Very respectful bank

Very respectful bank, they have respectful and time keeping staff with the customers. I went there to open a bank account and they treated me professionally and decently. They also do not discriminate against customers for any reason.

AXA Travel Insurance on Premier Card is Useless

Our credit card, HSBC uses Axa to cover its travel insurance policy. We pay an annual fee for this privledge. However, when it came time to use AXA, they have all these rules to basically cover them for now paying anything. Singapore is a small place, and people that live in Singapore do not only travel out of Singapore, but from international destinations onwards. AXA would not honor our travel claim because we did not depart for our trip from Singapore, but another destination. This makes the insurance pretty useless. But I'm sure, no matter what, there would be any excuse available not to pay. It would be something else, if not this. Insurance companies like AXA are good at collecting fees, but bad at doing what they should be doing, covering reasonable insurance claims. Do not buy an AXA policies, they are just helping themselves to your money, and lining their own pockets. Tell HSBC that AXA is not providing the service they should be, for HSBC customers. But, they are both probably in cohoots, which is why we'll be closing our HSBC Credit card this year, because the travel insurance, we have now learned is useless, which makes our HSBC Premier Card useless for paying fees for the "privilege" of having the card.
