Overall we were satisfied with how everything went. Yes, there were a few hiccups, and fee's for their services, but with a little work and some patience, everything worked out in the end. We used homeward for both the buying / selling process, and also for the loan. The rate seemed like it might have been a little high, and the process want easy, but it wasn't too difficult either. The people were friendly, and other than so many different people being involved, it process went well.

Great process from beginning to end. The communication and knowledge of the team were top-notch, especially considering they are new to our market. (Oregon) I will not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends and may use them again in the future.
Be aware, like any service you use, there are some bumps that might occur. The critical piece for me is how the team you are working with communicates those and handles them. Our support at Homeward was top-notch with quick responses to any questions and issues that we had.
Every Homeward employee I had contact with was positive and professional. Having said that, It was challenging to identify the right person to talk with.
I think it would be helpful to provide a list of employees working on the account, their role, and contact information.

I am selling to Homeward, for them to sell to a final buyer, and the whole process has troublesome. Way to much hackling about price, change to final closing date a few days before schedule. Still wondering if the sale with finalize.

Homeward is absolutely amazing. We wouldn’t have been able to become first time home owners with the housing market the way that it is right now. They made our offer the most appealing that they seller had. Their team is absolutely amazing and supportive. They answer all of the questions that we had and they treated us closer to family than just customers.
Homeward as a program is fine. There's definitely a lot of uncertainties and that's a risk you take with a buy before you sell program.
The problem is, there's too many people to deal with, and none of them are particularly helpful. I was contacted out of the blue and told by them that I can't qualify for a mortgage (despite being approved by other lenders) and it turned out they weren't using accurate income figures or debt calculations. When I asked why, the person told me they didn't know, they were just working the weekend and helping out. Thanks.
The loan assistant, Kym, got in touch, changed some figures, but still couldn't give me any detailed info. She promised she would get back to me with a detailed breakdown. Two days later, I got approved for a mortgage with them, but never heard back.
Most recently, they decided to lower my home value and when I asked why, I was presented with non-answers, fabricated statements, and a general lack of understanding of their own product. It wasn't until the relationship had already been damaged that I received the answers I was looking for (and the valuation I expected), but this was from someone who I was told couldn't actually contact me. Another misleading statement.
If you get the right advisor/loan officer (I'd stay away from Lauren, Seth and Kym), maybe you'll have a good experience, but mine was challenging. I gave them every opportunity to earn and keep my business, despite their rates and loan terms being extremely non-competitive, and they didn't take it until it was too late.
I had a great experience with Homeward and Homeward Title, when buying a new house as a cash buyer and being able to move before the old house was sold. I feel their services were reasonably priced for what they provided; they communicated well throughout the process.
I did not however choose Homeward finance and lost a .5% fee reduction since they did not seem to communicate much at first and then were trying to lock my rate and the numbers weren't close, still had a 13K funding fee & other amounts that didn't seem right on the prelim CD while trying to lock my rate.
This would be a 5-star rating If the Finance company would have done a better job, but I went with a different finance company.

This company shows a shameful lack of respect or regard for the people it has to deliver homeward to .
Yet again after another sarcastic phone conversation with one of your operators as you were over a week late with a due delivery ,you then insist on delivering at 6.45am ! My husband is stood outside to try and ask your driver to please not slam his doors as our 8 year old Daughter suffers from CVS among other acute conditions and you can bet he wont listen .he always comes outside sociable hours
example 6.30am or 10.30pm !
We get this service as for a long time we were actually out of their "area for delivery " and during pandemic (which we are still sheilding from covid, it's still out there !) They would send her feed and tubes ,syringes etc with anyone passing by their door I think ,we have video footage of her feed coming with a very dirty man on his very dirty old ,van full of gardening gear and chemicals! When my husband complained and refused delivery ,THIS company was rude and consequently phoned our local level 2 hospital dietician and said we refused delivery and so must be starving our Daughter ! It doesnt take brain of Britain to work out we had some in reserve or we wouldnt have done this ! I am glad we did have some in reserve .

UPDATE ,so just spoke to your Driver (This Gentleman was listening and curtious ) ,Apparently he has already done 5 drops and got another couple to do in our area of Colchester ,At this time in a morning ! Plus apparently We (according to nutricia ) are the only people they deliver to here hence the difficulties with times of deliverys etc.
