If you get the fit wrong, you're up ish creek without a padel. They splash free returns around their website, and then hide the fact that this only applies to the US in their delivery FAQ page. How do you ship SHOES and not offer returns for sizing!!! So in the end I got the wrong size and needed to pay 20% of the value (60 bucks) to return and customs duties from Europe. So I elected to not do the return. AVOID!

The sizing is completely wrong. I gave them both my shoe size and the actual measurements and the shoe that arrived is at least one size bigger than it should. I have being byuing the same shoe size for 40 years so am confident I know my size and certainly the shoe provided is not to size. I suggest you be careful not to end up looking like a clown when wearing the shoes. I will probably donate to the circus!

I would give Idrese as a company 10 stars, if possible. Why? Everything through the whole process was just smooth, transparent and of course at the end the shoes are absolutely fantastic. Without any doubt, the best shoes I have ever worn.

Lets start from the beginning: I discovered Idrese more by coincidence on a youtube review from different gentlement shoe brands. They received a high rating what made me curious. I have to mention that it is my first "goodyear-welted" shoe, in the past I did not really have a clue about shoe construction.

To make sure I get the right size, I contacted them, providing my feet length and so on. They helped me with finding the right shoe size. After ordering, it took exactly 23 days until they arrived at my home. Means the delivery was about 1 week faster than expected.

Lets get to the most interesting part, the shoe of course: I ordered a pair of Magellan boots and what shall I say? Just WOOW! They look exactly like on the website, the leather smells so fresh and new, exactly how good leather should smell. The fit? Like a glove, I slip in and from the first second, no unpleasant pressure anywhere, they just fit perfect.

To finish my review, you need to know I am a very distrustful person when it comes to ordering online and abroad, but in this case it was well worth it. I will definitely buy again from Idrese. Thanks a lot!

Idrese has excellent quality and workmanship. I purchased several shoes from them and they were delivered quickly and fit perfectly. I have EEE which makes it hard to find shoes that fit, but Idrese made it possible to get fashionable shoes that fit.

Great customer service. From start to finish the process was easy and enjoyable.

I absolutely love the boots. It was my first time ever getting a pair and these are extremely comfortable and easy to fit in and out of and the design is really nice. I’ve gotten many compliments while wearing them.

Ordered a 16.5 in two pairs of loafers that were supposed to be “true to size” and I wear a 16 in Allen Edmonds, I can’t get one pair on the other is extra tight. They won’t take them back because they are customized, they don’t sell them in 16+ unless they are “custom”. So I’m stuck with 600+ dollars of useless shoes. Great.

The pair of customized Magellan boots that I received are top-notch. Beautiful leather and made by excellent craftsmen. The shoes look beautiful, very stylish but robust. The fit is perfect. They will put a smile on my face for years to come!!

This company is deceitful and unethical in its marketing and advertising. Their website states shoes are produced in 28 days or less, and then shipped via DHL within 1 to 3 days. What they do not tell you is that it may be weeks before your order enters production, Meanwhile you get emails that are obviously computer generated, but have no bearing whatsoever on your order or its status.

I ordered a pair of shoes on August 4, within the stated production time to receive them before I leave for vacation. I immediately received a nonspecifc e-mail in response to my order. Please note the charge posted to my credit card account on Auguat 7. I received another (fraudulent, in my opinion, e-mail) on August 17, stating, “Yay! Your custom-made pair is almost finished!”. However, it was obvious this was not legitimate correspondence, but another computer-generated message, so on August 19, I wrote to inquire about the status of my order. I explained I would be leaving on September 5 and could not tell whether I would receive my shoes in time. I was told my shoes were in production, and “the lead time is typically 28 days, excluding holidays. Currently, our factory is on a summer break and will resume operations next week. We will do our best, but we cannot guarantee that the shoes will arrive before your vacation on September 5.”

I responded by saying thank you for the clarification, and I pointed out the timing of my order would have allowed for the production time and shipping. I also noted I simply won’t order in the future if the shoes don’t arrive in time. It is clear to me at this point that I have been duped by this company in terms of what is advertised on their website regarding production time, as I now realize the start of production has nothing to do with when I ordered, or more importantly, when they took my money.

I do not receive a response until 3 days later telling me the “estimated” completion of my order is not until the 3rd week of September. “Rose” apologizes for the delay because of the high volume of orders, and as a token of their appreciation and patience, they will be adding a free shoe tree to my order and a $50 discount in the future. Just to be clear, I would never order from this company again for a shoe tree and a $50 discount. “Rose” clearly knew when she responded to me on August 20 that there was no way the shoes would arrive, yet she strung me along by saying “do our best, but cannot guarantee.” This was a lie; she knew then the shoes would not arrive. Furthermore, I do not believe they have begun working on my shoes, based on the information I have gleaned, and I have requested a refund. However, it looks as though I will need to file a dispute with my credit card company, based on the lackluster, and in my opinion, disingenuous response to my inquiries thus far.

I can respond to and accept clear, transparent, and honest communication. What I cannot tolerate, particularly when I am spending hard-earned money, is a bunch of thoughtless, computer-generated correspondence, which is then followed with misleading double-talk when I am responded to by a person. I cannot answer for the shoes, but I can certainly answer for the problematic lack of customer service and the fact that I have thus far been deceived at every step of the way in dealing with this company (at least until the most recent response regarding the status of my order when the situation finally became clear). It really is laughable that anyone would think a shoe tree and $50 off in the future is an acceptable response or would entice a person to order in the future.

Order at your own risk!

Update August 27—I wrote to cancel the order on August 23, as it was clear what was advertised on the webiste could not be honored. No response within a business day, so I ask in a second e-mail if they are issuing a refund or if I need to file a dispute. I am then told “I am just coordinating the cancellation request to our production manager. I will update you within 24-48 hours Sir.” I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. I will update this review with additional information if Idrese attempts to fight the chargeback. The response I have received has been utterly unbelievable. Buyer beware.

First off what a great selection of custom options. Secondly my boots were at my door in 5 weeks made from scratch. The quality in the boot is evident from every detail. I have a custom made pair of Chelsea boots at a very affordable price. Also the communication with the Idrese team is perfect and very quick with any questions I had

I can admit I was a little skeptical and cautious buying such an expensive dress shoe from a company I knew hardly anything about. Idrese's web page in the details said custom shoes would take about 30 days to manufacture and another 3 or 4 days to ship, but I simply wanted the Micah wingtip quality boot (which took about 4 or 5 days to come) and I am pleasantly surprised. The quality and craftsmanship is fantastic. I have more expensive dress shoes than this but they don't have the goodyear welt. The only small cons are the boots are a little tight in the toe box (which will break in), and I never recieved a delivery email, I text the owner for my confirmation. Both are too small an issues to take a star off for the quality product I recieved.

I found idrese in youtube reviews when I was looking for white shoes. The criteria by which I choose shoes fully met my requirements. I made an order. And I was not mistaken. Got his pair of Nuno even earlier. The quality of the material is satisfied. Shoes are soft and do not require posting. I will order more. In black. And behind is previously confident in quality. I boldly recommend paying attention to this workshop of wonderful shoes. I wish everyone a good life.

I discovered Idrese by chance and decided to play with their design tool so that ended up sending my first order. When I received the first pair of shoes I was really amazed by the excellent premium quality, but more than that the shoes are extremely comfortable for such a model (leather soles). The look and shape of the shoes are just perfect!

I ordered two more pairs of shoes and look forward to receiving them. More will come for sure. I strongly recommend enjoying the outstanding Idrese’s premium quality shoes!

'All good things come to those who wait'

I ordered three pairs of shoes and they took about seven weeks to be delivered to me. It was well worth the wait. They are exceptional quality.

Others have mentioned customer service. That was not a problem for me. I sent an email after four weeks had elapsed and it was replied to swiftly.

The shoes are high quality, however, the customer service can improve a lot.

As someone with a size 16 shoe, its increasingly difficult to find shoes of high quality and unique styles in my size. Unfortunately I've had some pretty negative experiences with MTO shoe companies in the past. As a result, I was a bit apprehensive to order from Idrese, but desperate enough take a chance. WOW, I sure am happy that I did! The Idrese team is incredibly responsive and when I wanted to make a Belgian loafer in dark brown suede but didn't see the color option on the Create a Design part of the site the owner himself, Jawad, reached out to me and confirmed they could make the shoes in the color I wanted and confirmed via photos and asked for my approval before production.

The shoes arrived in just under 28 days and they fit like glove. I own a few pairs of nice suede shoes, but wow you can definitely tell the suede Idrese uses is levels above normal. I'm so pleased with the results that right before writing this review I ordered two more pairs of shoes from them. Thanks again Idrese, I really hope you all corner the market of MTO shoes-there's too many scams in this space and men like me need a hero company like yours!

I was initially skeptical but was more than pleased when the boots arrived. The fit was perfect and the quality seems very good. Time will tell but I’m already thinking of ordering another pair in a different color.

I recently ordered two jumper boots from Idrese and I honestly think they are comparable in quality to Crockett & Jones (Coniston), while being considerably less expensive and much better value. Idrese used to offer boots made on four lasts (Zurigo, Monti, Savile, Belgravia), now (as far as I know) their boots are all made on Zurigo last only. This last is perfect for jumper boots with rounded toe, but still elegant, just about right.

Advice about sizing: if you are 10,5 UK (11,5 US), order half size up, 11 UK (12 US).

The only critique I have are laces. They constantly untie, literally every few steps. So I changed the laces and now they are perfect.

Originally, I ordered two sets of shoes. They took a long time come, and when they did arrive, I discovered that I ordered the wrong size, and it didn't fit, and the other was not made according to how I ordered it. I was able to return the one pair, and the company made good on the other pair. I ordered two additional sets of shoes, and these arrived quickly, and were what I ordered. So far, very please with the quality of the product. I would say the company has great quality products, but needs to work on its logistics a bit. The service representative I worked with was great as well.

The shoes were manufactured as specified however I feel the quality of the shoe is lacking. Even when I walk the shoe makes incredibly loud noises to the point that I feel embarrassed to wear them. I’ve tried different socks but cannot seem to stop this irritatingly loud noise.

I feel something is wrong with these shoes as I have never had this obnoxious sound while wearing/walking in any other pair of shoes.

Visually they are stunning. I was very hopeful I’d reach out to them to make me multiple shoes but this experience has turned me off to the brand.

The quality is wonderful. Very comfortable.
