys from last year confirming the property is sound. It was clear these tactics were designed to frighten us into agreeing to unnecessary work.

The most troubling moment came when it became obvious we were not going to hand over money there and then. Sam’s demeanour changed instantly — the friendliness disappeared, replaced with pressure and impatience. We were told we would receive a written quote, but nothing was ever sent.

To make matters worse, it took the company three months to respond to our GDPR request to remove our details, and only after we made it clear we would escalate the matter to the ICO.

This was an unprofessional, manipulative experience from start to finish. We would strongly advise others to avoid this company.

I am very happy with the service I recievedboth from all the staff, Office surveys and workmen that did the job. All were very helpful and pleasant. Arrived on time, and cleaned up as they went along. I am very satisfied with the work completed and would highly
recommend.

Avoid at all costs! They will promise perfection and deliver less than mediocre and then when you complain about said mediocre work they will turn it around on you! Total rip off

Ellick Peters come to my property to day to have a look at damp in my bedrooms and bathroom.
He done a full inspection of my property and come up with a few solutions.
Some solutions I can get done with having tradesmen in the family.
I was given a quote but at the moment I will be prioritising my jobs.
Ellick was reassuring, good at his job and very knowledgeable. Lovely guy

Complete sales agenda was like reading of a script.

Come around put something on your wall tell you it’s super high moisture content and you have rising damp (upon hours of research you cannot diagnose damp this way salt contents etc).

offer you savings but only on the spot if you book

Due to the heavy pressured sales pitch I have paid for two seperate surveys from damp specialists who don’t have a sale benefit. Both of which have highlighted the issues causing this… mainly poor airflow and a drainage issue.

Ultimately every free survey costs money so the scaremongering is used to generate sales.

Avoid any company that offers damp treatment and sells the treatment.

Pay independent for a survey who give an unbiased opinion.

Would not recommend for any diagnosis but cannot comment on work quality.

Rob and Nathan showed up on time, straight into the work, carried out very professionally, updated me as the job went on, great work carried out by great team. Would most certainly recommend anyone looking for damp course work or any other work to use Home Energy GB.

Booked an appointment for a survey but they were constantly ringing for more information and then were very rude and condescending they then cancelled the appointment I believe this is due to my disability.
