GAP services you can trust

I cannot thank and recommend Ingeni enough. Their team helped us greatly with our GAP Insurance claim and their efforts were invaluable when dealing with our own motor insurers, who had clearly under valued our insured vehicle. So thanks to Becki and her excellent team.

Gap insurance

Spoke to Ash today to sort out my gap insurance and starting it and he was so lovely and helpful with e everything taking his time to talk me through everything, allowed me to ask questions and answered them to help me understand everything better and seemed like a generally good person so thank you so much!!

Irreparable Nail in the Tyre…Replacement Sorted

I found an irreparable nail in the tyre wall and contact Ingeni for assistance. I spoke with Oscar, who was extremely helpful. Oscar advised of all the necessary steps I needed to take to submit a claim. From submission to outcome response (approval) it was about 4 days which was great. Full coats for the affected tyre will be reimbursed (within 30 days which my only gripe). Great service and insurance product.

Thanks for the great review. We usually pay within a few days as we make bulk payments frequently. We always state within 30 days so we don't disappoint our customers by missing a self-imposed deadline. We can't identify your claim from this review, but I do know that all outstanding claims have been authorised for payment and the last of this week's claims are being made today. It is very very likely, that you will have been reimbursed by the time you read this reply.

Ashlea Knight did a great job with my claim.

Ashlea Knight dealt with my claim very quickly and efficiently. She was helpful and did not quibble in the slightest.

The repair to my alloy wheels was carried out in a timely and professional manner.

The whole episode was an exemplar of good service, well done.

Successful completion of claim

I contacted Ingeni after our car was given a red warning at its first service for a cut in the NSF Tyre. I spoke with Oscar who emailed the forms and instructions for us to claim. It was all very easy, and we completed the transfer of forms and pictures within a day. Claim was upheld, a pleasant experience

Please be aware before taking an Ingeni…

Please be aware before taking an Ingeni services car policy on complete wheel protection and minor damage insurance. Make sure to ask Ingeni to define the terms and conditions.

On terms and conditions in the policy document, it stated "a scratched area no more than 30cm in length, 3mm in depth and that sits within no more than two (2) body panels."

However, in their reply email, this changed to "where Minor damage extends across multiple panels, the total size of the combined damaged area must also be no larger than 30cm in diameter and 3mm in depth". Suddenly, the words of "the total size" and the combined damaged area" appeared.

I will feed that back to the car dealership where I purchased my car from.

Firstly, we are sorry to see you have given us a 1 star review because of the difference in wording used to describe what is covered or not covered by the policy.

Whilst the wording is different, they are describing the same thing. We can't see that the two descriptions are contradictory.

It is always useful when people give us feedback, and your comments suggest that the difference in wording has been misunderstood and caused you some anxiety. We always want to be fully transparent and never want to cause any anxiety to our policyholders, so we will look at all the wording in our documentation and associated emails sent by the claims team, to try and remove any differences in wording.

We appreciate you leaving a review, even though it was only one star, as it has provided us with a useful insight into how our communications are perceived, and helps us improve our customer communications.

We've taken a few days to look at your claim in detail. In your specific case, looking at the photographs you have provided, I can see that there is a nasty scratch across a wing and a door panel that exceeds significantly more than the 30cm that the policy is designed to cover, and both wordings accurately describe this. In this case the claim was not valid. We appreciate this is frustrating.
