Recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Jake at Imperials. I was given facts not sales talk and felt super comfortable about making my purchase without being pressured. Once my decision was made the transaction was done within a week. Speedy responses via text and calls from the whole team.

The whole experience with the team at Imperials was first class. No hard sell just an honest approach and totally transparent. Offered a test drive for an extended time period which gave time to fully appraise the vehicle. Minor issues corrected before collection as discussed during the negotiations. I cannot recommend Jake and Oliver enough. If you are looking for a special car avoid the main dealers and visit Imperials . Their service is second to none.

Over the last 5 years I have viewed 5 cars at Imperials and bought two of those. I get personal attention from Jamie who is absolutely great to deal with. All questions I had were always answered with professionalism and there is no pressure to buy. The cars they sell are of a very good quality. There is an initial 3 month warranty included so if there are any issues immediately after the purchase they can be dealt with promptly. There is also the option of extending the warranty for 12 or 24 months and it comes with comprehensive RAC breakdown cover as well. I purchased an extension for 24 months for my recent purchase of a Rolls-Royce Ghost. My experience of the warranty is extremely good as, unfortunately, a few issues appeared with the car in the months following ownership. The problems were dealt with professionally, the repairs carried out to a high standard and the car was delivered back to me each time with the issue fully resolved. I have also, on many occasions, spoken to the owner of the Imperials Group, Shaun, who is very responsive as is his son Oliver. I don't think I will be buying cars from elsewhere!!

Great experience

Bought a Bentley GT on 28 Jun 2024. I made a deposit on 21 Jun 2024 and asked Jim to secure this GT for me when I need to take off my private number plate for the part exchange. And then Jim helped me to conduct a very efficient pre-delivery, including a new service and a 12-month MOT, within one week.
Some tips to the future customers: I know it is recommended to do an auto check before buying a second-hand car. I did too. But if you found out a car is under stock/unit finance, don't be panic especially when you saw the 1 star reviews. Stock/unit finance is quite normal for a car dealer to maintain its cash flow. It will be finally settled by the car dealer, not us. However, it is always good to double check with the finance company by calling them, nothing to lose. And Jim is quite proactive to send me the written document showing that all the outstanding finance is cleared before the collection.
First day driving experience is good. Will write a follow up within three months.

It was my first time using imperials and Jake was very helpful. Absolutely love the new Bentley. Will definitely use them again.

I recently purchased a Range Rover Sport from Imperials and the whole process was an absolute delight. Dealt with Jake who made the whole process simple and enjoyable. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would absolutely recommend and would absolutely buy from them again. Brilliant

Bought a car from Imperials in December 2023 – A 2021 Range Rover Velar. The experience since has been as bad as many others have suggested online. Firstly, the car had 10 faults which were diagnosed by our local Main Dealer shortly after purchasing – Within about 350 miles, in fact. Some of these fault codes had already been cleared/deleted, but not repaired, when Imperials had the car serviced/inspected in October 2023. My local Land Rover dealer confirmed this to be the case and provided me with the evidence. Secondly, there were items of paintwork which needed attention before we agreed to buy the car. This paintwork was finished to a poor standard – There was overspray on several panels, the paintwork has fallen flat since, and they didn’t bother to mask over the rear reflector – They just sprayed right over the top of it! I’ve attempted to arrange for this to be rectified since, but I was hoping to reach an agreement on the third issue first… The alloy wheels fitted to the vehicle were cheap, Chinese replicas. The advert used the same alloy wheel style name as Land Rover do and the centre caps displayed the Range Rover logo and so I had no reason to believe the wheels were not genuine parts. However, during mediation, Imperials still insisted that they were completely transparent about the wheels being replicas – Despite never once mentioning the word replica! Either in person or by email. They have since offered to exchange the wheels for others which they have “on the shelf” but couldn’t guarantee any of those wheels would be genuine either! They obviously make a habit of fitting replica wheels to their cars and perhaps selling the original/OEM wheels separately. That would explain why the 2 of the wheels were cracked and 1 was buckled when we bought the car. When raising a complaint regarding these issues, the Salesperson, and the Managing Director, both found it amusing, sending emojis to each other by email whilst copying me in. Avoid at all costs unless you have similarly low standards. And avoid purchasing from Jake, especially – Or just prey that you never have to have any contact with them once they have taken your money! Complete wide boys. I’m not the first person that’s taken them to court and I’m sure I won’t be the last.

BUYER BEWARE!!
Finance Outstanding & 7 plate changes in 2-3 years??!!

Emailed/spoke to Imperials (Mason) about a Bentley Bentayga (LR67 FAK).

1). Registration not in ad - had to ask for it. Ran check & found out, there's outstanding finance on vehicles. Imperials never mentioned until I asked.

2). Technically that means the finance company own the vehicle not imperials.

3). It also means someone has to buy the vehicle & with their own money, then imperials will pay off the outstanding finance. The car is not yours until all finance is paid off.

4). Also the service history sounded sketchy at best - with a recent service being done by imperials themselves, rather than Bentley.

ALWAYS RUN A RAC (OR OTHER) CHECK BEFORE VIEWING.

UPDATE - spoke to Mason (who previously told me that imperials own the vehicle) who now reluctantly confirms that Santander Finance own the vehicle.

If I wanted to buy the car, I would have to put £1k deposit down first, then they would clear the finance.

Surprised dealers are able to sell cars with outstanding finance on them?

Contacted Imperials after seeing the car on Internet, had a car to trade in. Jake was quick to sort out a price for my car and respond to my messages. See the new car that day and within a couple of days had my new car. Very impressed with the service I received. Would definitely buy from them again.

Contacted Imperials about an advert I’d seen online. Jake came back to me quickly, with a polite, no pressure, informative message. Arranged a test drive, and was impressed with the overall experience, from being greeted, through to paperwork and eventually getting the keys. I even contacted them the next day as I’d mistakenly failed to find the EV cable in the boot of the car. Jake came back to my email, out of hours, with a promise to resolve it. I did actually find the lead shortly after. However, I was impressed with the speed at which Jake came back to me.
I had a very satisfactory experience overall with Imperials and Jake. And wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them both.

Made contact via webpage and had a phone call back within a couple of days. Once things was sorted my end with the car, Jim who was dealing with me couldn’t help me out enough by getting one of their techs out to give the car once over. Jim answered all of my questions.
Was a good overall experience. Would definitely recommend selling a car to imperials.

Nice to buy from but as with any customer experience the test is when something doesn't quite go right and had a little niggle a couple of weeks into the ownership and Daniel was superb and sorted everything for me. So refreshing to still feel some love after you've handed over money.
