Installation (myself) was super easy using the Automower App, mapping out the garden areas to cut or exclude was very easy.... and watching it from the Kitchen (or now doing other jobs with the time saved) is actually a huge treat!
Its been that good and I've been so happy with the performance and build quality - I am heading down to the dealer to look at a ride on mower and new trimmer. (Watch this space for another review).

Warranty is worth nothing as takes too long to get parts.. We have an 450X which was not cheap but was reassured by the 5 year warranty. We keep having issues with it and now both front wheels have fallen off.. been waiting weeks for replacement wheels and still waiting.. so we have a very expensive mower sat doing nothing whilst the grass is growing around it... not to be recommended.

I am writing this to warn prospective buyers: Do not be fooled by the "premium" branding of the Husqvarna Automower 450x. While the hardware is marketed as a high-end, long-term investment, my experience has proven that Husqvarna has no interest in supporting its customers once they have your money.
1. Planned Obsolescence via "3G Sunset"
I spent thousands on a flagship 450x, a machine sold on the promise of "Smart" connectivity. Now, because of the 3G network shutdown—a transition that was well-known in the industry for years—the "smart" features of my mower are dead. Husqvarna’s response? They expect the customer to foot the bill for a 4G upgrade kit just to regain the functionality I already paid for at retail. For a premium brand, selling a product with a "built-in expiration date" on its core features is deceptive and unprofessional.
2. Software Logic that Defeats the Purpose
The mower’s programming is infuriatingly "too smart for its own good." Despite setting a 12-hour mowing window, the mower frequently decides the grass "doesn't need cutting" due to the erratic Weather Timer and stays in the dock. It will sit at 100% charge, displaying "Mowing according to schedule," while the lawn grows wild. You end up spending more time babysitting the app and the keypad than you would have spent just pushing a manual mower.
3. Customer Service: The "Goodwill" Trap
When you reach out for help, Husqvarna’s customer service is a masterclass in deflection. Their latest response to me was that because they had performed a "goodwill" repair on a faulty charging station in the past, they are now refusing to help with the connectivity failure. They view basic product support as a "favour" they can use against you later. Once your warranty is up, you are on your own, regardless of whether the failure is due to their poor technical planning.
4. Conclusion: Look Elsewhere
The robotic mower market is no longer a monopoly. There are now numerous competitors (Mammotion, Worx, Segway) offering better tech, better connectivity (RTK/Wi-Fi), and arguably better support for a fraction of the price.
Husqvarna is resting on a reputation they no longer deserve. If you want a mower that actually mows when you tell it to, and a company that stands behind its "flagship" products, do not buy a Husqvarna.

Bought the R6V mower, Brilliant product. Setup was really straightforward and didn’t take long at all. Once up and running, the cutting performance has been excellent, clean, consistent results every time. It’s clearly well thought through and does exactly what you’d want it to. Very impressed overall.

Why didn't I check here first. Just taken receipt of their new automower R6V. Doesn't cut grass at all, suspect it's faulty. Rang support - wouldn't speak to me, said I need to contact a dealer. Dealer was somewhat helpful but doesn't know anything about it as it's a new model. I asked about returning it and they pointed me back at Husqvarna.
So far a terrible and stressful experience and all I have to show for it is a very expensive lawn ornament.
Update: Husqvarna email support were more helpful than the phone support and passed the information and video I had onto tech support. It still took a further 4 days to get a response but that resolved the issue. It's a shame because 5 minutes on the phone with someone who knew what they were doing when I'd made the original call and I'd be a very happy customer.

I've just had delivered a RC320RS mower.
It came with 7 manuals, each 1 cm thick.
Each manual had 4 sections, each section was for a different language.
That's paper for 28 different manuals when I wanted only 1.
96.5% of what was sent was unwanted paper!
What an incredible waste!
So much for Husqvarna being Eco friendly.
Shocking!!

Asked so called "customer support" for help with automower issue. Just directed back to dealer. Worse than useless. 1 star was the lowest option or it would have been zero. Not good enough to be even third rate. Will never buy Husqvarna products again.

Husqvarna gave me an email address to write to regarding an issue with a hedge trimmer that the retailer refused to deal with.
However, they failed to answer the email and failed to answer a further email asking why they hadn't answered the first one!
They then insisted I paid £50 to a local repairer as it was most likely a user error but was refundable if not.
The defect was a firmware issue, (on an electric trimmer!), and so was 'repaired' and I got my £50 back.
Took it home and the defect was still there. Then had to return it by courier to the retailer at their cost which they got the next day yet still awaiting full refund despite chasing it up!
Many companies, especially the larger ones, would do well to take a leaf out of Amazon's book regarding defective products, refunds, returns and customer service!
As a result, I'll never purchase another Husqvarna product again nor recommend them!

E-bike are rubbish
How are there husqvarna e-bikes so bad had nothing but problems now the shock has bent I have never seen any think like it
I have a 315 robotic lawnmower. I'm spending the price of a brand new mechanical petrol lawnmower every year on parts breaking down. I bought it because of the husqvarna name but never again. A poor product
I bought a Husquvara TS38 mower in 2020. It gets around 25 hours of use every season. It gets 2 oil changes per season. After 13 months the battery failed. It's an expensive AGM battery that's supposed to last for years. No warranty, it was a 2018 battery fitted in a 2018 mower. This year 2025 the engine has destroyed itself after around 120 hours running.( The connecting rod has broken.) The scrap man tried to repair It. It transpires the the main cause of the failure was plastic parts in the engine breaking. Apparently the engine is famous for this. Uneconomic to repair as I thought. I wish I had known before purchase. A new engine fitted will cost £1500, more than the mower is worth, so it has been sold for scrap. £80.00. Disappointing.
I contacted them over 4 months ago with help with my lawnmower and haven't had a single response. I am out of pocket and there is no customer service to be seen. It's unbelievable that a company like this is allowed to still trade.
I bought an Aspire battery electric mower less than a year ago. The battery has failed. I cannot get any satisfaction from the company. Their response to my request to know whether my battery should be replaced, which would not seem unreasonable is to say the issue is being moved on. The following day I get emails to say the case is closed.
Husqvarna battery charger qc 330. 2 in a row have just died on me and although the second one is only 15 months old they are saying the warranty only applies from the date of the purchase of the first one.
🙄
I was misled by the Australian accented south West England sales representative. He told me to start a Ltd company to obtain finance, when I did that I was declined by husqvarna. Wasted my time and money.
Regretted buying the mower as after 2 years of purchasing it the warranty expired then the mower have problems. The company advised to look somewhere else for repair as my mower have the warranty just expired. Terrible customer service, so don’t buy it if you don’t want to feel that you just flush money in the toilet !!
Yet another scathing review of the non existent Husqvarna "customer support". I've been buying Husqvarna 2 stroke machines for almost 50 years but no more. After 4 weeks & 3 emails with no response I'm forced to pay for repairs to a 6 month old blower. How on earth can a company with the supposed reputation of Husqvarna let this happen?
I wish i had read these reviews before I purchased! Dreadful customer service. 11 days since order and still no product or explanation despite a 3-5 day delivery promise. Not recommended.
Dreadful all round. My parents and grandparents always swore by Flymo and we've had several before this one. We bought a new mower last spring (2024). It blew up spectacularly a week ago. I have emailed warranty claims, no answer. I am currently on hold (last 90 minutes) same song playing on repeat, no updates. I have also sent another email while on hold. Doesn't look like we'll get a fix from them or even be able to speak to someone. I will be taking this further tomorrow lunchtime as I've given them 24 hours to contact me.
Give them a wide birth. Flymo has clearly gone down hill in quality and customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Edit: I ended the call at 2.5 hours, still on hold at 2.30pm on a Monday which was their closing time!
