Parked vehicle, app had issues, paid still being ticketed
Parked vehicle. Hang tag app not working, deleted and re installed app, still not working. Walked back to lot and paid at meter (which too was having issues). Received ticket during the time frame above. disputed ticket. denied
The manager basically told me that I should not park in a lot without paying first. So park on the street, walk into lot or use app to pay, then park vehicle. To top it off they will not reimburse or put the parking fee that was paid against violation either.
My family went to the theatre in…
My family went to the theatre in Toronto and parked at an Imperial Parking Corp parking lot. The parking was paid via the machine located on the ground floor. We parked on an upper level. We were in a hurry to get to the theatre in time and I mistakenly inverted two letters of my license plate number but the machine accepted my payment. Upon leaving the parking lot, there was a ticket on my dash for $98.00. I called to explain my mistake...NO FORGIVENESS!! I had NO CHOICE otherwise my credit would have been negatively impacted. SHAMEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I will NEVER park at an impark lot again. We will take transit!! SHAME on this corporation!!!!!!!
Beware - sketchy policies and unacceptable customer service
I had free parking after 6PM as I had a reservation at a restaurant in one of their lots.
I registered my plate while paying for parking prior to my reservation and came back to a 100$ ticket.
Apparently even though parking is free for diners after 6PM the expectation is you leave mid-meal to go register your car a second time.
There was no flexibility with customer service no way to escalate the issue… Being an honest paying customer doesn’t matter. I won’t be using their lots again after this horrible experience.
I had the first hour free
I had the first hour free. I was in a physio appointment, i was covered until 8:15am, it took me 7 minutes to get down 3 flights of stairs with a broken leg, crutches, and a broken right hand, and i got a $98 parking ticket!!! I was past the time by 7 minutes! This is INSANE... $98!!!! I will NOT BE PAYING this, take me to collections, I don't care, this is highway robbery! I was in an motorbike accident, I am not working, and have no funds to pay this ticket! I called twice, and was treated like garbage! Avoid this company at all costs!!!
Parking Rates
I entered the parking lot at 6PM and must be charged the evening rate which was $12. But they charged me $25 and saying it was event charge. However there was no information posted on the digital screen that there is a flat rate for that day.
I called for reimbursement and she said they changed the information on board but I didn’t see. I asked for the information to send over and she didn’t send. Very bad experience parking there.
Paid for parking in a mall lot
Paid for parking in a mall lot. Paid until 1.56pm. Came back to my car before time was up and ticket had a time stamp of 1.57pm. Called and emailed - no response. what a load of BS
Scam: Impark's Ambiguous Payment System -- Scheme to Generate Unjust Fines
They scammed you by not charging you as you enter nor exit, but simply issuing a "parking ticket" for a horrendous sum. It's worthwhile for them, as even just one person pays their ticket, it's like 15 people paying for their parking.
Parking Notice
My family and I went to Toronto for a criminally court matter at 10 Armoury St
Toronto ON M7A 0B9 Canada we've searched for a cheap public parking nearby the place we planned to go and found this public parking place at Impark University Centre Parking Garage - Lot #227 located at 393 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5G 1E6.
We parked and payed for our parking which expires at 10:21 am . According to the instructions posted close to the pay meter, we are not to display our receipt on our dashboard. So after paying, we just left the parking lot without putting the receipt on our dashboard.
Upon our return to the place at around 12:24 pm, we noted a parking notice 09F635234 clipped on our car's windshield stating that we have failed to display valid receipt on our dash board and no proof of payment and fined us 86.47 or $98.00 if paid within 7 days.
I have already paid for the payment for $22.50 off my credit card I am disputing this parking notice we have followed the instructions already given by the security guard working for Paragon Security.
If you can review the parking notice and voided it as a one-time courtesy when paying for parking to avoid getting a parking violation notice in the future it would be great. That would be greatly appreciate the customer's time and understanding.
The machine was broken
The machine was broken, I left the car for 5 to 8 minutes, was ticketed by a hiding employee. It's so obviously crooked it's unbelievable that these businesses are legal in Canada.
Would give zero to this biggest BS!!
Would give zero to this biggest BS!!! The apps to pay parking fees, even if you have mothly membership is intentionally created and programed to scam and steal money from people who has no other choice but use their lot.
My experience was similar to Tina B's…
My experience was similar to Tina B's -- No damn indication of how it works. I went to pay on the way out, which is how it works everywhere in the civilized world and realized we were supposed to pay on the way in. How ridiculous can you get? Why am I supposed to decide upfront how long I'm going to stay? And then get a ticket if I stay a while longer, which seems to be another common issue? BTW, are they entitled to issue a 98$ "Notice"? Scammers!
This company doesn't have a complaints…
This company doesn't have a complaints procedure in British Columbia, Canada. They try to steer you away from submitting complaints by not including this information on their website. Employees tell you over the phone that if you want to complain, you can use the form online; however, there is no option. Avoid as much as you can.
Bloodsuckers
Bloodsuckers.
Their lack of heart will be their downfall.
Even if they profit, it’s blood money.
I made a mistake, no way to get the problem solved
I made a mistake, because I put in the wrong license plate number. So it was ok to get a fine notice. Since 4 days now I‘m trying to reach somebody to explain my problem that I did pay for my parking but put in the wrong plate number.
3 hours I was in the phone on hold! I gave up on that. I called a different costumer service they told me to call back later !
I sent emails with proof of my payment! I was told I can’t solve the problem via email, I have to call.
There we go again!
That is taking advantage of customers who are honest enough to pay for everything and just made a little mistake. No way you can reach somebody.poor business !
Hopefully none of these people from impark ever make a mistake!
I will never use it again!
Horrible!
If I can have zero star or below anything, I would not hesitate to give it. I parked and paid for parking and when I came, the patroller had already issued the ticket. I showed him my payment and he said oh the machine does not work and didnt show me your payment!!!
He cancelled the ticket and took the physical receipt and I took a photo of it but then I receive a 98$ ticket!!!!
When I call them, they are very good at finding ways to manipulate and twist the facts.
Thats on top of having a horrible APP and just as bad customer services. I had emailed them several times about the difficulties of locating lot numbers on the APP but no response and no improvement in the APP!!!
Horrible company! Stay away from it at all costs!!!
Same issue with others
Same issue with others. This service belongs to thieves. If I could do 0 stars I would.
The American embassy and all other agencies and businesses around it should know of these thieves and warn honest citizens. Used their web to proof payment for parking and still receive collection letter. Waste of my time, my hours are expensive and will charge them back.
AVOID MONTHLY PARKING LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Avoid using this company at all costs, especially if you are thinking about monthly parking. Their website is terrible, cheap scam-level quality. And if you ever need to cancel, NEVER do it through the website, they will change you for the next three months and it will be visible or clear. They basically hide this and you will never see any details in the website afterwards. If you call them after you have already canceled, all they do is tell you that they still need to change you one more month and that you have no options at that point.
The WORST service I have ever received. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
It just doesn't work
The payment through my phone didn't work - I tried for at least 15 minutes, there were no other options to pay and I got a ticket. I don't have a Google pay and don't want it on my phone. What if a person, say, don't have cellphone connection at all? Very disappointing.
Impart are parasites
Impart are parasites. My husband, a senior parked in one of their lots at a medical centre where he was having his heart checked. He thought he had booked enough time to park. Unfortunately the an appointment went longer than expected and by the time he got to his vehicle he was approximately 10 minutes past the time and there was a notice to pay a fine of $98.00. How is someone who is hooked up to EEG equipment supposed to excuse himself to add more time to the machine? There should be a grace period or at least smaller fines charged by the half hour not such a large amount applied to all situations. Very disappointed in this business and will never use them again. I will tell others to avoid them like the plague. No stars 👎
Impark's business practices should be…
Impark's business practices should be investigated regarding the posting of public parking signs with their name. Individuals who park in these areas may receive a $98 notice without the opportunity to dispute or receive an explanation. This practice raises concerns about the company's transparency and accountability. For instance, their parking lot at 655 Bay St, Toronto, has been cited as an example of this issue.
All you can do stay very far away of their parking lots. You better of receive a parking ticket on a street than park in their parking lots.
