I have been with them for 7 years, opened my account back when it was A2. I have left several 5 star reviews based on their previously awesome tech support. I hate leaving bad reviews, especially considering how much I liked this company... but tech support is just absolutely incompetent now.

Gede Wahyu resolved my issue within 5 minutes. I've been talking with your ai chat bot for the last 2 days they it keep telling me the same thing on repeat. horrible experience that ai chat. However Gede Wahyu came in and now i am good to go.
Please show a way for people to speak to a human if they find themselves in a ai loop. put a clearly defined button say "Talk to a human"

Daniel was very patient and thorough in trying to understand what my concerns were. He took the time to research the issues and then proposed solutions he implemented while I waited. He gave me an estimated time of when the resolution would take effect and urged me to call back if I had any further concerns.

I've been with just about every host in the 20+ yrs. I've done web sites. The past 10+ have been with A2 Hosting - I had a reseller account.
When hosting.com took over there were things I didn't like but nothing major. They still have a live person tech support, the servers are fast, and cost is reasonable given the quality and the market.
When I came up for renewal (triennially) I was steps away from going to another host because of issues that suddenly popped up. The company unilaterally cancelled my legacy hosting plan and switched me to more expensive reseller hosting. Then they told me there was nothing they could do - my legacy plan was gone. I had to accept the change.
It took me a dozen communications (chat, emails, and phone calls) and stress but in the end, they helped me stay with the company by working with me. This saved me dozens of hours of taking 20 cpanels (with multiple-dozens of email addys and DNS changes (I still shudder thinking of it) to another host. And it saved them a client who is happy to praise the people who helped.
I had to work to get the result I could live with but it was doable. Hosting.com does care about customers and their reps are very willing to help. At each level I was treated with compassion and respect and I hope the people I dealt with (especially Hernan in Customer Advocacy) are given at the least a pat on the back.
I'm with them for another three years and I couldn't be happier. I hope I can remain with them until I no longer do webdev.
Good on you, Hosting.com. I am still a fan.

24 hours of 15 seperate downtimes. Initially was adviced that it is my problem and i need a bigger plan, when bought a bigger plan, it was said that it is an ongoing problem with their server. Noone answers direct answer and says "its working now". Which is not acceptable.

There was a problem with crawling a site on a server and they moved the website to a newer server at no cost. Support has been always constantly ready to help. I work with the web since 2006 and the quality of support is a key point to choose a good hosting company.
