Henry has just repaired two of my bags that I have used for many years - I am so grateful that he is doing this while retired !

Henry repaired my briefcase after 10 years of constant use, and the result is absolutely beautiful. The briefcase is good as new and I look forward to many more years of use.

I received a bag as a gift for my 16th birthday...in 2006! I've loved it to bits and used it heavily for over 15 years. Just last month I returned it to Henry to replace some of the stitching and now it's back with me, good as new... actually, better than new, as it's worn so well over the years.

I bought the Hunting Bag last Spring and I can confirm, without a doubt in my mind, this is the best bag I own! I actually wear it everyday since May and the bag still looks brand new.

Henry has the most amazing customer service and tailored the bag to the size & color that I wanted. He also made sure to send me the bag before I went overseas so I could have it before going.

I can't speak highly enough of this company - these are leather bags of absolutely stunning top quality, in the old-fashioned sense, so beautifully made they should be hanging up in an art gallery, but they're really durable, well designed and functional, up for everyday use year in year out - and not a plastic buckle in sight so it's all repairable! Henry is up for mods to his designs, but won't go along with ideas he knows won't work. The date on this review is the earliest I could input but I've had a couple of these bags for well over two years, and just bought a "Knapsack" and it's LUSH!!! Amazingly soft leather, you kinda forget you're carrying it.

These have the old-fashioned trouser-belt-style buckles, and even though these days I've got used to plastic quick release buckles, I've had so many of them release accidentally and a few break or split and become useless even on supposedly rugged mountaineering rucksacks, that I quite appreciate these old-fashioned brass buckles even if they take 1/2 second longer to do up.

NB the only downside with real leather is that it needs looking after; an untreated bag that gets regular soakings in the rain then dries out in front of a fire each time will just crack and split eventually same as leather walking boots - but if looked after properly it'll outlast the usual nylon/cordura/etc. If that's a problem and neglect is part of the requirement, best to go with synthetics.

Extremely pleased with the superbly made briefcase, delivered well ahead of time, to the exact specification described.

The service was friendly and rapid (the bag was made and delivered in time for a tight deadline) and the product of the highest quality. Very helpful advice about how best to care for the leather was also provided, unrequested.

My Satchel arrived today and what a nice surprise, looks fantastic and smells so nice, love that leather smell, workmanship is stunning. I know this Satchel will only get better with age, looking forward to traveling again in style.

I have had the pleasure of using Henry's bags and cases regularly for many years now and will not ever need to go elsewhere. These items are made to last a lifetime and are beautifully crafted with obvious passion and skill.

Beautiful bag, beautifully made. Henry is lovely to deal with and the finished product really is fabulous. A great deal better than anything you'd pick up in a shop or anything with a "label". Plus 100% of the money goes to the actual maker of the product. Really recommended.

It has taken me years to find someone to customise a bag to my needs. Henry has been a godsend and the final product has exceeded my expectations. He has been professional, supportive, understanding and realistic throughout the process to ensure that my needs for something different were met.
No high street retailer accommodates bags that can’t be carried either on the shoulders or in hands. Henry has adapted a ‘bumbag’ style bag that means i can carry more than what a small bumbag can offer.
It’s both practical and of high leather quality and I would/will recommend his services to anyone who needs something that doesn’t meet high street standards.
