Shambolic and frustrating customer service

Shambolic admin.

Take your money. Then nothing. No reply to emails. Very telling there is no contact number for them. The other negative reviews are spot on.

I had an order confirmation email and an alleged TNT delivery number and tracking ID. Three days I have had it. TNT site doesn't recognise the numbers. I rang TNT. They looked under all three numbers, my name and my address... Nothing on their system. They haven't heard of me. I then rang a store who emailed head office who swear blind that my goods are in transit. But couldn't tell me when they were shipped or any details.

I bombarded them with emails and finally got a refund processed. Then two days after the refund, the goods arrived!

Just a shambles - shame as the goods and pricing looked competitive.

I placed an order with this company…

I placed an order with this company then saw the reviews on trust pilot (100% bad at the time) so I contacted them for reassurance. 4 days later no reply until I mentioned reporting as fraud then that day surprise surprise it gets marked as shipped. A week later I recieve my item ( but still no reply ) and I must say I am very please as the knife set looks stunning. However to this very day (2 weeks later) still not a single email from them. Customer service with these people is absolutely appauling they seriously need a training day on communication skills

It is a con

Avoid this company at all cost. I have received my order but the item is scratched and looks second. I am too embarrassed to offer it as a gift. I have emailed them many times and I am still waiting for their return number. I don t have much hope

Absolutely appalling Customer service

Absolutely appalling Customer service. Do not buy anything from/use this company. I sent an item back for a refund on 22 November. Despite numerous chasing emails, over 3 weeks later I have received no response and no refund. They should not be allowed to conduct business in the UK. DO NOT USE!!!!!!

Do Not Use. Unable to Return Items. Calls/Emails Ignored.

I want to return the items I bought from Houseuk.com for a refund. I have tried calling the 0800 085 7855 number provided, however, this rings out and is never answered. They state that you are unable to return an item without a Returns Authorisation number, so I have emailed the address provided three times in the past three weeks and to date my emails have been ignored and I have had no response. I paid via PayPal, so will be taking the matter further via them. I would strongly advise against using this company.

I placed an order on the 17 November for a LSA vase (usually shop with John Lewis who always give an outstanding service) but it was on offer. Worst mistake!!!! I receive a confirmation email on the same day and then nothing! You cannot call them so emailed 3 times asking where my order was. After 48 hours I receive an email from a Lavaniya on the 28 November stating that she cannot locate my order and that she has raised it with their tech team. So as you can imagine I was not happy to say the least. I responded and informed Lavaniya that I was not happy and for her to ask the manager to call me and that if I didn't receive a call from the manager I would contact the credit card fraud company to investigate. Surprise, surprise the next thing I receive is my order has been shipped. House UK need customer service training because the customer service team are absolutely useless! I was then asked to review my order before I even received it. House UK now that I have received my order on the 2 December I can review the product. The product is absolutely gorgeous but then I didn't expect anything less I always purchase LSA vases because they are made of a high quality. Now to review House UK and the service I received you deserve a big fat 0 you are absolutely useless and I will never shop with you again. I will stick with John Lewis who know how to treat their customers!

I wish I had read about this company before spending my money

I wish I had read about this company HOUSE UK before placing an order with them. How on Earth is this possible to scam people, take money and not deliver?! I have been emailing them for the last 10 days, asking politely, threatening them and nothing! Zero contact to explain what has happened to my order. I actually received a package from them, but it was not for me! it is a different customer who has missed out as well as me.I ordered mugs, and received baking utensils. This is hilarious. Please spread the word so that victim of HOUSE UK scam are limited. Also I have started a credit card dispute procedure to recover my money.

They have not disclosed any tangible phone number to call. Very clever! Why would thieves want to speak to scammed customers?!

Avoid !

Bought an infuser mug and lid which came damaged. The outer parcel was also damaged. Tried to call constantly rang off several times. Emailed complaint not heard from them regarding return or refund. would not buy from them again. Very disappointed.

SERIOUSLY AVOID

Absolutely awful customer service when ordering online. They took my money, sent a dispatch notification same day and still 10 days on, no communication, no tracking updates AND NO ORDER. I have contacted them 3 times and I have not heard a thing back. Seriously avoid, not worth the hassle...
