Angry staff. DO NOT USE
I contacted ID5.co.uk to ask what form i complete if they complete the ID5 for me. The chap on the phone was angry from the moment he answered the phone. After he belittled me, he then hung up. I do not recommend anyone use this service.

Booked to get my ID1 completed for a transfer to my ex partner of my share of the property. From booking I got send reminders, links what to do and it was effortless. Everything explained in detail. I had a zoom call with Gareth who is a lovely guy. Paperwork was then emailed for approval and payment made. Next day forms in the post. Highly recommended from me. Brilliant service.

Great service. I had problems with my camera but George worked around it and the forms were completed for me and my wife all within the allotted time (9 minutes to spare!). I would definitely recommend ID5

I didn't receive the forms as promised, I rang the next day, no answer, I didn't ring the next as it was a Sunday, rang Monday, I was told his invoice system went down and I would recieve the forms that day, nothing, rang the next day. No answer, gave up and went elsewhere.

I have followed the procedures set out by the company in order to obtain my ID5 and ID1 paperwork and I have paid for it and since then I have received no contact from anyone and no one answers the phone when I call.
There is no point of contact and I have no idea how to obtain my documents. I will highly discourage anyone from using this company in the future.

When I first spoke with George, he was absolutely lovely on the call and explained that he needed some very specific additional documents from me which had not been mentioned beforehand. He assured me that if I sent them over the next day, my ID1/ID5 forms would be posted out the same day. I followed his instructions, but since then I have been completely ignored.
I have sent multiple emails and made several calls, all of which have gone unanswered by George. The gentleman who usually answers the phone is also very polite and kind, but despite reassuring me five separate times that George would get in touch, nothing has ever come of it.
I fully understand that solicitors are often under a heavy workload—so am I—but no timeframe was ever given, no updates were provided, and I was simply left in the dark. This lack of communication has not only caused unnecessary stress but also created further friction with my ex-partner and delayed the already difficult process of signing over my house.
I am incredibly disappointed with the service I have received. Had I been given even a realistic timeline for when I would be contacted, I would have understood. Instead, I have been ignored, which is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this firm.
If I am contacted and this is resolved, I am happy to take down my negative review.

ID5 saved me time and money. This kind of thing should be rolled out to cover more of the legal industry. A world where solicitor firm partners have to downgrade from the Range or Maserati to a BMW. :)

Avoid them. No replies back no documents
I booked an appointment for the next day at 9:30 am. George held a call but never replied to my emails. Five days later, I still received no documents and no replies. They charged me more than they should have. Avoid them.
Tread cautiously
Had a call for ID1 form verification with George on Monday. I’ve sent two emails since then but had no reply. He has since disappeared into thin air.
This is very worrying behaviour for an online business that deals with sensitive personal information.
I can’t accuse them of anything other than poor service at this stage but I would err on the side of caution when dealing with them.

If I could leave no stars I would. Has a 45 minute appointment on Sat with George. Lots of chit chat so not 15 mins m which I went along with as I am a friendly person.
At first he was really friendly but then started asking for more documents were not listed on the requirements or I had to pay extra £30. I didn’t have one of the documents so said I would email it which I didn’t have one straight free the call.
The end of the call was really unfriendly, virtually hung up on me with no next steps although he did say earlier he would email me back as soon as soon as he received the documents.
4 days later and having chased I have heard nothing. I need this urgently so have found another company to do in person as I can’t trust online anymore. I feel worried as have sent all sensitive information, bank statements etc.
Anyway there are some good reviews and many bad so perhaps George is bipolar.
Online ID service - easy process.
Tackled a land registry assent issue on my own, a little prior homework on the required forms and the whole matter with this company was smoothly and satisfactorily dealt with.
Pre interview requirements were clearly laid out in the email, the use of the Credas app was easy and the interview with Gareth was extremely helpful giving me some good advice as far as his remit would allow.
For the ID requirements=excellent and for a fair price.
Highly recommended.
I had an appointment on the 13th August…
I had an appointment on the 13th August with George, however my utility bill I uploaded onto CREDAS was not an accepted document. I completed the zoom call and paid the invoice and uploaded a bank statement to CREDAS as requested - I then replied to George’s email explains this had been done with the signed documents. There were a lot of issues initially when emailing as I was getting an automated reply saying his inbox was full. Therefore, I called the number provided which was also not very helpful - the person who answered (cannot remember his name) said he would try and contact George but still despite numerous phone calls and emails to George, I have not heard anything back and have not received any documents!
I have paid the fee on the date of the zoom call but have not received the service I have paid for and have emailed both George on his email and via the ID5 email with no reply, and I have since asked for a refund, again, with no reply.
I booked another appt. To try and sort it however they cancelled this appt. And now when I ring it just rings out or I get sent to voicemail!
I would avoid unless you want to have your money taken and not receive any documents or any information/guidance on what is required next to receive the documents!
