My home is fully double glazed - I'm not sure why it is described as mostly double glazed

I was looking for a reasonable price for an EPC and came across Homescore who were priced at almost half of what my estate agent wanted to charge.

I received a call the next working day and the appointment was booked for three days after that with an hour time slot of 9-10am. The assessor was on time, and it took roughly 3/4 of an hour.

The report was available that evening on the EPC website and Homescore emailed me a copy the following day.

I was very happy with the service - all completed within a week.

The inspection was done on 22/5/2017 and the EPC was eventually issued on 1/6/2017 but showed the inspection date as 22/5/2016. It failed to reflect that a " lean-to" room had been converted to a proper utility room which had been fully insulated and covered by a building regulations certificate. The revised EPC was issued on 9/6/2017 but failed to comment on the lack of cavity wall insulation in the main part of the house or state an indicative cost for the work (even though the rating did account for it).

After doing an online booking the call centre rang me back the same day.
The very friendly/helpful lady accommodated my request for a quick assessment. The assessor turned up on time and was very professional. The EPC report was issued promptly.

Booked the EPC online, left the key for the surveyor. Got phone call to confirm. EPC received via email. Bish bosh job done - easy!

Efficient, effective, professional, quick, low cost ( compared to other companies) what's not to like? ! No hesitation in recommending.

Low price for what is mostly a useless EPC report. Lost 1 star as assessor was 45mins late - but otherwise I got the report for half the price the agent wanted to charge :)

Engineer came on time, got on with the job by waking around un assisted. Advised me that will update the epc on the website on the same day - I checked the website and it was there. He also told me what the rating would be as I happened to ask him that at the property. Following day I got an email with the epc certificate attached on to it.

My customer experience was great even when I was booking the engineer appt. I had a issue with a crack window. So I asked should that matter if I get the assessment done prior to getting my window fixed. Lady who book this appt went away to check the details and came and said yes so when we booked the appt provisionally anyway and she gave me a number to call if necessary to re-arrange the appt. I did not have to use that option.

When I was booking the epc assessment it was straight forward and took only few minuets and I received a call few hours later to book the engineer appt in coupe of days time.

My experience was really good from start to finish.
