The app kept crashing during payment

The app kept crashing during payment, forcing me to re-enter all my details five times. Each time, the hotel price increased, adding unnecessary pressure.

As a result, I accidentally booked for the wrong night. I immediately contacted customer support to correct the mistake, but they refused to change the dates. In the end, I paid double for a reservation I didn’t use.

Avoid this unreliable and deceptive website at all costs.

Please stay clear from them

Please stay clear from them. Saving a few bucks seems attractive, but if anything happens and you require their help, you will have a really hard time. In my case, the airline changed the flight and Hopegoo was supposed to change my tickets. I originally had a direct flight from Singapore to Pune. Hopegoo changed the ticket and their website was showing a later flight direct from Singapore to Pune but just a few hours later which would have been ok. What actually happened is that they booked a flight from Delhi to Pune, and a later flight from Singapore to Delhi. So unless they have a time machine in Delhi there's no way I could have made the flight to Pune. Worse is that on Hopegoo website, they still showed me a direct flight from Singapore to Pune. If I didn't double check with the airline I would have showed up to the airport without a confirmed flight! I called their customer support multiple times, every time having to re-explain my case which shows their lack of ticketing system and ability to handle issues. They were unabled to call me back, always waiting for me to call them. They can't use whatsapp or any other digital means to follow up on the issue. They told me that they will get me another flight, but apparently they were unable to and forced me to accept a refund. I ended up buying a new ticket on the same day I was supposed to fly, costing me a hefty sum.

They don’t care about the customer only profits

I booked a flight with tongcheng early this year in March and a couple of days after my booking there was a flight cancellation and my flight was rescheduled to three days later after my original date(14/08/2025) changed to (17/08/2025) even though there was a flight available on the 15/08/2025 they changed me to a flight 3 days after my original date. They failed to inform me of this change, they failed to make any direct communication with me and made this new date confirmation without my consent or any form of direct contact with me, they acted on my behalf without my consent. I recently checked my flight flight as my flight is coming up in 3 weeks and I noticed that there seemed to be an error on my flight on the airline website, it displayed that my original date the 14th of August was greyed out and the new date of the 17th was displayed as my new adjusted date that I was unaware of, and it seemed to be a date change. I immediately contacted 同程 to question this issue as on their website it still displayed that my flight was on the original date of the 14/08/2025 that I booked and there had been no changes to my flight and received no communication of any change. I have to attend a friends wedding in Mauritius on the 16th of August, I’ve already RSVP’d 6 months ago and they already paid for my attendance, I booked my flight tickets and hotel ahead in advance as it’s always cheaper to book flights ahead of time. my original flight was booked for the 14th of August from Malaysia as it was cheaper for me to fly from Malaysia instead of Shanghai by 4000rmb so I adjusted my schedule and booked accommodation and a trip to Malaysia prior to my flight and intended to stay in Malaysia for 5 days before my flight to Mauritius. also from Malaysia to Mauritius this flight and it was a direct flight with no stop overs as I have a big phobia of flying and needs small breaks in between and this was the best way for me to fly so I based my whole trip on my departure from Malaysia because of this direct flight, i then continued to book hotels in Malaysia too amongst other expenses. instead of changing my new date to the 15th of August to accommodate the flight cancellation they rescheduled me to the 17th of August and didn’t inform me of the rescheduling trying to force me to pay 12000CNY extra to change my flight to 15th out of my own pocket even though their website displays that my flight is still due to take off on the 14th, they changed my booking to a date I didn’t chose without my consent and they failed to contact me months ago about this change. even if they did email me or contact me their website still displays that my flight is due to take off on the 14th August. They refuse to fix my booking or take responsibility for their breach of contract

Ive never spoken to so many people who lack common sense like these people ! Called them in advance to make changes upgrade ticket and add luggage to the booking they telling me to do it myself i call the airline they say they should be making the changes because they made the reservation!! Why did i book with you then you are unable to provide a service as simple as this! To save your self and money don’t use them !

I booked a flight from Shenzhen to Bangkok recently from Skyscanner and it took me to Hopegoo.com. I booked the flight but then I thought about reading reviews and that made me a bit skeptical. A day before the flight I tried to verify my flight on the airline's website using my booking ID and PNR number but wasn't able to. I contacted the Hopegoo's support and they were very quick with the response. They told me not to worry and my flight is confirmed and booked. I even called the airline to confirm and verify, and it was confirmed that the flight was booked. So had a good experience overall!

Fake fares to collect customer information

This is a new front website for ly.com (which has a terrible Trustpilot rating)

I found a fare with ly.com onon Google Flights. Their fare was priced significantly lower ($20-50) than booking with the airline direct. When I clicked on the link I was taken to Hopegoo.com (not ly.com). When I went to book the website collected all my customer information then at the very end of the process gave an error message.

I searched the flight again on the website, found it, added it to my card, and then at the very end again the website said the fare is no longer available. I repeated the process a third time and got the same result.

Very scammy website

Very scammy website. There was an issue with their site when booking 2 tickets. I contacted them immediately within 5min of booking to ask for help. They wanted to charge me $308 for any changes or cancellation.

I said it was an issue with their site so they said they will look into it and to wait 24-72 hours.

The next day(today) I went to customer support again and asked for status and they said they found nothing wrong on their side and that they offered a special refund to me yesterday(the day I booked)

I asked what was the special refund and they would not tell me. I asked multiple times but they kept avoiding the question or just not telling me what it is. They keep telling me they told me yesterday.

I said I was not told or informed of any special refund and I was only told to wait 24-72 hours for a response.
So then they say they cannot apply the special refund now since its been over 24 hours. like wtf??
All they had to do was help make a change on my booking because of their website issue, but they would not.
I now have to report it to my credit card company which is a huge hassle...
