Rewards credits disappeared
I had two accounts with Igloo energy and had £50 rewards on both. I logged in the day the news broke about their collapse and saw my rewards had disappeared. Really unsatisfactory and not happy.

Great prices and service.
Was with Igloo for nearly 2 years and unfortunately they out of business. They had low prices for as long as they could. We all now pushed in hands of giants. None of small suppliers will survive price war for fixed contracts.
Outstanding, and a sad loss.
Igloo Energy have been outstanding for the entire period of the time that I have been with them. Even after they have announced that they were ceasing trading, they have been actively getting in touch about a customer service issue that I had.
I would like to say thank you for your good pricing and excellent service. To your staff, thank you for the good service you have provided over the years. I hope that you are all successful in finding new jobs.

Really sorry to see Igloo go. First utility company EVER that had outstanding customer service, great app and website and reasonable prices. Good luck and best wishes to all the staff.
Closing chaos
Have had two emails asking for final readings - one on 30 September and one today. However the website login clearly no longer works, so I have given up and await with interest the process which is to follow.
It is a shame that the global increase in energy prices has caused such carnage in that sector. Perhaps the old system of regional gas and electricity boards was not such a bad idea!
However, to give them credit in a bad situation, it has now been possible to enter readings and an updated bill has been received. I feel great sympathy for the folk employed who are the real casualties.

Excellent company with good values but…
Excellent company with good values but htheir business model apparently won’t work with the current steep increase in energy prices. Only issue I have is that I now can’t access my account give the final reading - maybe the website has crashed?

Very good prices still compared to a…
Very good prices still compared to a lot of companies, they do answer emails very quickly. When I said I didn't want to up my monthly payments for now as I was in credit, they totally accepted it. I give my readings monthly and within less than an hour my bill is ready and accurate so I always know what I am spending. I hope they survive, they are a very good company.
