Hypofrend was a great help when trying to figure out the mortgage and find a perfect apartment. We were assigned Christopher, a wonderful mortgage expert who walked us out through the process, helped to understand what we can afford, and how the process will look like, choose the best options for us, communicate not only with the bank, but with all the sides of the deal, and simply not to get crazy with all that. It's like a friend, who knows exactly what to do, not pushy but supports you on every step. Amazing experience, we'd take another mortgage just to work with the guys again.

Helge was an amazing partner. He made the process very simple and clearly explained the requirements as well as a general timeline.
I can give two recommendations one would be a visual aid to help with the timeline of events as the process for purchasing real estate in Germany is very different to other countries.
My second recommendation would be to partner with Dolmetscher agencies so you can give a few recommended translators for the Notary appointment. The first ones I reached out to actually quoted me over double the standard rate and I felt it easy to be taken advantage of.

Our broker did an excellent job. We had a tricky situation: (non-Euro income, non-citizen, etc.) and he found us a competitive financing solution. Our broker also helped talk us through market dynamics and the settlement process so we could buy with confidence. We worked with him for over a year to identify a property at a good value and source a competitive mortgage.

Great support from the Hypofriend Mortgage Experts throughout the whole purchase process. Always very reactive and willing to push to make things progress. A great asset to be backed by knowledgeable people.
