I recently received an invoice from IDR Law for works that I never instructed or authorised. Every line item on the invoice was completely unexpected and had no prior approval from me.
When I raised this issue, I requested evidence of authorisation and clarification, but the situation has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time. Under UK contract law and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services cannot be charged without explicit agreement, yet this invoice was issued regardless.
This experience has left me questioning their processes and transparency. If you value clear communication and proper authorisation, I would strongly advise caution before engaging with IDR Law.
