SCAM: AVOID AT ALL COSTS – Extremely Aggressive Sales Tactics and Serious Concerns

I should have listened to the 1-star reviews. If it were possible, I would give negative stars.

From the very beginning, the experience was highly uncomfortable. The salesperson visited my home to provide a quote, and I clearly stated I was waiting to compare other quotes before making a decision. Despite this, I was subjected to relentless pressure.

Shortly after, both the sales manager and someone claiming to be the company director contacted me repeatedly, each time lowering the price and making promises that I now believe were misleading. What was most concerning was that they refused to leave my property when asked, continuing to pressure me until I eventually felt forced into paying a £4,000 deposit just to get them to leave. This happened in August.

Since then, the situation has escalated significantly. I have pursued formal action, including obtaining a warrant. A bailiff attended their listed business address, only to report that no such business exists there.

Based on my experience, I strongly urge others to take the negative reviews seriously. The positive reviews do not reflect what I went through. Despite still appearing active and “listed” online, I have serious concerns about the legitimacy of this business.

What a fantastic company.. a family business and I felt like family too!

What a fantastic company. Everyone from the Sales team to the admin staff to the fitters were of just great. The teams were incredible working in such horrid wet weather, very professional and a real credit to the company.
Every aspect of my interaction and communication with Homestyle has been top quality and a real pleasure.

Every bit fitted from the Soffits, gutters and Hardy boards to the back door and french doors were done with care, expertise and total professionalism. A real top quality job. Lovely to work with a local family company and I felt part of that family!

Again, i would like to thank you all for your care and professionalism in the work you have undertaken for me. My house looks loved again!

Disappointing experience, would not recommend

From the start, the experience felt wrong.
The sales agent who advertised the product left the company the day after we signed the contract, and from that point on there was no communication or proper contact with anyone else.
Customer service was extremely poor:delays, unanswered emails, and no solutions. Despite promises of premium materials, the door developed a closing issue after just one month.Tried to reach them several time. NO ANSWER!
No warranty or insurance was ever provided, despite being promised. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company!!!

Scam/Fraud

Hi everyone, like other people Homestyle Windows (now called Ecoreflect Windows Direct) have taken my deposit and are not carrying any work or refunding the money. I i have reported them everywhere and unfortunately the bank wont treat this as a scam or fraud. Has anyone taken their refund eventually directly or through the bank/small claims court? Any information would be quite helpful.

Avoid This Company – Six Months of Failures, Full Replacement Needed, and Still No Resolution

I previously left a negative review about Homestyle Windows but removed it at the request of one of their directors, who personally asked me to take it down and assured me that the company would “make things right”. I regret giving them that trust, because the situation has only become worse, and I feel compelled to warn others.

To provide context, the first installation six months ago was riddled with major issues. The windows were installed with dust and debris trapped inside the triple-glazed units. Drill dust, plastic shavings and brick fragments were sealed behind the glass after the installers ignored my wife’s warning about unclean frame seals. Several of the glazing panels had visible marks and particles inside the sealed units. The silicone finishing was of extremely poor quality. Even the bifold door did not close properly. On top of that, the external vents were mismatched in colour, and the overall product delivered did not match the smooth black finish we had explicitly requested multiple times. These issues were so extensive that a simple repair was not feasible, and a full replacement of all affected windows and frames was required.

After months of delays and excuses, Homestyle finally arranged a complete replacement. To their credit, the new installation team of four who arrived on the agreed date were excellent—professional, thorough, and working to a far higher standard than the original installers. We genuinely thought that after six months of frustration, this was finally going to be resolved.

But yet again, the manufacturing side failed catastrophically. As the installers peeled off the protective film from the newly supplied frames, the paint came off with it. This exposed unprimed PVC and made it immediately clear that the frames had been manufactured without proper primer and with only a thin single coat of paint. The installation team openly confirmed this was another manufacturing shortcut and said that new profiles would need to be supplied by the factory for them to return and fix the issue.

That was almost two months ago, and since then Homestyle Windows has gone completely silent. They have not replied to a single one of my emails or calls. They have not provided any update, timescale, or acknowledgement.

To make matters worse, the installation was left unfinished because they were expecting correct replacement profiles. As a result:
• the securing trims are not fully snapped in
• no silicone has been applied
• the external finishing is incomplete
• the windows are effectively left in a temporary state
• the work is still not signed off

So after six months of original problems, followed by a full replacement, I am now stuck with another defective set of frames, an incomplete installation, and a company that has once again vanished the moment responsibility and cost fall to them.

This company demonstrates a consistent and deeply concerning pattern:
• friendly sales staff
• sometimes excellent installers
• but terrible manufacturing standards
• and management who make promises, ask for reviews to be removed, then disappear when the real work and accountability are required

I strongly urge anyone considering Homestyle Windows to avoid this company entirely. The risks are simply too high, and the cost of their failures, both financially and in stress, is not something I would wish on anyone.

Ordered a new front door, end of August had the survey and tried to contact them today to find out they have gone into bankruptcy, list out on our deposit money, hoping to get this back via the bank, they clearly were in financial troubles but still took orders and deposit total scam especially in these difficult times!! Biggest scams ever

I ordered windows and doors end of July been told within 6_8 weeks .after 8 weeks I gave them a call seems like no one new what they were doing and was keep telling me that.someone will call yiu back but they never did .I had enough I went all the way to thier office in Hounslow and found out that they moved from there and the phone numbers don't work anymore. They run off with my £2500 what an scum .it shows on company house that they are still active but don't have an office. If anyone knows where they have moved or any news about them pls let me know

Shocking - this fake company changed its name to EcoReflect

This fraudulent company has changed its name and website to EcoReflect Windows Direct. please be aware!!! if you need to ask for a refund, go to their new address and call their numbers. It's shocking that Companies House allows this to be done as the company just keeps changing name and committing more frauds!

They will expect your payment but not respond when your works remain incomplete with snagging problems. We have been trying for weeks to contact the “project manager”. Take your money elsewhere and use a company that follow through on their promises.

Would not recommend

I wouldn’t recommend this company.
The windows delivered and installed were not what we were sold by the salesman that came to the house. The widths of the frames and style didn’t match what I had been promised. Bitterly disappointed with what I received.
The company had promised delivery by a certain date and didn’t. They were impossible to get hold of for weeks to the extent that I was sure I had been completely scammed after paying the deposit.
When the installers arrived they claimed they didn’t have to finish the inside, despite it being in the contract.
I wouldn’t recommend using this company and from reading reviews on other forums this is a very common experience.
I think the fact that the logo and name on trust pilot is different to the website shows they are trying to avoid actual reviews from customers.

2 months ago broke a mechanism from a window, and I sent an email to come fix it. They came with a handle, they changed the handle, but were not able to repair the mechanism, and I stayed with the window stuck in the bathroom. They said that the parts of the doors and windows are not under warranty after 1 year. Do not buy windows and doors from HOME STYLE WINDOWS, I made an order to them of 14000 pounds and said that I would receive windows and doors in 2 months. They came with windows and doors after 7 months. At this time, they did not answer the phone or emails.
During the installation, you have to sit next to them because they do not do well what they do.
I said it wouldn't happen to me, but it did. Do not call the services of HOME STYLE WINDOWS, NEVER THEY ARE COWBOYS.

We have had to report them to the FCA and police for fraud!

Please be aware that this is a scam company associated with Homestyle Windows and Doors. DO NOT USE - We have had to report them to the FCA and police for fraud! They do not have a real phone number just a remote answer service. The number given to us by the FCA told us they have made all staff redundant. We agreed to purchase all new windows and doors for our remodel from them. Sale seemed ok and initial quick review looked ok. Wish I had dug deeper!! It turns our they have an long track record of visiting 'clients' taking deposits and disappearing. Please Please AVOID at all cost.

Avoid like the plague...

By far - the worst building services company it has ever been my misfortune to contract with. I ordered a conservatory and patio door replacement in 2023 - which took 1.5 years before finally being completed, which I suppose makes me one of the lucky ones in that the work was actually completed to at least an acceptable standard.

However - this is after months of stress, threats of legal action, constant emails/phone calls etc. I can assure you that every comment about their lack of customer service is true - they will answer the phone but no one will be available and promises to call back never materialise. The support team is clearly a 3rd party contracted to do nothing but take the call.

I expect I would have continued to get the run-around but I finally lost all patience and went to their offices at the Vista Center in person. A dilapidated building in Hounslow now housing all manned of mixed businesses. Having hunted for their offices and eventually finding them (no floor or office number given) I refused to leave until getting written assurances they would complete the work they had contracted for - a significant inconvenience for me - but better then being ghosted or waiting for a callback that will never come.

If you are unfortunate enough to have entered into a contract with them - document every email, every promise, every discussion, every name. You'll need this information when you eventually need to raise an official grievance and engage the financial ombudsman or other legal avenues.

⚠️ Avoid Homestyle Windows at All Costs – Terrible Experience, Still Chasing Refund Months Later
I’m writing this review not out of spite, but to warn potential customers against using Homestyle Windows. My experience with them has been nothing short of appalling — from the aggressive sales tactics to the complete lack of customer service and accountability.

1. High-Pressure Sales and Misleading Practices
A sales representative visited our home and refused to give us any time to think about the offer. After lengthy negotiations, he insisted we sign paperwork and pay a deposit on the spot, leaving us feeling pressured and cornered.
Sadly, after reading other reviews, I discovered this is a common pattern with Homestyle — customers being rushed into decisions before they’ve had a chance to properly consider them.
2. Disorganised and Unprofessional Survey Process
A few days later, a surveyor turned up unannounced at our property without prior notice. I was in meetings and unable to accommodate, so I had to turn him away.
When the visit was eventually rescheduled, the surveyor arrived two hours late, refused to leave brochures, and then blamed us for making him late to his next appointment. Completely unprofessional from start to finish.
3. Cancellation and Refund Nightmare
After that experience, we decided to cancel the contract within the legally permitted timeframe, fully in line with their own terms and conditions. The Regional Sales Manager, Abdul Rana, confirmed twice via email that I would receive a full refund.
However, two months later, despite dozens of follow-ups, no refund has been issued. I’ve chased repeatedly — citing consumer law, the Consumer Rights Act, and their own policies — yet my emails have been ignored.
4. Non-existent Customer Support
I’ve called their so-called “complaints department” over 20 times, asking to speak with a manager. Every time I’m told no one is available and that I’ll get a call back — which never happens.
There’s no escalation process, no accountability, and no functioning customer service system. The company clearly has no intention of resolving issues or honouring their commitments.
5. Financial and Personal Stress
I’ve been left thousands of pounds out of pocket because of Homestyle’s unethical business practices. My partner has had to pick up extra shifts at the hospital to help cover the loss, and the stress has been so severe that I’ve needed time off work to deal with the fallout and legal correspondence.
I’ve since had to involve solicitors and the Financial Ombudsman to recover the money that rightfully belongs to me.

Worst company to purchase from

Home style windows is one of the worst companies. I have renewed my whole windows, my kitchen door and my entrance door with them and I’m not satisfied with their product quality, with their customer service and with their engineers. I been having issues with my main entrance door for over a year, they came couple times and still the issue is not fixed. The locks are getting stuck and it scratches the floor surface. For my windows, I had to get them 3 times to fix the issue. Their engineers are doing a very poor job, and their customer service is shameful. They just care about your money, once you have paid, they don’t care about you at all. They are not cheap at all, and I feel I have been scammed by homestyle windows. This company needs to be investigated and taken to court.

If I could rate this company 0 stars…

If I could rate this company 0 stars then I would.
Had a front door installed which wasn’t done correctly. The engineers came out to fix it. They managed to damage the door and made a massive crack in it. Was told by the engineer that they would replace the door. Had no contact since then. I’ve emailed Becky and Sharon on numerous occasions but haven’t had a reply. Tried calling but the number isn’t working anymore. Will contact the ombudsman. Very disappointed!

Scammers

Awful experience. Ordered 5 new windows at an excellent price. Was promised delivery in 4/5 weeks. They have stopped responding to my emails for the last 10 days and I can't get through their phone anymore. I've looked online and realised 2 days after I paid my deposit for the windows HMRC opened a case against them for unpaid taxes. This is not the first time the company goes into compulsory liquidation, they robbed people all the deposits they could before going bankrupt. Report as fraud
