We are appointed by Insurers to impartially validate a Customers claim in line with the Insurance policy terms, claims guidlelines and where appropriate, offer a fair settlement value or provide access to the services of an approved building repair contractor. We do not receive any commission / reward from Insurers for the outcome or value of a Customers claim. We are paid a fixed amount to provide our opinion on the cause and value of a claim. HRNL has a network of individual building damage surveyors and repair contractors to aid in the validation and settlement of a claim across the UK.

Thank you HRNL for sorting roof repairs…

Thank you HRNL for sorting roof repairs and extensive water damage to my home caused by wild storms in January. It seemed a long time before repairs were started but can understand when I now realise the planning that had to be done to make sure that everything went like clockwork from furniture being taken away and returned a month later. Work now completed and am very happy with results.
I feel I have to mention that any phone calls I had occasion to make were answered immediately or was returned very shortly. This meant a lot to me so thank you Richard, Jenna and all those friendly people in AIM and Belfor.

Excellent service from HRNL following damage to our roof during the recent storm,
It was easy to contact them and Carolyn who dealt with us was friendly and helpful appointing quickly a surveyor and local roofer to fix the problem.

We have had quite a stressful time with…

We have had quite a stressful time with the situation at our home and damaged caused by a leak. Initially it seems like the surveyor who came out and did our initial assessment ,didn’t write up fully the problem which was concerning . Fortunately Ellie Stone listened thoroughly to our situation and once we provided more details and a builders report , the situation was resolved fairly quickly we were able to get the help that we really needed . I appreciate the company’s flexibility to re listen to our situation and not shut down the conversation.
So we are very grateful to Ellie for her patience and taking time to really understand the complexity of the situation and also for her politeness and kind manner .

John contacted me very quickly after my initial claim and was such a lovely person to speak to. He made everything clear and even helped me understand the cause of the damage to my window. No customer care.

Lack of contact and customer care 2 pensioners nearly 4 months of disruption and did our own work in the end. Well out of pocket.

My Mother’s Bathroom Repaired

My mother who is 84 and in poor health had significant water & rot damage in her bathroom. As a result she had to move out of her property for 3 weeks.
During this period Ami from HRN was very supportive, responding quickly in ensuring repairs could be undertaken asap. She was very understanding of the difficult circumstances my mum found herself in and her help was greatly appreciated.

Fantastic service from start to finish

Fantastic service from start to finish. My storm damage claim was referred by Direct Line to Home Repair Network Ltd. Within hours I received a telephone call from Cheryl to gain further information. She was friendly and efficient and explained what would happen next. My claim was then passed to John Arundale who was extremely professional and helpful. Communication was excellent and John responded very promptly to queries I had. I received a settlement figure within 24 hours of the storm damage occurring and payment received from Direct Line soon after. Many thanks for providing such a professional and prompt service.

Very impressed

I was really impressed with John who contacted me after we had our first break in after 34 years. Not only did he show empathy but put our minds at rest that it would all be sorted. He gave us clear understanding of the process and replied to any questions we had. It's been an awful week but John and all the staff have been absolutely brilliant. Very professional service.

Unfit to practice.…

This is an update on my previous review from February. In December my house was damaged by storm Darragh causing a hole in the roof and damage to the conservatory.A claim was lodged with Aviva who passed in on to HRNL. After nine weeks of chasing the hole in the roof was still open. Rain water and wind were blowing into the roof space and damaging the loft insulation and soaking two ceilings and walls. HRNL were chased and a surveyor visited. Nothing happened so i posted a review on here. I then had a phone call from ian Hoggarth who is the owner. He said he would arrange to get things sorted. A couple of weeks passed and still no action. In the meantime water is still coming into the roof. My daughters bedroom has water dripping through the ceiling and water running down the walls very close to electrical sockets. second bedroom is similar. I had two heavy duty dehumidifiers running 24/7. Eight litres a day was emptied from each. HRNL chased repeatedly but nothing. The plaster on the wall has blown, bits of the ceiling keep falling off on my daughters bed and HRNL's response is nothing. Yesterday I receive a phone to say they will pay a quarter of the ceiling cost but will not pay for the wall damage. They will not pay for the conservatory repairs as it is old. It is not that old and was a solid structure, now it leaks every time it rains.
Back in February they said they would arrange for driers to be supplied, nothing happened. My two dehumidifiers running 24/7 were costing me 35p an hour each. Nothing from HRNL about refunding that.
If you ever have to make a claim and are told you have been appointed hRNL tell your insurance to find someone else. They are totally not fit for purpose.
