No need to have worried

Well i was worried reading these reviews! I bought some cuisinepro id3 pots and pans that came today and they look and feel quality with a decent weight to the set ! Delivery was quick considering the coronavirus situation. I used the frying pan today and it was good :-)

I ordered from this company 6 weeks ago. 1 item turned up - the rest missing. Sent loads of emails and used their online messaging service multiple times. No reply.

I will now have the pain of trying to get my money back somehow.

Terrible company, possible scam

Placed an order, received the automated confirmation and then nothing. Waited a week and still no dispatch email, emailed them 10 days after initial order and no response. Emailed again 2 days later and nothing. Fortunately I used Amazon pay and decided to go through them to get a refund as I had no confidence in HouseUK ever responding to me. 1 whole month later and I've finally got all my money back, and still no response from Houseuk. I really don't know if this is a genuine company or not.

DO NOT BUT ONLINE FROM THIS COMANPY, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING. Still awaiting response from HouseUK as is my niece, I placed an order on 30 March in the amount of £450, my neice placed an order on 27 March in the amount of £225 neither one of us has received anthing. I have reported the company to Trading Standards and Action Fraud UK. Furthermore I have contacted Amazon pay in order to advise of non receipt of.my order (am hoping they will refund me)

Very happy with purchase

I was worried after seeing some of these bad reviews. I ordered some chef knives. Order arrived within a few days and was sent via tracked ups. I’m so pleased with the knife set. Very high quality and for such a discounted price. Will definitely shop from them again

AVOID THIS DREADFUL COMPANY

AVOID THIS DREADFUL COMPANY. They didn’t send my full order, did not say anything and hoped I won’t notice. Did not respond to any of my emails for more than 15 days. They eventually did when I put a hold on the payment with my bank but matter still not resolved. They are a big scam!!
Update 29 May 2020: PayPal closed the case in my favour as Houseuk did not even bother to respond. Such an inconvenience for £10.98. I'd have given them 0 stars if I could. Such a horrible experience.

Ordered 4 mugs and one arrived broken

Ordered 4 mugs and one arrived broken. Emailed them immediately with a photo and got generic e-mail saying they will get back to me in 3-5 business days. That was on 2nd April and still no communication from them. All I want is my broken mug replaced! No way of contacting them apart from e-mail and just keep getting generic one. Very frustrating!

Avoid this dreadful set up!

Avoid this business, i ordered three items two were despatched, one out of stock and i am unable to get the refund, it has been three weeks, now answering phones and all you get is am email to confirm they have received your message. I am taking this further to ensure other people are NOT conned.
Please avoid - Be Careful!

Good service

I ordered a set of kitchen Knives from House UK. I had read the reviews and was slightly concerned with what was being written. However I cannot fault them for the service shown. My knives have arrived (within 4 days) and I am very happy with them.

Tea pot and set ordered beginning of January, nothing arrived. Started to get anxious, emailed them (no telephone number!!) No reply. Raised complaint with PayPal and received an email from House saying item out of stock and a refund within 5 to 7 days will be issued. Two weeks later nothing!! Surprise surprise.... now escalated with PayPal as a claim as I have no confidence in getting my money back from HouseUK. (Ordered a better teapot infused from Whittards with a nice discount, free postage and it arrived a few days later with excellent customer contact and service as it should be!) Wish I had read the bad reviews earlier!!!
UPDATE: HouseUK told me to close paypal claim before they could refund me. Contacted PayPal and they confirmed this was complete rubbish. Held claim open and PayPal refunded me accordingly for non receipt of goods as per their excellent guarantee. HouseUK are complete charlatans, spend your hard earned money elsewhere !!

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Having failed to deliver part of an order I asked for a refund. When someone eventually responded by email I was told I would receive a credit to my account within 5-7 working days. 10 working days later still nothing. Looks like the only way I might see this money is if I raise a dispute with my bank (which I intend to do) Only use this company at your peril.

DO NOT ORDER from here. This website is awful. I placed an order start of January and have still not received my order. They don’t have a valid contact number and have emailed 4 times since with NO response from this business. Quick to take your money without anything in return. Do yourself a favor, it may be cheap, but it’s not worth the hassle!!!!

Happy with my purchase!

I was very worried I had been subject to a scam after reading these reviews after making a purchase with HouseUK.com, but happily I found the customer service to be very helpful and quick. There was a small amount of confusion regarding my tracking number, as it applied to two separate parcels simultaneously. But my query submitted through the contact us page on the website was answered within a few hours.

DO NOT buy from them online! We did not receive some items from our order/some were broken and we have not been refunded for the missing items. Have been trying to contact them for 2 weeks, but phone lines are disconnected and no one answers emails.

Received only four items out of seven paid for. Three storage jars received were all broken due to poor packaging. Have emailed many times and called with no anwser. Disappointed as items were really nice, still not received other items paid for.

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Ordered 2 universal pan lids from this company beginning of December 2019. One lid arrived damaged. I have emailed them about 6 times with no response; tried the phone number on paperwork which never gets answered. I popped into the Bromley store twice only to be told they cannot refund or change my item as it was bought online, said they would report it to the general manager. Guess what I’ve had no correspondence from them either. It’s now 15 January 2020 and I’m left with a broken lid!! Avoid this company like the plague! I am going to Citizens Advice Bureau to see about my statutory rights!

Norwich Chapelfield Store

Went to the Norwich Chapelfield Store and Staff at the counter were rude and unhelpful, 3 staff members were sat up on the back of the counter chatting and laughing in my direction which made me feel very uncomfortable.

Having received poor quality items I have emailed the company three times for a returns number without which they will not accept any returns. Two weeks later I still have no reply. Obviously they make it impossible for customers to return goods for a refund. AVOID
