Scammers found a backdoor through ING Security. ING refused to take ownership and explain how it could happen. Repeated requests for information and accountability. Have now been ignored. Zero trust in their security and integrity.
Support Call from Australian customer…
After my experience with one of the major banks, I cannot overstate how refreshing it has been to deal with ING. On both the 14th and 15th of July, I spoke to two outstanding support staff — one male and one female — who truly set a new standard in customer service.
There were no long wait times, no departmental ping-pong, and no robotic responses. Instead, I was met with people who listened intently, offered fast, informed guidance, and took genuine responsibility for assisting me.
One call even dropped out — and unlike any other bank I’ve dealt with, they called me back straight away. That speaks volumes about their professionalism and commitment to the customer.
I felt respected, protected, and — for the first time in a long time — optimistic about banking again. ING has left the big four banks far behind.
I’ve since moved all my banking to ING, and I genuinely feel supported. If you're looking for a bank that treats you as a human being and not a number, I cannot recommend ING more highly.
"Service" is a misnomer
ING invoices are not available online. The chat service is not available. So, I spend over 40 minutes waiting to speak to a customer "service" rep, who finally answers in a really fake cheerful tone of voice that is meant to mask her frustration. She then pretends not to hear me and hangs up. Call that a "service"? I have a business account that I pay for every month and every transaction. What am I paying for if not a service?

World transfer
I tried to transfer a bigger amount from the Netherlands to Oman. It was debet at 23 June 2021. I called many times to service helpdesk. They have a great imagination, many different answers. But no one can tell when my money arrives. No information, just WAIT.
I wait already 35 days.

a shocking conversation after another bank. the employee started yelling at me after I asked why I have to wait 30 minutes and another couple is immediately helped. my wife is very sick and this is a sick bank they don't have time for people who are average. Dutch banks are really scammers and bad at all not recommended.
Very very bad
Very very bad. They open at 9.30 and when you ask to open a New account you have to wait untill 10 o'clock. Because in their mind probably i don t work and i have time to lose and obviously I want to open an account to put the money that I receive every day from the sky and monthly from trees. Of course.
