Ms.Biener has been very helpful and responsive to our requests along the whole process. Not only did she help with the mortgage options, but also provided good advisory from the beginning. Communication in English is also very smooth and efficient.

Superb experience. We were hesitant before the first call, but Christopher explained everything really well and made us confident about the mortgage and eventually whole process of buying a flat. Also, every time we needed something, he was able to guide us with fast replies and advices.

Stephan was amazing! Helped us through every step and was always available for the myriad of questions we had. To be honest, we definitely couldn’t have done this without him as we had just moved to Germany, don’t speak the language, didn’t know the local laws and intricacies of the German legal and financial process. I was overwhelmed with the whole process of buying something in Germany due to the fact of the strict language rules and the high preliminary costs (taxes, notar ..etc) so having a business model that relies on taking a commission not from the buyer but from the bank is smart!

I strongly recommend the service from Hypofriend. I have tried another online broker from another platform before but Hypofriend is from another league. The process to acquire the mortgage would not have worked without the help of Tobias from Hypofriend. Without previous experience with financing and without knowing (much) the German language, we were able to close a deal to buy an apartment. He helped us a lot at every step of the process, from understanding how a mortgage works, what were our possibilities and best strategy for the investment (how much equity to spend, how much pay back to choose), how much the targeted apartments were worth (we checked many in a time period of ~4 months), found the best financing offer, till the moment we sat in the notary office. Helge Schünemann was very helpful in guiding me through the process and in helping me get the right documents. He was able to help me in English which is my main reason for using Hypofriend. His guidance was on target and correct. The estate agent had false information and Helge talked with him directly to help move the process along. The agent was not easy to work with but Helge still managed. This has been a very positive experience for me.

I bought a really nice apartment with Hypofriend and, being an expat with limited German, I was impressed by how easy the process ultimately was. My advisor, Sven Gehle, was very helpful with finding the best rate on the market for me (the best part) and also helped with communications with the banks and the real estate agent. He also kindly previewed my paperwork before it went out to the banks and the notary, which was reassuring. If you are on the lookout for property in Berlin, you might want to book a consultation with them. You’ll be in safe hands.

An amazing service. Everyone I talked to at Hypofriend was very available and supportive. They know becoming a homeowner can be stressful and they do everything they can to help, every step of the way.

We‘ve been continuously in contact with Hypofriend for about 7 months. At the beginning our advisor was Sven Gehle. Later we were in contact with Martin Kaminski. Both of them were pretty responsive and knowledgeable. They supported us responsively in different cases for property value estimation, finding a good mortgage deal and etc. Obviously because of various reasons many of those cases didn’t end up to a closing deal but they kept assisting us. Fortunately, we‘ve been recently able to close our deal by constant support of Martin.
