Near criminal if not for sure criminal!

This company doesn’t even deserve a one star. I am a former military spouse with 15 long distance moves. When I contracted this service for packing and moving I was told “white glove service”. This was anything but. Hundreds of items broken and tens of items stolen. I claim stolen bc how do you “lose” the valuable pieces. This is near criminal. They are out of business and open under another name to avoid legal action America First. 😂

Kept $3,000 w/o delivering service

I cannot reach these people after paying them over $3,000. They will not answer the phone or respond to email. The numbers for contacts are no longer valid in less than 2 months. I guess I'm going to have to sue them

The moving team was professional, and friendly and carefully packaged my items and safely transported all my items to my new house. They unloaded my furniture into the new house quickly and without any damage. I am grateful and will definitely reach out in the future if I need moving assistance.

Horrible!

I'm so sorry I contacted them. Even more sorry I trusted them and gave them a deposit. I got lots of promises from the sales guys I work with - all lies! They fired him and left me hanging.

There was no communication for weeks. I finally had two pods delivered from 800-PackRat.

Finally the "Quality Assurance" manager contacted me via text. I told him to send the smallest truck because HomeSafe is a nightmare and I don't have much confidence. He didn't bother to respond. Some "QA" manager.

Finally I had enough and told them to cancel the move. They kept my $2700 deposit and I got nothing. What a great business plan: Take the money up front, totally anger the customer to point where they cancel, and then keep the money - 100% profit!

The good Lord has a special place in mind for these folks.

This company doesn’t not deserve a star

This company do not deserve a star. I booked this moving company to get my things from VA to IN and paid the deposit over the phone. The movers they sent changed the contract agreement by increasing the price by almost a 1k and requesting to be paid in cash or money order. They picked up my things with the idea of having it deliver after 10 days. 40 days later still having received my things and Reached out to homesafe many times and I was amazed how careless they are. « You should call the carier, there is nothing we can do for you other maybe calling them for you » and never heard back from them. I furious at myself for trusting such a company and the reason I am writing this is to make sure you don’t do the same mistake I did. Not sure when I will receive my things and hopefully soon. The carrier is apparently located in New Jersey even farther from IN and doesn’t answer call or text messages. All I have to do is stay positive with the to get my things. I am beyond mad at the moment.

DON'T DO IT!

DON'T DO IT! They took my $645 deposit and sent the shadiest movers EVER who tried to charge me triple the original quote in a rented truck with taped on sign with a different company name on it and a bad DOT number! They said they would refund my deposit since March 2022. It's July now and they are saying my deposit is gone. TOTAL SCAM! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Don't write them or do an electronic check! I hope this saves someone a lot of time and money. Use a reputable company. It's worth it not to give money to these swindlers!

Unethical Crooked Scammers!!!

July 2021 -
This has been the worst experience for us ever. We have moved 5 times within the US so far and this has been the most awful experience ever.
We still have not received our stuff. It has been more than 11 months and we have paid $5000 already. We have no money left for anything.
We were quoted $3200 initially by someone named Michael and we were happy that it was so low, that we signed the initial deposit with $1370.
Then a day before the move, there was a quality call where the dispatch manager Eric Martin quoted $4900 (because there was more stuff apparently - which we already provided to Michael).
We couldn't get our $1370 back so we had to proceed with $4900.

Then the mover (Zano Moving and Storage) came and he showed an agreement of $5700. Honestly, I don't know what was happening here. It was the day of the move - we had to leave the state the next day - what could we do with our stuff. I showed the mover the agreement of $4900 and then we negotiated (which was another bad experience) and then he said $5400.

What could we do now? He said pay half now and pay the rest at the time of delivery - So we gave a check for $1870. He loaded all our stuff. He put down the delivery date as 7/25. We still have not received our stuff. Then after he picked up our stuff, a week later the mover (Zano Moving) called us and told us that the check bounced and was canceled. He even sent us a picture of the canceled check(crossed out). Told us we needed to pay $1900 initial payment and the rest at delivery. We were so stupid and trusting. So we did a money transfer of $1900. Then a couple of days later, the mover (Zano Moving) told us that his office mistakenly deposited the check and if that's the case, then there will be no balance at delivery.

So now we have paid $5000 to "Home safe Transit" and "Zano Moving and Storage". Our stuff is still not delivered.

Update January 25, 2022(6 months Later)
The mover Zano (Avraham Zano) called me today and said that my stuff is still in Las Vegas and provided this address -
Extra space storage 7525 w Sahara Ave Las Vegas NV 89117
Unit number 1209
Under name:Yosef yamin

He told me that if we want, we can take our stuff and that he would pay us the money required.
I sent him the following message - "We have already paid you the money to deliver our stuff to us. You are responsible for the delivery. So please deliver our stuff to our address or else we will hold you responsible. If you can't, you hire a mover or something and complete the delivery. You are responsible for the delivery. And we will hold you liable for delivery."

We have not received a response.

It has been more than 6 months now. We still do not have our stuff delivered.

Complaints so far that I have filed -
FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY ADMINISTRATION - Case #: 2021-1952
State of Nevada - Office of the Attorney General - CONSUMER/FINANCIAL FRAUD - Consumer Complaint - #12557
State of California – Department of Consumer Affairs - Case# HHM 2021-370

So far we have not received any renumeration from either Homesafe or Zano. As of today,June 29th,2022, it has been 349 days. I have no idea where our belongings are. No one seems to help us. Everyone has started some form of investigation, but we don't know anything. Its absolutely heart breaking to have gone through such an experience and we still don't have any resolution.

Unethical company

Unethical company. This company is engaging in unethical practices. I was trying to figure out who exactly the company sent to my apartment to move me on my move date. It is a brokerage company, not a moving company, and once they take your deposit, the kindness and customer service stop there. The moving truck (from the company they sent) showed up with no license plate, and a sign taped to the door that read (name of company). Unprofessional for a moving company to have no license plate and to be identified in this manner. I discovered that day that HS hands you over to an inexperienced and unprofessional moving company (to save themselves money) and extract more money from you. Trust me; it is a well-orchestrated scam. The individual listed on the new contract enters my apartment and begins to move, writing something on notebook paper with a new estimate utterly different from the one provided by HS. Although the items reported to HS on the initial contract were the same, the price still almost doubled. So their justification for every client will always be “they had more items than expected,” even if it’s a lie (that’s an integral part of the scam). PV then went from $2000 and more than doubled to $3960.12 (not even in the same range) with a DEMAND that I pay on the spot $1315.06 instead of the $597.50 that I was told to have by HS. So their scam is that PV issues a low quote (illusion) and then sends an inexperienced unprofessional moving company to write up a new estimate (and contract) for more money. It ended up being way more than the $1315.06

FRAUD and DECEPTIVE! Contact me class action!

This company is a fraud. Stole our deposit and lied to the police. Several people have reached out and I am getting a group together.

If you have been a victim of Homesafe Transit please reach out to Ashley Moody the attorney generals office contact number (850) 414-3990. I would also highly recommend calling the police non-emergency line (561) 822-1900 and report the misleading and fradulet practices and file a police report. Get a copy of the police report so the lies are documented. Once you take these steps and the attorney general forwards your case you contact consumer services at (850) 410-3800. Lastly I would contact the DOT at 1-888-368-7238 and the consumer protection office at (561) 712-6600. We are currently in the process of getting our refund back and getting them investigated for fraud. There possibly could be a class action lawsuit. Unethical and Dishonest Broker

STAY AWAY FROM HOMESAFE TRANSIT MOVING
COMPANY!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE UNETHICAL IN THE WAY THEY DO BUSINESS!!!!! I wish I had read all the negative reviews on their website and the BBB site
before signing a contract with Homesafe Transit. I contacted Homesafe Transit to move my son's furniture from TN to the Army Base at Ft. Sam Houston, TX where he is a Major. I was given a price and paid a deposit but when the driver arrived he
wanted two times the amount to move the exact same furniture and boxes. I cancelled the move and now they will not refund my deposit. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I cancelled their service because I have also read where Homesafe Transit is holding customer's possessions "hostage" and demanding payment of additional monies before making their delivery. If you look at most of the positive reviews on their Homesafe Transit website they are foreign names. In saying this, shortly after I posted a negative review I received a response from an individual located in Australia that reported he was offered $5.00 to post a positive review when he has never done business with this company. He also reported that Homesafe Transit never paid him the $5.00. Again, I cannot stress enough to say how dishonest this company is in the way they do business by Homesafe Transit by underestimating the weight or "tiers" of your contents then arriving and wanting to charge more for the move as well as offering to pay people for a positive review who have never done business with them. DONOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Homesafe Transit Mover s

PLEASE READ and consider my review when looking for a moving company a one star is too high for Homesafe Transit, West Palm Beach FL. I paid them to locate a moving company near me… Nothing went according to plan. I called Homesafe for help. The CSR helped minimal. I requested to speak to a manager. As I was waiting to talk to management, they had their advertisement playing during hold time. **STRESS FREE** Not correct. I made countless call starting 03–28 to Homesafe, for assistance with no response until 4-20. **QUALITY** Not correct. No quality here, the customer service reps were rude, when I would asked to speak to management, they would be the manager. It was weeks of call before management responded finally with an email. When I would tell them I desperately needed their help, their words were… That was my problem contact the moving company.** SEAMLESS** Not correct. There was nothing seamless about this I had to do so much of the phone calls in the work, they made a few phone calls, but they did not try to find out what was wrong and why the delay. ** WHAT WE QUOTE IS WHAT YOU PAY** Not correct. I had LESS items than what was on my contract, fitting all items under the square footage allowed. I had to pay $352 more. And when I called Homesafe later about it, they said why did you pay them? I told them I paid them: because their lines were busy when I try to reach them at that time. I had to have the items picked up that day as scheduled. I had to run to the bank for cash, because the moving company app did not work like I was told I could pay. I had to get back to work with limited time to wait for help. The moving company had me in a corner and I had no option but to pay the extra money at that time. When I called Homesafe about the extra charges, they said nothing they could do, I paid it. ** NO SURPRISE** Not correct. Finally management contacted me 04-20 with an email, after numerous emails and phone calls, they offered $300 to compensate for my problems. Keep in mind I had paid $352 extra above my contract. I figured that $300 is better than nothing. I then received an email from Homesafe stating if I wanted $300 I had to sign an agreement, that I would not write any bad reviews.
Yes I wanted the $300, but it was more important, to let others know my experience. So I did not agree to this. I wonder how many people had that options with them? When I read the their reviews initially, I asked them about their bad reviews, they had explanations for everything. Please know I'm a real person, with real problems with them. I did what I was supposed to do, I had expected their help when things did not go according to the plan. I was not asking for them to move the world, just a few personal items 1200 miles. This was nothing but headache, total stress and pure frustration working with this company. I would not recommend Homesafe Transit West Palm Beach FL for any one.

This is a review for Homesafetransit…DO USE THEM!

This is a review for Homesafetransit not my mover they found for me. I will include comments on them later in this review. First off don't go through the broker to get a mover. They found me a mover who could handle my move in the time frame i had but they also took $1500.00 to do so. The person i spoke with about my mover was so far off in pricing. I paid double what he quoted me and my mover told me that is what usually happens. Besides getting me a mover, i also thought the price was good so after contacting 3 companies i went with Homesafe and i am regretting it. The person who quoted and said that i could contact him at any time during my move is now always unavailable. I was told i would be contacted 7-10 days before my move date to go over my inventory but they never called. I called 3 times before getting someone to send me the list and ask if i had any changes. They didn't review anything. Since they didn't the mover had 1 wardrobe box and had to go to a local store to buy more boxes and tape. The movers they hired were very unprofessional. Not like any movers i have worked with before and i have moved a few times. No picture boxes and many boxes overloaded. Despite this i have no other complaints against my mover. They originally told me it was going to be a week or 2 before my stuff was delivered. Luckily they had a truck leaving the next day so we did not have to wait that long. They told us 4-5 days but i had to call a few times to get an actual delivery date. It was 7 days. The move in was good but they did not assemble anything like the bed but still asked for a tip. I can't say a lot bad about the mover because the only thing broken was a mirror, one of the cheap ones from Target or Wal Mart for about 10 dollars. They transported my Harley, with out a crate and it arrived perfect. No scratches, dents or problems. That is the reason i can't find a lot wrong with the movers. All i can say is don't use these people for long distance moves. If you have to be sure and do a virtual tour of your household goods. Maybe that way you will get a more accurate quote.

Steer clear of this company

Steer clear of this company. Never ever go through a middle man broker to move you. Go straight to the source. They were a week late picking up my stuff then had to find a new mover. New mover was awesome by the way. These people treated me terrible and very non compassionate. I had to depend on neighbors to get my stuff on a truck with new mover since I had to fly out next morning home. It was a hot mess to say the least. Home safe was just down right rude and nasty. Besides the fact were very bad communicators. I had to do all the work, calling, wondering constantly when they were going to show up. Never once did they ever reach out to me to keep me updated.

Worst moving experience

I’ve had a lot of bad moving experiences but this was by far the worst. I first want to say Homesafe Transit sales dept is extremely dishonest. They intentionally undersized my load to me a dollar amount then made me deal with it when the movers showed up. It ended up costing me double to get my stuff moved. They also led me ti believe they have their own movers. They don’t. They hire 3rd party. They also said I would have my stuff picked up and dropped off in the same day. That also did not happen. I have lots of other complaints but I’ll end on this one, I didn’t not receive all of my stuff and a lot of my stuff that I did received was damaged. Extremely unprofessional. I seriously regret hiring them to move my stuff. Hopefully someone with a legal background can and will file a lawsuit against them and bring them to justice for scamming people like this.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They will give you an estimate that is appealing and then will drastically increase the price day-of when you have no other choice. I had significantly less stuff than the estimate was for, confirmed several times, and my price was STILL increased by 75% day-of. I tried to discuss with customer service and they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. They told me the price was increased due to the distance of the move, which did not change from the time of the estimate. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.
