The RF Flight Simulator is just as advertized and when I first had issues setting it up my computer they solved it quickly thru their chat line. Very satisfied
I had some problems with my Realflight working so I emailed Horizon for help. They emailed me back to set up a time to call me! They worked with me over the phone and got my problems solved. Now that is good service. Thank You Horizon
I contacted horizon regarding an issue that I had with the 64mm viper main wing connection. When I connected the wing I accidentally broke the tiny servo connection and I contacted Eflite. Richard was able to help me and I was very surprised by the level of service he provided. eflite rc planes are the best value and the service is great!
Terrible!!! Just dont buy anything from this company!! You´ll wait forever for your stuff, will come all broken and you´ll never get a functional thing!!!
Customer support is by far one of the worst I´ve ever encountered not to mention the shipping process!!!

Horizon Hobby's Arrma RC vehicles are terrific. Besides the vehicles having good quality/durability, they don't use proprietary battery connectors on their RC vehicles, so you're not locked into only using their brand of batteries. Arrma also has great prices on their vehicles especially when compared to other vehicles made certain other popular brands. Their customer service has been top notch when getting parts replaced under warranty. They respond quickly and have been friendly and helpful every time. Would strongly recommend Horizon
While I disagree with the general policy, Customer service was responsive via email and made it right via credit. This shows integrity and is appreciated.

The esc failed on my new losi 10 minutes into its first use..
Called into technical support and spoke to jason, he was great..
He helped me out, got a replacement part coming and was just so friendly..
horizon hobby used to be good but now they have the worst customer support. i ordered a plane the timber 1.7 two weeks ago still have not got it. hobby king and motion rc are clear choices over horizon… im a very unsatisfied horizon customer…

Horrible customer services I've ever had. I just ordered an item it showed me $101 until i received there email stated your total is $168. So i wanted to cancel it right aways like 2 minutes passed by they tell me we cant cancel your order. "Im like what" i even called and told to cancel the order same answer we cant we are sorry. They are not sorry at all. Will never buy from this company ever again. Item is not even marked as shipped and i cant cancel it at all.

They shipped me a broken product and refused to take a return or fix it. They told me to call the vendor even though it was broken straight out of the package that I ordered from them. Possibly the worst customer support experience I’ve ever encountered and my son’s main Christmas present is a $300 useless pile of plastic. Can’t wait for this company to go bankrupt and based on my experience it won’t be long.

Recently bought a DX6C transmitter, which is an excellent product.
Easy to program with a clear instruction manual and allows me to insert up to ten cars.
Before I had of course a lot of questions via E-mail and they were fast an clearly answered.
In the past I bought from Horizon four E-flite RC planes and they are also of the same perfect quality with the same excellent service.
I purchased an RC duet plane for my son for a Christmas gift. We are not new to the hobby world. Weather conditions were great. It broke on the first flight. Horizon Hobby will not return the product. This plane was 79.99 and is marketed as a level 1 beginner plane that broke on the first flight. To pay 79.99 for something so fragile seems as almost theft on their part. Also, be careful with the reviews on their website as the reviews are screened and not every review is posted. I will never order from Horizon Hobby again.

I have been flying rc planes for a couple of years now. I always had cheap little rc planes until I upgraded to one of the apprentice propellor plane models. I also purchased a habu ss edf jet because I was having so much fun flying. As I learned more about the hobby and about the aircraft I was flying, I realized that a NX 8+ transmitter would be a perfect transmitter for me to get as I got more involved in the hobby.
It is safe to say my plans backfired after I received the transmitter. I ran into one seemingly SMALL issue where I needed to activate my old account through my email. I searched throughout my email and found a confirmation code from around 11 months ago. This link did not work anymore so I did what anyone else would do, I contacted customer support for a fresh activation code. (this may not seem like a big deal, but in order to register and update the transmitter, you need to be signed into a certain type of spektrum account)
This is when I began to lose patience because I had sat for hours and hours trying to get in touch with the customer support team and sign into my account. The first person I talked to on the 24/7 chat gave me hope when he sent me directions to my email. Turns out, the directions he sent me had nothing to do with the problem I was trying to solve. He specifically said in the chat that I could reply in that email thread if I had questions or concerns. I sent an email and never got a response. I tried getting in the chatroom again but to no avail. I also tried calling in to the customer support line but it was a pre recorded message telling me no one is available to help.
Overall, I am looking return the NX8+ transmitter and look for something else that better suits my needs. I had always enjoyed shopping around the horizon hobby section at the hobby shop. After dealing with their customer support and spending hundreds of dollars all to be disappointed time and time again, I have come to the conclusion that it is not worth my time or money to shop with them. I hope they see this message and can figure a couple things out. Good luck

Made an online order of Broadway Limited Santa Fe Blue Goose. The webpage description said it had.was a DCC model with sound. What arrived was a model with no sound and DCC ready. After waiting for almost 2 hours on the phone, I opted for a call back. When I received the call, they blame Broadway, anfd ignored my concern about their incorrect info. They offered me a return, but I had to pay for shipping, and said to contact Broadway to get get them to pay for shipping. A $24 lesson to never order from them again.

I Recently made over a $800.00 purchase. Ok here we go it didn’t arrive on time according to Their date of arrival,that’s not so much a big deal. My Big complaint is their customer service it is Horrible. Every time I call there is a wait time I mean at Least 45 minutes,R U Kidding Me! I talk to my Dr. quicker. So I always hit option 1 o my phone for a call back. Sometimes it’s the next day,at least 3 to 4 hrs. Later. I think I know why now because I’m not an Elite member! I have the standard membership which is free. You could spend $1,500.00 per year,meaning you have to and get better service or their is even a better plan which you would speak to someone right away,in the technical department, just to answer your questions that’s absolutely Very Poor customer service. It shouldn’t matter what plan your on like I said I spent over $800.00 my first time. I call Traxxas and speak to a technician right away,Really! Imagine if a product was broke that you bought for your 10 year old son and had to wait that long,even longer like 24 to 48 hrs. For emailing. If they don’t change their custermer service I will Never buy from Horizon Hobby again!

Not one for writing reviews but as most folks only do so with a negative experience I figured I would throw my two cents in regarding the good I have experienced with the Horizon/Tower Hobby folks. Several RC plane/component orders over the last few years and with that a couple small issues with product quality.....typical of most manufacturing these days. With that said, I have received nothing but top notch support from these guys in both communication and resolution of the issues, in both cases the resolution exceeded my expectation with replacement products shipped quickly. I have no reservations recommending these folks for both sales and service and I will be placing another order with them in the upcoming days.
I ordered an RC car for my son for his birthday. Upon ordering, the item was stated to be in stock on the website. I checked to see if the item had shipped 5 days after ordering, only to see awaiting shipment. They guarantee 3-5 business day shipping. I call and find out the item is actually on back order. An entire month later, we are still waiting for shipment. I call and was 18th in line. So I sent an email to cancel the order. Later that day, they shipped the item. Now I’m responsible for return shipping costs. This was a mistake on HH end, not the customer. Had the site stated back ordered like it actually was, and not in stock which was false, I would’ve never purchased from HH.

I've been a customer for many years. Due to circumstances I let my flying lapse. But I'm recently back and bought the new Night Vapor. I had a few questions and your response was fast and very helpful. It's reassuring to know I have this great service.
I bought a 70mm viper and had trouble programming thrust reverse.

I am writing this review in response to a warranty replacement. In my personal experience I have always received great service from Horizon Hobby. I own a lot of their products so have have had to contact their support team quite a few times over the years. They have always been responsive and friendly and they have always taken care of my issue to my satisfaction. Horizon has many brands under their umbrella and they do business internationally. For a "hobby company" that has this much reach globally, I would say that they do a great job and have great support. When you compare this with the cost of most of their products I would say they offer a great value to the consumer. I have not had the same experience with Horizon's competition.
