My garden strimmer needed a new spool holding part - probably the most likely part on the tool to suffer wear and tear or damage through use. Not only is it the only part not available but their customer service left me wondering if they had any customer care or reading skills.
Despite asking if there were others that supply something which fit they repeatedly just sent me their lacking parts diagram.
I took a chance and purchased a “P25 universal” similar looking one and saved myself £90 on buying a new strimmer as it fitted a dream.
The power components that are required to be water resistant and outside are not. I've had to replace the power cable and the AC/DC adapter on a mower that is less than 2 years old.
Wish I had looked at TrustPilot before I bought my Husqvarna automower. They don't even bother to respond to complaints. Their customer service is poor and that's being kind. I will not buy another product from this company.
I’m writing you to inform about my experience with a Husqvarna leaf blower and after sales customer service.
First fault with a leaf blower happened in the end of August, beginning of September 2023 and I took it for repairs at Ernest Doe Power in Esher, Surrey. After a month or even a bit longer, I received machine back from them. In the end of November I experienced faults again and took my leaf blower back for repairs at Ernest Doe Power in Esher, Surrey. They sent machine to another branch somewhere in Sussex.
December, January, February, March- these are four months while I have been ignored, phone calls are dismissed, messages are ignored, and I can’t use my garden machinery. There are literally no adequate updates except those times when they reply, they always are still waiting for parts.
It absolutely ridiculous. It’s so sad, that I didn’t read reviews earlier.
Husqvarna dealers and after sales companies are just ridiculous.
We bought a 315X robot mower in 2020 and it had a major software failure in 2023, rendering the unit unserviceable.
Husqvarna Customer Support has been completely disinterested in helping and simply passed the problem back to the dealer, who has been equally unhelpful.
The mower cost £2,271 and we only had just over 3 summers' use.
I bought Husqvarna chainsaw 135 mark 2 from husqvarna romania, at same time i bought husqvarna oil for petrol mixing to be original and don't lose warranty, after 1 year won't to start, i returned to dealer becouse was in warranty period, after 1 week said, engine pistone is damaged becouse is used non complain oil in petrol, without to know i used husqvarna oil, dealer said husqvarna oil is non complain oil(ridiculous).
I bought expensive oil for mixing in petrol non complain oil, and dealer ask me to pay bill to be repaired chainsaw. Won't to be used warranty, and warranty is till June 2024.
Husqvarna products is poor quality made in china, but high price and poor service special Husqvarna Romania 🇷🇴
Husqvarna appreciate self they products and services.
I disappointed, better decision was to buy something cheap and 100% work longest, on they box is write 300 year of innovation.
Sorry but is not enough, need more 300 years, or maybe some dealer broker your image, Romania dealer is MASTEL SERV SRL. I writed lot off complain but dealer not care.
Pay for expensive product with warranty, used original oil and pay bill from my pocket is not fair and serious from Husqvarna.
Not recommend to anyone buy husqvarna.
I Purchased, a Husqvarna backpack blower. It worked one time. I brought it to a Husqvarna service center and they said it had a faulty ignition coil. The part has been back ordered for nine months. You cannot talk to a live person at Husqvarna. So I have this expensive piece of garbage sitting in my garage collecting dust. I used to be a big fan, this company has gone down the tubes.
450x robot mower
£4000 new
3 mains boards @£350
2 drive motors @£160
front wheel star washers that will come into contact with damp rust and wheels fall off
Supply unit had known fault and were still shipped out and replacement never arrived.
docking station board failed, £130 didn't work still awaiting replacement. my local dealer is helpful as he can be but agrees Husqvarna support/parts is appaling/non existant. Their arrogance is only matched by their useless/expensive product. They will not deal with you direct but divert you to their long suffering dealers. I google translated much of the above and sent to head office in sweden who didn't even acknowledge my email. top tip: buy a cheaper make every two years and you will still be better off.
Purchased a Gardena auto mower which was installed in may 23. First problem was won’t connect to blue tooth, software glitch ! Case of technology trying to run before it can walk. Got the blue light indicating a fault on the docking station. After investing in the kit to test the loop wire I traced the fault back to the ac/dc adapter. Failed after 5 months ref Husqvarna Fw7312/UK or 584 86 26-02G
Tried contacting them and they could barely understand English. Disappointing to say the least.
My mower has worked very well I purchased through Revell mowers in Coleford have a problem last week Russ is coming Monday to resolve great service.
Not fit for purpose. My Husqvarna Robot Mower Model 305 owned for just over 2 years and used on my 10m by 10m lawn (100 sq.m), quite a small flat lawn, no slopes, in the back garden, which this mower should easily manage as advertised for lawns up to 600 sq.m. However I would not buy one of these again as it is not fit for purpose for my lawn. First year it worked and cut the whole lawn but now it does not have sufficient battery capacity and leaves areas on the lawn not cut, typically in squares/triangles where it has missed on about 15% of the lawn. Send it out again and it does not remember where it cut last time so areas are still missed. Contacted the supplier who installed it and they informed me the battery had a warranty of 2 years. It is a few months over this so not covered, cost of new battery over £100 on a machine costing £1145. So to use this robot I would need to buy a new battery every 2 years, so not fit for purpose.
Another problem is that it cuts in a straight line, fair enough, and uses random direction of cuts but leaves a trail of grass cuttings in a ridge on the right of the robot. So it leaves ridge lines of cuttings all over the grass in a criss cross pattern. It cuts the grass OK but leaves these lines which does not look very good. To remove them I need to go over with a broom to sweep them away so the lawn looks presentable. Not what I expected and annoying.
This was installed by the approved supplier, set up and boundary wires put in, and serviced as well by them a year later, cost £120. Stored away in winter in our house to protect it and had a mower shed built to protect it and the charging station during the summer months of use. I disconnected the charging station and brought that indoors as well over winter. The control panel works fine after a period of learning how to make time, cut frequency and day use changes and needs a security password each time. It did take some time to learn on this.
So this product should not be on the market as effectively the battery is not up to the job. I have a hybrid car and the batteries on that are still going after 12 years whereas the Husqvarna mower battery lasts 2 years!
Contacted their customer service to track small spare parts for my turbo lite mower yesterday. They posted them immediately and they arrived today, no charge. Couldn't ask for better service.
I tried to get some info on ride-on-mowers from the online chat - what a waste of time - they don't know any details about what they're selling, they just tell you to ask your local dealer for any information!
Whats the point of a technical helpline if they don't have any technical knowledge?
I've got lots of Husqvarna equipment but I'll be looking elsewhere going forward.
£4000 is the cost of a small used car.
My 450x in the first year charge unit failed and I had to get a friend to make one
The front wheels are held on with star washers that rust away and cause the shopping trolley style front wheels to fall off
It has had two drive motors £380
It has had three mother boards £1200 which take ages to arrive in the middle of the mowing season
It is an aaa full machine and I have managed to talk three friends into buying another make
Shocking quality and after care
Avoid at all (huge) costs
430x robot mower. Guide wires have disintegrated underground. Docking station failed in year 3. New battery needed. Customer service do not reply. This company is going to get found out. Their products are not reliable.
I bought an R422TS AWD ride on mower at a cost of over £7K and it is undoubtedly the worst piece of machinery I have ever owned. It has broken down at least once a year every year since I bought the mower. It is not reliable nor durable. Even when it breaks down it takes Husqvarna two weeks to send replacement parts. Woeful machine backed up by equally woeful customer service.
Before buying anything Husqvarna, do your research with legit reviews like this. I bought a brand new ride that has been back to repair roughly 8 times in 3 years. No Husqvarna product will ever enter my home again.
Cheap as chips tin products.
I decided to invest a lot more money in a petrol strimmer and hedge cutter than I would usually in the hope the product would last a lot longer and be higher quality.
129LK Strimmer - I bought this in August 2021 and have only used a handful of times. It is now unreliable to start and leaking petrol.
Hedge trimmer attachment - I bought this as a recommended attachment for the strimmer and it comes with a shoulder strap that doesn't fit the product! Upon contacting Husqvarna they informed me I could either return the product or wait and they would ship me the correct part. I waited as it was too late to take back the strimmer at that point. I waited for 9 months before they sent me the correct part!!!
I have now enquired about getting it repaired under the warranty. Husqvarna have advised that they have cannot help me in any way and I need to go to an authorised dealer. I went to a dealer and they said that I will have to wait 2 months for them to look at it, after which if they decide it is not warranty I will have to pay £40 plus whatever it costs to fix.
It's laughable really for such an expensive and barely used product. Both the quality of product and service recieved from Husqvarna has been beyond bad.
The fact they haven't even acknowledged this page on Trustpilot yet and have so many poor reviews says everything. Avoid at all costs!!!!
Do yourself a favor and buy anything other than a Husqvarna. I have owned many motorcycles over the years and I was so thrilled to finally be able to afford an overpriced Husqvarna because it was a perfect fit. What a BAD choice! 3 years old and it has been in the shop more times than it has been ridden, with multiple issues, including a failed ECU. In my short time of owning this bike, I have found that they are not only overpriced, but of poor quality and craftsmanship. But, it gets worse. Husqvarna has some of the WORST customer service I have ever received anywhere! Severely disappointed. I will never recommend or buy another Husqvarna product. Do yourself a favor and buy a KTM, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and stay on the trail and out of the shop!
Bought 2 x Husqvarna BLi20 batteries in 2019.
One is still going strong but the other one is dead after less than 100 recharges. UK customer services have failed to respond to my complaint. The brand isn't worth the money.
Customer Service appalling, no response to questions / help when required.
