We have nothing but trouble with this company’s terrible customer service. I won’t list all the issues we’ve had with them because I don’t think il live long enough to!
The main issues are that they tried to bodge the job until we stopped them. The stable walls were hanging off the brickwork. They tried to blame our brickies but it turns out that firstly, their plans were incorrect and then secondly they had measured one of the walls incorrectly and were trying to ‘make’ them fit. When the fitters left they did not ask us to check their finished work. We found that one of the stable doors was dragging on the floor, there were several dangerous nails sticking out and they had put a cheap handle on the outside. ( they had already admitted they had forgotten to bring the door furniture).
We complained about the issues and a team did return several weeks later to rectify.
Moving on to now. One of the front sliding doors is dragging on the floor. Barely movable. Have contacted the office and are on the receiving end of their dire customer service again. Have been told to supply a video and told it’s something we could do ourselves ( it isn’t ). No replies to recent emails. Wish we had gone elsewhere and have have advised this to anyone else we know who is looking to a buy an equestrian building 😢😢

Claire literally has the patience of a saint, she was amazing in dealing with the many quotes we asked for and then amendments galore. It’s a huge long term commitment and we wanted everything to be perfect. There was a lot of back and forth which she didn’t complain about once even though I know we must have been annoying for her!
The staff who came to erect the stables, Stuart and Immi were professional throughout and fantastic workers who cracked on with the job, not forgetting Bob who delivered part of the stables.
The quality of the stables is fabulous, we are in a very windy location so the stables being secured down was a must and all comes part of the package unlike some other companies.
We are really happy with the whole process start to finish. Can’t wait to get the next installation underway.

Very helpful staff during the ordering process. Clear instructions and requirements and specifications for installation. The installation was efficient and the quality of the shelter is excellent.

I’ve had many stables and field shelters from Hunters Stables over the last few years and I can honestly say the quality and workmanship is 5* and the guys that come and install them are always very professional and friendly
I’ll definitely only use Hunters and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality stabling

The whole thing was very efficient. Charlie in the office couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, the stable turned up exactly when they said it would, and the assembly and erection went smoothly.
We'll use you again if we need more stables.

From the first point of contact until completion this company provided a first class service. They supported me right through the whole process with exceptional knowledge, guidance and expertees. They accomodated my horses every need providing two beautiful fit for purpose field shelters built to an extremely high class standard. The co ordinator Claire kept me informed and updated from start to finish and her help and support was priceless, the installation team went out their way to accomodate and their craftmanship was of the upmost standard. All involved were professional, polite, experienced, knowledgable and skilled, their communication from start to finish was exceptional. I can not recommend this company enough and the product will speak for itself. One very happy owner and two extremely comfortable, safe, content equines.

We ordered a stable block with clock tower (ride through arch), hay barn and tack room. We are absolutely delighted with the result, anyone who visits comments on how impressive and well built they are.
The office staff (Claire) and the installers (all of them, sorry lads, too many to name, it was a big job!) have all been brilliant. Communication great, leaving everywhere tidy, helpful and smiley!
I love the metal edges to all the corners, the windows with sliding closers. The stables are bigger than average and feel massive due to the higher roof line. The option of the metal (looks like pantiles) roof isn't at all loud with the rain as I thought it may be. It adds a bit extra to the look and will last longer, I think, than onduline.
We have waited a long time to be able to design our stables. We originally chose a different company to build them and had a quote so knew exactly what we wanted and our budget. Having asked for a quote from Hunter previously I had a call from them asking how it was going and when I said I had decided on another company they asked if they could do a comparison quote. We worked closely with them and Hunter came up with a fantastic quote which not only was a better price but also better specifications.
We are so glad we chose Hunter and would recommend them to anyone.
We had to change the installation date because of delay in groundworks, this was easily and flexibly sorted.
Once finished, we had a few small snagging issues which were very quickly resolved and now we have the absolute perfect stable block which does everything we need it to do.

We bought a double field shelter and a single stable from Hunter, both ex-display, and couldn’t be happier. Great quality, adapted to our specification, delivered and assembled. All the staff we dealt with were excellent and the price was great too!

We have just had a u shape stable block installed and we are thrilled with it .
The week didn't start well as national grid decided to come in and dig up our land on the same day as the stables started going up .
But the guys Lewis and imi weren't phased and were a pleasure to have around worked hard and too a very high standard even given the welsh weather !!
No expense has been spared on the quality of all the components and already the stables have been greatly admired by our friends and neighbours .

I cannot thank Hunter Stables enough for the excellent work undertaken this week. Top quality and workmanship that is second to none, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. A massive thanks to all involved in the project both from the admin/sales side and also to the fantastic skills of Ant and his colleague (forgot your name I am so sorry!) both of whom travelled literally across the country to deliver and build our L-shape. We ordered a 12x18' Apex Field shelter for almost £4k with the extras.

Pros
1- Been simple to order
2- Speedy delivery
3- Friendly installation team
4- Good quality product
5- Sturdy construction
6- Fitters worked hard in extreme heat. We kept them well watered with chilled drinks but they're good working team.

Cons
Couple of small issues but these were sorted quickly with a return visit..

WOULD BUY AGAIN

Oh my, I was so super pleased with my double shelter, it’s exactly what I wanted - the quality is brilliant, the two fitters that came were exceptionally hard working, polite and basically just got on with it. Can’t fault it at all, if ever I wanted more shelters or stables I would definitely use this company, so happy today !
